Skincare - Face -Neostrata - Oil Free Daytime Smoothing Lotion Level 3

This is a review for the regular one with no SPF! I have no trouble with pilling at all. I have been using it two months at night and in the morning. It absorbs well and my skin is more even toned. Don't get the one with SPF!!! It is more expensive and doesn't seem to work well at all. This one gets rave reviews from Dr Oz and Paula's Choice.
Blush -Unlisted Brand - GABRIEL COLOR BLUSH (PETAL)

I just bought this in Rose and it is a beautiful natural colour which gives a perfect glow. It lasts way longer than other blushes and has no talc or bismuth oxychloride which I try to avoid. This is a great natural company. They have had this at my local health store for years, but I finally decided to buy it. It is kind of like a creamy powder. I like that it is still there at the end of the day.
Styling Products -Brocato - Cloud 9 Blowout Miracle Repair Blow Dry Serum

Love this. I have just started blow drying my hair. I used to always let my kind of frizzy hair air dry. I thought I just made a mess when I used a blow dryer. With this my hair looks ultra sleek with body. My hair looks so healthy! I am thrilled. It is quite inexpensive too and is cruetly free as well. I have only used it five times and every time it squirts out product so the bottle must start very full. I
Primer/ Corrector -Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Face Primer

I am surprised at the negative comments with this. I have really sensitive skin which is oily, acne prone and has some scarring with a few early signs of aging. I have been using this as a primer/moisturizer in the morning and I love it. My skin looks better after just a couple of weeks. I used to use Pur Mineral Green Primer and would have to use two pumps of that. I still use that on top of the Korres but use much less and just where my skin tends to be pink. I find my make-up lasts all day and my face looks amazing at the end of the day when I wash it off. This stuff smells so good! I will always use it. I bought this in a kit that contained a lip gloss, a mascara and a sample of moiturizer. It was a great deal. I just love Korres products. I really feel they improve my skin.
I needed a bronzer bush for my Smashbox Halo bronzer. I was wasting too much product. I took a quick look at the reviews for bronzer brushes and saw this. Well I am thrilled! It fits in the Halo compact and just a small amount of product gives me a sun-kissed glow. I love the feel of it. This is much better than the Ecotools blush brush which eventually lost it's shape. This is probably my favourite brush and was worth paying full price at London Drugs for $16 or whatever. They often run out of them, so I grabbed it!
I love this! I have been mixing it with my Smashbox TM and it looks great. It covers everything. On its own it is a bit too dry but with the TM it blends perfectly! It does have Bismuth oxycholoride in it which sometimes bugs me so I use primer and a bit of Korres mmu underneath. My skin feels great! And it lasts! I am so happy I finally found this.
I love this colour. It is so pretty. It especially looks good with a pink shirt. These are expensive, but they really add moisture. The colour lasts a long time. This is my fifth Smashbox lipgloss. I sometimes try others, but I always go back to this one. This one and the one with SPF are just great.
Bronzers -Smashbox - Halo Glow Color Boosting Powder

I bought this last May and still have some left. This is the best bronzer. I did take a break during November to February, but have been using just a bit for some almost Spring colour. It is the best. It doesn't contain talc and you can layer it for a real tanned look or just use a bit. Last year someone told me I looked so tan, but it was just this! I also use it as an eyeshadow. Love it! I have already bought a back up!
Update: I have been using this for a couple of months to remove eye make up and mix it with my cleanser to remove the rest of my make up. My skin has become much less oily. I love this stuff!!!! I do make sure I use my Mia after with just cleanser, but it works so well. I should learn that I just can't use oil on my face. I used this for several nights to take off make up and then followed with my usual cleansing routine. I started to break out slightly, but it wasn't much. Today I noticed a few small blemishes again. This is the only difference in my routine. I will use this for my hair though. I mixed it with shampoo and my hair is very soft! I just can't use any oil on my face.
Skincare - Body -Cake Beauty - Milkmade Velveteen Hand Cream

I bought a huge sample kit of Cake products at the Bay with a gift card. I love Cake! This stuff is awesome. I have very dry hands. A bit of this and they feel protected and smooth. I am keeping it at work since I wash my hands so much here.
Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
Joanna09 2/16/2011 4:27:00 PM
I have really difficult skin. It still breaks out and is oily. I find a lot of make up looks weird at the end of the day or is cakey. I have been using this in Luminous for several months along with mmu and it is great. If I don't use it, I find my skin is really oily so it does control oil quite well! I am going to buy the Light next time to get more coverage. Some people say it is oily, but I give it a good shake before I put it on and it is really nice. I love the feel of it. I am hoping I can use the light no its own and will update. By they way, I bought this in early November and still have tons left.
Cleansers -The Body Shop - cucumber concombre cleansing milk
Joanna09 2/1/2011 12:16:00 PM
This is an amazing product for the price! I break out easily and this is perfect for my skin. I use the soft flannel face cloth from The Body Shop with it and it removes everything. It is $5! It is usually sold out, so I bought two the last time I found it. It smells great and lasts for ages.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex

This product has changed my skin. Now if I get a blemish at all this gets rid of it overnight! It smells like herbs and feels soothing. I had a nasty break out over Christmas on my neck. I don't usually break out there, but it was stress and cold weather related. After just a few days of using this, the area was totally clear and no scars at all! I wish I had known about this all my life. I don't know about it's anti aging properties, but for keeping acne prone skin comfortable and clear it is amazing! I will always use this. If you have oily or acne prone skin this is a must have product! I have been using it for over a month and still have tons left so it will last awhile.
I like this! I saw it on-line on the Sephora site and was really wowed by the reviews. They actually had it at my local Sephora, so I picked some up. I like that it has some great ingredients like rose quartz. It also has spf 30 which is perfect. It works really well as a concealer too. I have the Sephora mmu brush #45 which works really well with this. I also use a larger Kabuki. I used Bare Minerals for a year or so, but I found that you really needed the Mineral Veil to set it properly. It made me break out after awhile due to the cornstarch. I have been experimenting with different foundations this year such as Shiseido The Makeup Stick and some tinted moisturizers. This is the best so far. I put a bit of my Smashbox Halo over top because I am addicted to that stuff and my skin looks really good. It is not cakey at all!
I just started using this a week ago. I love it! I have oily, acne prone skin and so far this works well. It has kaolin clay in it which is very soothing and helps absorb oil. A couple of times I have used powder half way through the day, but that is just force of habit. I think the stick is actually more sanitary than people think. It's the same idea as a lipstick where the make up comes off leaving the stick clean. Maybe. I just know I can't use any kind of compact with a sponge as that is really unsanitary! My only concern is that this company still does some animal testing. I thought I had this one on my list of cruetly free, but I checked and they are just phasing it out :( I will finish this one, but will try a different stick next time until 2013 when Shiseido stops testing completely. Maybe Bobbi Brown. Anyway the coverage is good and it melts into my skin. I blend with fingers and then buff with my face brush. No break outs and I love the feel of it. It is quicker than my usual mmu which I needed a break from:) So thumbs up and at least they are phasing out the animal testing.
