Used this last night, It works as a good detangler too! My hair is so DEAD from dyeing it so much, to the point where fine hair is now frizzy and knotty! It looks like I have sex hair when I wake up! Not attractive. When I used this, I woke up and my hair was soft and smooth. Two things my shampoo and conditioner were not doing anymore. I bought this on sale at Ulta for 6 bucks. I will repurchase when I run out. Definitely will be looking into the nexxus hair care line because of this product.

I am someone who suffers from acne scars. Till this day, every time I get a break out, it leaves a scar because my skin is so dang sensitive! I have combination skin that tends to get a little oily. As I mentioned earlier, it is also sensitive and scars very easily. I do not break out often, only when that time of the month comes around. Hormonal break outs = stink and is the worst (in my opinion). Any how, in attempt to rid myself of my acne scars, I have tried everything from exfoilators, whitening creams, clarisonic, olay pro x, more creams, oils. I am in college so there is only so much I can spend. When I first heard of the Personal Microderm System, I wanted to buy it right at that very moment (impulse shopper). But I waited at least 6 months before making the final purchase. I wanted to do enough research, read enough reviews and SAVE for this system. I ended up buying this off of eBay for $145.00 but later did I find out you can buy this on ShopNBC.com for $98 bucks (kicking myself as I type). When the system finally arrived, I watched the DVD (highly recommended that you watch the DVD) that came in the box over and over and over. I tested it on my inner arm to see if I had any severe reaction to the product. It was a go after that. I washed my face, exfoliated with my olay pro x, showered and waited for my face to completely dry. Once I started gliding the PMD over my skin, it didn't hurt. It actually tickled. YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE DEVICE MOVING! Do not let it linger and do not press to hard. My first time using this machine was a success. Results; My face afterwards was pink. I washed off the dead skin cells with my Mario Badescu Enzyme Gel and finished off with a non-alcohol toner, Mario Badescu Seaweed "Lotion". After my skin returned to it's normal color, I applied my Palmer's Eventone Fade Cream along with my Palmer's Night Renewal Cream. When I woke up in the morning, my *then* dark acne scars, are now a faint red/pink color. I was shocked at how smooth my skin looked too! After I finished doing my make up, I was sold. The PMD not only made my skin look incredibly smooth and fresh-looking, I did NOT have to cake on any concealer to completely hide my scars! I usually have to touch up on my make up before work and when I came home from school, my make up was looking great! Even after I took off my make up, I still felt like my skin looked fine without it and I am the type of person to never leave the house without any powder on. I cannot wait to see after a couple of weeks how the PMD will change my skin. I am determined to keep this regimen up and update everyone in a couple of weeks.
Conditioner -Ouidad - Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner

When I first started using this, I loved it! It made my hair smell super nice, it gave it a little volume. For preference, k have natural black hair that is dyed dark brown with caramel highlights, it's also oily and fine. Anyway so when I first started using this, I like it. But gradually thought as I continued to use it that the product could be better. The price is $22 for the big bottle at sephora.. Personally I don't think the bottle is big enough. Then again I'm new to the hair game, so I wouldn't know if this is a good price for the amount. Anyway, I will probably repurchase if I cannot find anything else cheaper and works just as well. I don't think it's worth shelling out $22 bucks.
I bought this brush because of the reviews on here. When I opened it I didn't know if I wanted to use it for foundation or powder. I decided to go with using it as a stippling brush and boy do I love the way it stamps on my foundation to my face. It looks way better (in my opinion) than the small stippling brush from Sonia Kashuk and way cheaper. It's only 3 bucks, give it a shot. Oh and something I should mention when I pulled it out of the packaging it shed a little. But thats not gonna stop me from buying more/using it. Yes I would buy this again and Yes I would recommend this to my friends, I already have.
WOW! I LOVE THIS CLEANSER! I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I bought this because of the reviews here on MUA and I'm very pleased I did. Before using this gel, my skin was not in it's best condition. I have occasional breakouts (I get a new pimple every week), my skin is combo/oily and I have pretty bad acne scars. After using this gel, my clinique clarifying lotion 2 and bio oil/Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion (I use bio oil as a moisturizer at night, aveeno face lotion during the day) my skin is well on it's way to being PERFECT! I also use Mario Badescu's Whitening Mask too. I have absolutely no break outs on my face right now and my scars are minimizing. I highly recommend MB to everyone, although it is pricey, it's well worth the money! I Love You Mario Badescu! Marry me!
this is my HG! i bought this at target for 11.99 (kinda pricey for a drugstore brand) and i fell in love with this! i use sonia sashuk's multi purpose duo fiber brush to apply & blend. this gives me an airbrushed look, very matte. i love it! :) just be sure to remove this stuff with pond's cold cream or you will break out
First of all, I'll start with the fact that before I started using this, my skin was suffering from horrible break outs. I'm a picker, I pick at my whiteheads until it starts to bleed. Yes I know, picking is the worse thing you can do to your face, but it is what it is, I love to pick. Back to the point, I was in desperate need to find a new skincare routine since my old routine (Cetaphil face wash, Clearisil daily pads and Aveeno Ultra-Calming Face lotion) wasn't cutting it anymore, I used this routine back in high school and it kept my acne under control. But since I started college in fall 2010, my face erupted into massive amounts of whiteheads and horrible red bumps. My confidence level shot downward as the fall semester continued. Anyway, I heard about Mario Badescu and wanted to give his line a shot. The night I used it, I washed my makeup off, then cleansed my face with Mario Badescu's Glycolic Foaming Cleanser (at my local ULTA, you received a small sample of this everytime you purchase one of his products, YAY!), I toned and put on lotion. After my face dried, I dabbed this on my small white heads and small bumps. I woke up the next morning and found that they were gone! I was shocked and ridiculously happy that I went back and took another look at what he had to offer. (I will write reviews on the other products too) One thing you should keep in mind before purchasing this product (as mentioned in some reviews below) you CANNOT use this on full blown whiteheads and pimples, expecting them to go away the next day. When I first purchased this, I tried using it on my full blown blemishes and it didn't do much. But for the blemishes that were starting to erupt, it made them go bye bye. This has truly helped clear up my skin! I love it, even though its 17 bucks a bottle, it is well worth it. You do get alot of it and yes I will definitely repurchase.

i love cetaphil products, but for some reason this face moisturizer completely sucked. i have combo/oily skin and this just made me look like a grease ball. not attractive, i will not purchase this in the future. it might work for someone with dry/sensitive skin.

After using this product for about 12 weeks, I feel like I am ready to write a review for this. To start off, I have short, sparse, thin asian eyelashes. Fortunately my eyelashes have a natural curl. When I started using this product, it took a good month to see any real results. Even then they were still short. I saw noticable growth around the second month, now on my third month I have really really REALLY long eyelashes. My eyelids also got dark and my eyes were irritated for about 2 1/2 weeks, but it went away. Although they are not as thick as I would like them to be, I am very satisfied for what this did for me. I will definitely keep purchasing. I bought mine from ADC, for $11, which includes an eyeliner brush.
I LOOOOVE THIS MASCARA!!! It's currently my HG! To be honest I won't be hunting for anymore new mascaras to try out for a while! It lengthens better than it's "telescopic" family members (clean definition & the regular telescopic formula) so with that being said the black color is extremely dark, hence the carbon black name. it thickens fairly well but not enough where I can say "look I have fake eyelashes". Otherwise I do recommend this product, the best from l'oreal!
i love this mascara! i wouldnt recommend it if your looking for a volumized look. its more for lengthining, gives off a natural look! i dont have very long eyelashes, but with this mascara they just pop out! its amazing! i would buy over and over again! good product!
The product doesn't do as said in advertisement. In order for me to achieve that "falsies" look I have to put on rimmels glam eyes mascara beforehand and then the falsies mascara. BUT I do have to say it makes my bottom lashes extremely long and coats it where it's not spidery looking or too black. It looks natural. So I'm kinda in the middle with this mascara. I don't like using it unless its with my glam eyes mascara and love using it on my bottom lashes. The brush coats everything evenly though so that's an extra lippie for ya. Otherwise idk if I would repurchase this again. I probably would if I felt like it, but I definitely wouldn't need it.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation
Jkeo22 9/18/2010 5:05:00 AM
im surprised there are so many negative reviews on this product! personally i prefer a natural look over a matte one anyday. so i was looking for something cheaper than the BE stuff i usually get. this product is a great alternative. if i dont want to spot treat my small scars on my face, i use the brush that is on top of the product. at first i didnt like the brush at all. but once i started getting lazy putting on liquid makeup, i just used the power and the brush that came along with it. the trick is just to brush with a bit more force than you normally would with a normal brush. otherwise, if im wearing liquid makeup i just use a regular makeup brush. i use elf's kabuki brush. ordered it online for 3 bucks, works great! anywho, i love this mineral foundation, works just as great as BE. UPDATE: I use SmashBox Hydrating Halo Powder now. Loreal's is too thick and cakey. It makes me look like a greaseball. Gross. Will NOT repurchase.
I really love this mascara! Only problem for me is that it flakes a little. But its no big deal. I just wipe it off. But what the mascara mainly does for me is lengthens and curls. As for volumizing, its eh okay. I have pretty short asian eyelashes so this mascara is pretty good for its pricing and quality! UPDATE: Flakes WAY too much for my liking. 7 bucks for this? I'd rather use Covergirl's or Maybelliene's mascaras.

i bought this after reading all the wonderful reviews on here. sadly this product broke me out, i have oily, sensitive skin! and even though this gave me a really natural look and dont get me wrong i loved the way it looked on me!! but i guess it wasnt just meant to be as it gave me a horrible break out :(
