This foundation is awesome! Pretty sure my search of an HG foundation has ended. I've used everything found in a drug store: maybelline superstay, revlon colorstay, hard candy, loreal infallible, I mean EVERYTHING. I have a few left over acne scars and this stuff covers them like a dream. It looks natural and stays all day. I was using Revlon Colorstay for a while and it was starting to look awful! This foundation lets my skin breathe and is easy to take off at the end of the day. I apply it with a flat top brush, then blend with my fingers. I am so glad I gave this product a second chance, after using it about a year ago. I have NEVER written a review for a foundation, but this foundation is too amazing I had to. Try it, you won't be sorry!

This stuff is amazing! Recently, I used high lift color instead of bleach to go from medium brown to dark blonde. This time I just used the wrong high lift brand and it left me with ugly orange! So I put dark ash blonde over it as soon as I could. The results were fairly good, but I could still notice orange tints here and there. I researched reviews for the Shimmer Lights shampoo and HAD to pick some up. Too bad it was 9 and Sally's and Ulta were both closed. So I went to walmart, no luck. Then, Walgreens and waaalaaa found the John Frieda purple shampoo. I had read reviews on this shampoo as well and acted on instinct. Some of the reviews said it took about 3 shampoos to notice a real difference in the amount of brassiness. So I used it TWICE in a row, as I was desperate for a quick solution. Left it on 2 min. each time and it worked! The brass has gone done dramatically and isn't noticeable. If you have unwantedpumpkin orange or unwanted banana yellow tones GET THIS SHAMPOO! It's truly a miracle in a bottle.

If you have sensitive skin STAY AWAY. I really wish I would have read these reviews first. This foundation gave me very good coverage for my acne scars, however it broke me out VERY badly. It feels like it's suffocating your skin. This foundation gave me the worst breakouts, and they were HUGE. First, I thought my retin a medication had stopped working. I broke out in areas I never break out...my nose, under my eyebrows, and my cheeks. I continued using it, because I liked the coverage, which only contributed to more breakouts. It's been four days since I stopped using this product, and my skin is clearing up. I repeat if you have sensitive skin, STAY AWAY.
