Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Pink Grapefruit Refreshing Lip Balm

Best Lip Balm period. This is my absolute favorite. If this doesn't help chapped lips immediately then you need Aquaphor or something. It's semi-hard to find so when you do find it stock up!!
Skincare - Face -Murad - Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel

I had stopped taking birth control because I was without insurance. For a year I didn't want to even go out of the house because I was so embarrassed. My sister got me the starter kit and it just sat there for months. Once I ran out of my cheap Johnston & Johnson salicylic acid stuff I decided to try the treatment gel. It works WONDERS. I have found that washing my face with Neutrogena T-gel shampoo (it has 3 percent salicylic acid) and following it up with Murad's treatment gel and a moisturizer has tremendously improved my acne. I do still break out but it is 1 or 2 around that time of the month and the products I have been using clear it up so quickly. I decided that I would go ahead and buy another kit and use the products together. I would recommend this to anyone going through acne. What I will be doing is also incorporating a benzoyl peroxide treatment at night and continue with the salicylic acid in my mourning routine. Although buying full size products are expensive I think I will continue to buy the $30 kit every month so I have all the products. AH-MAZING stuff!!
I absolutely love this stuff! My nails always snag and break along with some peeling. Sally Hansen works but not as quickly. I love the glossy look. I only find one drawback and that is that it doesn't always go on smoothly...you can see brush marks. The fact that I haven't had any breaks or peels makes up for it. I haven't seen growth but it has only been a week. I also have been applying a coat a day as opposed to the directions of every other day. I keep obsessively staring at my nails. I will definitely repurchase!
I love this lip balm. When my lips get really flakey I can just put this on and within minutes the flakes come off and my lips feel MUCH better!!
I have been having breakouts AND it's Fall so my skin has been a MESS. I was with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (which has Salicylic Acid in it) and apply Benzaclin at night. This amounts to one very dried out face...so I use the cream on my face at night to combat the flakiness. So far its been working like a dream. It does sting because my face is already irritated from the wash and Benzaclin, but that wears off and it helps my face TREMENDOUSLY!
I bought the lip balm in the light blue tube. This is OK if you're desperate, but it is really just like spreading oil on your lips. It just sits there. When I use my Burts Bee's Lip Balm within a couple of minutes the dead skin sloughs off and I'm left with smooth lips. This stuff just stinks. I hate the scent of it. (Vanilla/Lemon I think) Again, it's hard to go to this stuff when you've used Burt's Bee's Lip Balms!
I know everyone loves this however I really think I need to buy Deep Throat. Orgasm just doesn't show up well on me, and once I DO get it to show up it fades in about two seconds. The packaging sucks...it's rubbery and the blush gets all over it. There's no cleaning it. Oh well, waste of $$.
Lotions/ Creams -Johnson & Johnson - Melt Away Stress Body Lotion

I love the smell of this. As a moisturizer...eh. It's ok. However it stops the itchiness that I get from winter. I will definitely but it again, but will have to supplement this with something else to make sure my skin is moisturized. I'm a huge fan of BBW's Grin and Bare It, so I'll use that in the morning and this as night. I took a lippie off for the lack of moisture!
Cleansers -Bliss Labs - Fabulous Foaming Face Wash

After the first few tries I thought that this was going to be way way way too harsh on my skin. However - afer about 2 weeks of using it my skin feels SO great. I definitely cannot go without washing my face. It is refreshing, clean and doesn't irritate my skin in any way. The smell was a little weird at first, but now that I am using it so often that it definitely grows on you. I felt that the sample size that Sephora gives you has more exfoliating grains....but the full size bottle works just as well. Definitely worth the 22 bucks!! I love it!
OK....I **Hate** this product. The foam dispenser popped off as soon as I took the cap off. This cleanser also made my skin feel tight, patchy and since its so cheap I have realized you definitely get what you pay for. I'm going to stick with Bliss' Fabulous Foaming Facial Cleanser. It may give you that tight feeling at firt, but it you give it a week or two your skin feels amazing!!!
I LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEE this lotion. I get very bad, dry, dry, skin in the winter. I usually suffer through it, because I'm too lazy to put lotion on. However I decided to give this a try. It's the perfect consistenty. It takes 2 minutes to put on and it keeps my legs itch-free throughout the day. It has also given them a nice, even color since they are moisturized. My only issue with the fragrance is that it sometimes clashes with my perfume...for maybe 10 minutes....then the fragrance fades and I'm good to go. I love this stuff!
Skincare - Face -Biore - Pore Minimizing Refining Exfoliator [DISCONTINUED]
JessicaMary21 9/30/2007 7:50:00 PM
I use this about 2-3 times a week, as I've been trying to even out my skin and get the moisturiser to actually work. I use Garnier Detoxifying Gel Cleanser and then will use the scrub and follow up with Extra virgin olive oil. I can't believe what an improvement I've seen. The scrub REALLY smoothes everything out and brightens your face. I'll definitely buy again!
Alright, I was really trying to like this...however it is not that great. My eyelashes DO NOT say curled, they fall flat immediately. They look like stubs, it does nothing for lengthening OR plumping. For $16 bucks I can find something better/cheaper at CVS. I'll use it up, but will be trying something else. The ONLY pro is that this isn't labeled as waterproof, but I laugh a lot and my tears don't make my mascara run. Other than that, it sucks.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I stumbled across these reviews about a week ago and figured I'd give it a try. My skin is very dry, but still breaks out. Go figure. I have been using Garnier Detoxifying Gel Cleanser every day and night, and at night I'll dab a cotton pad with EVOO and massage it into my face. I cannot believe how great this stuff works!! My existing pimples have been going away and my dry eyelids have been cured! When I wake up my skin is glowing. I also use Biore Pore Minimizing scrub every day to help slough off the dead skin so the EVOO can penetrate better. I can't even say enough about this....everyone should try it. Plus I bought Bertolli's EVOO for about $6 bucks at target, you can't go wrong. I would like to add I only use this at night because it does obviously have a fragrance to it. No moisturizer ever has given me such quick and fantastic results!!! I'll probably never ever go back to buying expensive creams and cleansers, as my total regimen probably adds up to about $20 and has worked the best.
This stuff is amazing...I put it on in the morning because I forgot at night and it still worked insanely well. Totally worth the price. I hope they come out with more scents though.
