Mascara -Boots - No 7 Longer Lashes

My tube wasn't dry when I first bought it. Although it didn't take long for it to dry up. It was nice while being able to use it, but it wasn't the best I've tried. It was also easy to come off.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Brow

This pencil helps out so much when my eyebrows are growing in and my waxing appointment isn't for a few days. I just line my brow lightly and rub it in with upward strokes. (guess that's hard to explain.) It covers up those incoming hairs and gives me a more noticeable arch. I love using it. Since it's not an everyday product, for me. It last for a long long time.

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara
rated 5 of 5

I'm a mascara junkie. I will not leave my house without it. This mascara is my absolute favorite. It doesn't clump. Even after having it for a while, it still hasn't clumped. The brush separates my lashes evenly and gives them a light lift. I use Ultra Black. I love dark lashes and this tube delivers that. I don't notice a smell, but I also don't sniff my mascara. I'm sure most would smell if I did that. I also love how easy it is to come off. I just jump in the shower, wipe my eyes, rub a little virgin coconut oil on them, and I'm good. No raccoon or wannabe "The Crow" look. Like the eyeliner, I'm having a hard time finding it again. The mascara and eyeliner together make my eyes POP. Or so says my hubby. =)

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Pressed Powder

I agree with other posters the color you get is lighter than you think. I like the concept of this product, but I can't say it works for me. I don't wear powder ordinarily, but I have used better. Maybe a darker shade would work. Since I like this line of product, I will buy again in a darker shade. I like the packaging. It's cute.

Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - organic wear eyeshadow duo
rated 4 of 5
Jeslynn 8/2/2009 1:53:00 PM

I don't typically wear eyeshadow, but out of the few I tried, I like this on the best. I bought the one for blue eyes because I like the colors more. I use it on rare occasion when I'm able to go out with my hubby. I'm not sure if it's suppose to come with something to apply it with, but mine didn't. Thankfully I have a brush kit already. Personally, I like it. It doesn't irritate my eyes and it's easy to manipulate. - I can blend it well. The packaging can be kinda bulky if you carry it around with you, but I don't. I think it's cute. =)

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Eyeliner

I love eyeliner. It's one of the three things that I actually wear on my face. I've tried a lot of eyeliner and have a drawer full of them. They usually either run, smudge, not really go on, are to thick, too light, stings or is hard as hell to get off. Not Organic Wear. It goes on smooth and it's dark. The perfect shade. The one I always wanted. Black Night Organics. It usually will stay on for hours without having to touch up. It doesn't smudge. Mine only does when I rub my eyes or if I'm sweaty. It's also very easy to remove. I love it! Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it recently.

Conditioner -Yes To Carrots - Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner
rated 3 of 5
Jeslynn 8/2/2009 1:32:00 PM

I like this conditioner, but I was hoping it would help out just a little more. It does give my hair a little lift and seems to be thicker, but it doesn't help with tangles at all. It also doesn't help with frizz or with curls/ waves. I usually can use just shampoo and conditioner and have bouncy defined curls. With this shampoo and conditioner I can't. My hair does look nice, but I wouldn't say it's shiny or silky. And the smell does not bother me.

Shampoo -Yes To Carrots - Pampering Carrot Juice Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
Jeslynn 8/2/2009 1:25:00 PM

I really liked this shampoo when I first got it, but after using it for 2 months I noticed my hair is starting to dry out. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo or if I'm not drinking enough water. (I think I am.) I found out that I have the one with SLS in it. I picked it up in the store and read the ingredients and everything was good. I put it back down and grabbed one closer to the back. I used it for a few days then realized while reading the bottle that it had SLS. Boy was I confused. I went back to the store and went through them and noticed some had it and some did not. Next time I by it I will be getting the one with NO SLS. I don't get the silky feeling after using just the shampoo. The instructions are also different from other shampoo's I read. Shampoo - leave on for 2 minutes. Conditioner - scrub for 2 minutes and leave on for 2 to 3 minutes. I don't mind it, just different.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Spectrum - Coconut Oil
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 4:04:00 PM

I use this for everything. I have 3 jars. One in my kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I use it for almost everything. Hair care, lotion, cleanser, teeth whitening, foot repair, weight loss, energy, and just recently I started using it to shave with. I know that sounds weird, but it works for me. I noticed my hair doesn't grow back as fast. I'm sure it would be different for everyone, but it might be worth a try. Normal shaving cream makes my legs dry out and itchy. Even after using lotion. (Coconut oil helped with that) One day I was out of shaving gel so I used the oil. I didn't even need to moisturize afterward. They feel great. One other use is after Brazilian waxes. It helps me not get ingrown hairs.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Coconut Oil
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 3:57:00 PM

I messed up at first and used regular coconut oil and my hair was a mess. Couldn't get the oil out for a few days and my hair was actually stiff. Not pretty. I read articles on the web wondering what I did wrong and found out I need to use the virgin kind. I bought it and it is so much better. It comes out better and leaves it shiny. I don't really know why, but it does make a difference for me. It also works great on my tips in the winter when my hair starts to dry out. Oh, I forgot. It does help define my curls/ waves. Hardly any frizz.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 3:52:00 PM

I was so worried about using this, but I'm glad I tried it. EVCO is amazing. It easily removes whatever make-up I'm wearing. (I only use eyeliner, mascara, and a SPF with tint.) It might not work for someone that uses heavy makeup. I found I can't leave it on my face very long because I have small pores. So I will put it on about an hour before my shower then rinse it off with warm water. If my skin is acting oily (like in the summer) I will use Witch Hazel afterward. Otherwise I'm good. Great smell!!!

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 3:47:00 PM

Oh man, I'm in love. The oil feels so great on my skin and leaves it feeling smooth. I was worried at first, thinking I was going to have to walk around naked or in old sweats so I wouldn't leave oil spots everywhere I went. (couch, sheets, chairs, good clothes,) Thankfully it actually dried pretty fast. I did a few test runs on fabric and it didn't leave any oil spots. My husband loves to rub my legs after I use it. So soft. I love the smell of coconuts so the smell doesn't bother me. (I use extra virgin)

Toners -Thayers - Rose Petal Alcohol Free Witch Hazel
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 3:41:00 PM

I've been looking for an alcohol free Witch Hazel product for awhile. I was very happy to have found this while shopping at Whole Foods. It's a bit more expensive there from what I see now. About $10. I really do not notice a strong smell and have not had any kind of reaction. My pores are clearing up. I like how it doesn't burn - alcohol free. It also seems to go along way. I got two cotton balls out thinking I would need them both. Nope, just one did the job. So i gave the other to my husband. He tried it and liked how "it doesn't sting my nose." He'll keep using it, but would rather have the lemon. =P I also like how the bottle is kinda vintage looking.

Skincare - Face -Arbonne - Entire Line
rated 1 of 5
Jeslynn 7/31/2009 11:19:00 AM

First let me start off by saying I really enjoyed Arbonne. I had great results with most of their products. Usually I research anything and everything I put on my body. However, I did not with Arbonne. I got sucked into the hype and went in full throttle. The sales pitch sounded great, "pure, safe, and beneficial." When the host said, "Vegan" I was all ears. True the products are mostly Vegan and that is supported by the Vegan society, but they are not "pure and safe" as claimed. I first become suspicious when some of my products I had bought did not come with a full list of ingredients or the Vegan stamp. I called around asking questions and was assured that it was Vegan and I could go ask the Vegan Society. OK, that's great, but what about the ingredients? Why can't I have a full description? I can't recall verbatim what was said, but it came down to this: We guarantee our products and stand behind them 100%. If you have any more questions see your consultant. Hmmm, that sounds odd. So I ask my consultant, which hardly knows anything about the product she is endorsing. (I won't rant about that right now.) Anyway I got online and searched. I found some very helpful sites that actually listed the ingredients. I also found other people that were suspicious of their claims. Well, I'm glad I did my research. Below I provide a list of some of their ingredients I find concerning and not pure or safe. Also, some of these ingredients have shown to be skin irritants. Methylparaben Propylparaben triethanolamine benzophenone-3 quaternium 15 ammonium lauryl sulfate aluminum starch octenylsuccinate aluminum powder sodium lauryl sulfate triclosan BHT benzyl alcohol I'm sure there are more, but I stopped at this. There is also a possibility that they've changed some, but that does not change the fact that they are using false advertising to sale their products. (and the fear strategy.) I know a lot of cosmetic products have some bad ingredient, but I was trying to move away from that. I now use mostly stuff from home. It's cheaper, fresher and honestly, I get much better results.

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Sheer Tint Moisturiser SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
Jeslynn 5/24/2009 8:18:00 PM

I wear this every day, all through the year along with the spf eye care. This product is my make-up. I love the tint and that it had a spf. It won't give you a foundation look, but it does have a slight tint to it which works for me.
