Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Expert Face Brush

I love this brush so much! It is very versatile but my favorite use for it is to apply foundation. It also applies cream blush beautifully. Im a fan of most of the real techniques brushes but I would say if youre going to purchase just one this would be my pick. It is super soft and just blends so flawlessly.
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

I saw so many youtube videos on these lip butters before I purchased any because I was a little skeptical of all the hype. Im glad I did because if not for all the swatches I would never have picked up this shade due to it looking so bright. I think this color looks really beautiful on darker skin tones because it really brightens the face. I have pigmented lips so it doesn't really show up super orange but i love the subtle orange tint it gives.
Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic eye liner pencil -black

As a wearer of contact lens I am always on the hunt for an eye liner that can stay put on my waterline (contacts make my eyes watery, therefore nothing lasts on my waterline). I had seen so many rave reviews for this product on youtube and was super excited to try it out. I love the pigmentation and the texture of this liner but unfortunately this did not work for me. It transfers onto my contacts and then leaves a haze of product over them to the point where Im seeing blurry and have to take them off. Im so sad that this happens because its such a rich black and looks beautiful on. I rated it a 3 because I could still line my upper lash line with this but it doesn't work on the waterline.
Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Sensitive Facial Cleanser with Cotton Extract

I too am a Bzz Agent and was sent this cleanser along with the moisturizer for review. I was quite excited to try this out as I am a huge fan of the Burt's Bees products (specifically the lip balms!) but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I have to agree with some of the other reviews in that it is a quite thick consistency. Once applied it is a thick non foaming cream cleanser that takes a while to wash off. It doesn't remove much on my minimal makeup days yet alone my heavy duty foundation. I feel like I always have to use a toner after using this to actually feel like my face is clean. I am acne prone and it hasn't irritated my skin so I continue to use it, but only as my morning cleanser as I feel I don't need a heavy duty cleanser in the morning. I don't think its a bad product but it doesn't fit my needs for a cleanser. I feel for more mature skin in need of moisture this would be really great, considering my mom seems to be enjoying it. Personally the thickness is off putting and I would not repurchase.
I really love this gloss. They resemble a high end lip gloss on the lips and the packaging as well. It isn't a chunky glitter high shine look, which I'm happy about. I prefer a smooth, less shiny gloss that just gives my lips a plumping effect. This color is perfect over my favorite nude lipsticks. It gives it a slight pink color with gold microglitter to add an extra special touch. It's my go to everyday gloss. I actually dont mind the applicator either. It works well to spread the gloss evenly and more high end glosses are coming out with that type of applicator as well. On my tan skin it looks beautiful. I have since repurchased in two other shades and am a fan!
Lip Gloss -Revlon - ColorBurst lip gloss in Bordeaux

I really love these lipglosses. This particular color is great for the fall if you want to pull off a deep red lip without it looking too in your face. I am not really a fan of extremely shiny lip gloss so I really like the finish of this gloss. The glitter isn't chunky and the shine is very even and minimal. On my tan skin this gloss is pigmented and leaves a berry red tint on my lips. I personally don't mind the applicator because I have big lips and it helps glide on color fast. I could see how some one with smaller lips could find it uncomfortable to apply, although you could use the thin side of the applicator as well. You get used to it. The staying power is decent. It is like a liquid lipstick with some micro glitter. It is a beautiful finish. Overall I would repurchase.
I like this mascara but the biggest thing that bothers me about it is how difficult it is to remove. I use a really good makeup remover and feel that even after trying to remove this twice that there will always be some build up left on my lashes. This adds length and volume to my lashes but I would rather pay for a nicer mascara that is easier to remove.
I love this lip butter color so much. I am not a big lipstick wearer but I do enjoy a hint of color on my lips. This makes my lips look like I just ate a red ice pop, the finish is really natural. It isn't extremely moisturizing but I more use this for the color since it leaves my lips more moisturized than a lipstick would. The only downside is I have to apply this with a brush to be sanitary and not get color all over my finger. btw incase this helps, Im NC40 and this is a perfect shade for my skin tone.
Lipstick -Tarte - Natural Lip Stain with LipSurgence in Moody

The formula of these lip tints are amazing. I love the way it feels on my lips and adds a natural shine to them. They feel very much like a lip balm. The color is a berry red color, which on my pigmented lips just makes them a more even berry color ( a my lips but better look). It is a beautiful lip color without looking like I'm trying to hard. It lasted a decent amount on my lips but I dont think I would call this a lip tint. I like the product a lot but the price is a little steep.
I gave into this product after receiving a free sample of it. I honestly just really enjoyed the texture and smell of this product and decided I had to have it. But overall this hasn't really impressed me and it isn't really a scrub for me. The kiwi seeds are big and don't really do much to remove much dead skin. and most importantly I have had this for 6 months and have not noticed a difference in my skin. With or without it I feel like my skin still looks the same. It does not live up to its claims of being good for reducing blackheads. I love other mario badescu products but this one is not my favorite. I still do really love the way it feels on the face but not if it isn't doing anything and not enough to buy it again.
I will just start off by saying I don't wear foundation everyday. Im a tinted moisturizer kinda girl and I love a natural look even if I am wearing a more full coverage foundation. This is why I love this product so much, it leaves a flawless natural look. I've never used any of the sephora foundations, but all the great reviews really made me curious. I got a sample in the store and then liked it so much I brought the full size. I use this with my Laura Mercier primer and it stays put all day. I have combo skin and get really oily on my nose but with this foundation I don't get as oily as I'm used to. I blot later in the day but that's after 6 hrs of wear. I think a little definitely goes a long way. I haven't tried to but I'm sure if you tried to build it up to full coverage it would just look cakey. So i dont think its quite full coverage but it does cover redness on my face while still making me look not too made up. Oh for reference I am NC40, a little lighter now due to winter, but I got matched to number 30, and it matches my skin tone really well. At $22 I think it's a steal
I really like this kit. i have dark brown hair and brows so i find this works well for me-i got the darkest shade. Some have given this lower reviews due to the brush but i find that to be silly, since the actual product works real well. on me this last all day and looks natural, which is what i really wanted. the packaging is cute but its a bit bulky. its kind of pricey but i have had it for 6 months and havent made a significant dent in it. overall im happy with this and would repurchase
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

This is one of the few products in which i didn't just throw out the brush it came with. I actually like it and use it all the time. if anything im okay with this purchase because i got the brush out of it. On to the product. i got this liner in the brown shade. Overall its just okay. I wish it was a darker brown but thats just preference. Its weird at first the top layer of liner in the pot is hard to get on the brush and when applied is pretty translucent. but once you get deeper in the pot it is like a different product. its super creamy and easy to apply. also it doesnt smudge on my eyes but it does fade. later in the day i notice it is not as visible. i got this on sale so im not too dissapointed, but i dont think i'd purchase at its original price. elf and coastal scent have better liners for that price.
Im an nc40 for reference and this lipstick is the perfect nude color. It glides on really smooth and doesnt drag on my lips. I will say though that it doesnt last very long and is a little drying to the lips. but i dont mind considering what i paid for it. I especially like it with elfs trendsetter mineral lipgloss over top.
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow in Sippin' and Dippin
Jescaoh 7/9/2010 1:36:00 PM
Ive been wanting these for awhile so i read a lot of reviews and most of them said great things. i have tried MAC paint pots and had no luck with the color painterly so i really wanted to try another creme shadow that could be used as a base and not crease. i thought this color was the perfect shade for me and it looked like something i can wear everyday alone or with shadow on top. i finally ended up buying it and when i got it in the mail i was so excited to try it on. in the pot the color looks amazing. but once applied it is very sheer to the point that it doesnt even give off that coraly looking color. just a shimmer really. it has a nice gold tint to it but the color pay off is nothing worth the money paid. also the worst part is that it creases. this creases on me within hours and if you go to blend it back out it pretty much ruins the rest of the shadow on your lid. this didnt work for me at all. and i dont even have oily lids. it was really dissapointing
