I've heard alot of great things about Badger products, plus I use their sleep balm nightly, which is fantastic, so I thought I'd try their lipbalms. From the name of this, I thought I would like it, since I love vanillas, but their is a bit of a weird smell to this, not light the yummy vanilla scents I'm used too. So scent wise, this didn't work for me. The formula was a bit of a let down for me as well. While not terrible, this just didn't seem to soften up my lips very much. It coated them, but never felt like it was truley doing any good. My lips were quite dry all while using this, but I used it all, so as not to waste it, but I didn't see any improvements at all, so I wouldn't buy this again, but that won't stop me from trying their other products out.
Just finished my first bottle of this and I'm very tempted to buy another one. It really has helped get rid of all the creases on my neck. Even though I'm still young, I was starting to see lines all around my neck, possibly from the way I was sleeping. This seemed to really make them disapear. I also like the way the product dispenses, you just have to make sure to not press too hard otherwise you'll end up with too much product.
I have very rough feet and I try many foot creams to try and soften them up a bit. This foot cream is only average to me. Even after 2 weeks, using it every night and sometimes during the day, it's only softened up my feet a little bit, I still have rough spots that don't seem to be moving. I also used this cream quite fast, but that might be because I like to put a good amount of cream on my feet. It has a quite strong smell that I can't place, but after I put this on on night, my husband said I smelled light old books. Not a scent I'm that found of wearing, but it doesn't bother me that much. Overall, it didn't do to much and I wouldn't buy this again.
Lotions/ Creams -100 Percent Pure - Coconut Nourishing Body Cream
JennlovesRob 5/3/2011 7:27:00 AM
I got some samples of body creams from 100% Pure and this was one of the yummy samples I recieved. The smell is very yummy, more like a coconut covered cookie or biscuit. I don't consider this a true coconut smell, it's a bit sugary to be a true coconut scent, but still very nice if you like edible scents. It's not super moisturizing, but still made my skin very soft and silky to the touch. I will consider buying the full size :)
Lotions/ Creams -100 Percent Pure - Cabernet Grape Nourishing Body Cream

I won some samples of 100% body creams and Cabarnet Grape is one of the creams I recieved. The smell of this lotion is divine! My husband and I went crazy over the smell, it's a true grape scent, very yummy indeed. It doesn't do any heavy moisturizing, but it's nice enough to get soft and silky skin. I'm very very tempted on buying this in full size! :)
I just finished my bottle of this and I'm not sure that I'd buy this again, I'm kind of torn on this product. I've used this both on my body, mainly scars and some strech marks and also on my face. I haven't noticed any difference on any of my scars or strech marks, but I only used this once a day, not the 3 times a day that it says on the directions. I couldn't see myself taking the time to use this 3 times a day anyways, it seems a wee bit much. It did leave a nice soft feel on the body though. On my face it didn't work as well, but I have dry skin. The one things I didn't like about this was the packaging. It does not take traveling kindly. I lost about 30% percent of the product in my bag-it leaked even though the top of the bottle was still shut. I'm leaning a bit towards not buying this again, but if I needed something for my body and I was desperate I might pick this up. And if anybody follows Cosmetics Database or worry's about how harmful the ingredients are in their cosmetics, this is rated a 4 out of 10 on their website.
Eye Primer -Unlisted Brand - AllureByJen Vegan Eyeshadow Primer
JennlovesRob 7/20/2010 3:44:00 PM
I bought this off of Etsy.com, thinking I'd try some more natural products. I love my eye primers and I don't mind trying new one's, so I thought I would give this one a go. I can't remember the price, but I believe this was under $10. I've used this with normal pan eyeshadows and loose mineral eyeshadows. With either form of e/s, this makes them crease like crazy and the eyeshadow wears off within under an hour! I don't even have oily lids, I use primer mainly to make the color pop a bit more. I've never had a creasing problem with or without primer before, but this actually created major creases for my e/s. This might have been intended to use with just mineral shadows, but even with those, the colors wear down so quickly! This was a huge waste of money and is going straight in the trash.
Lotions/ Creams -100 Percent Pure - Lime Body Lotion
JennlovesRob 6/22/2010 5:08:00 PM
I bought this at Bath & Body Works on sell after Christmas, so the price was great. I'd previously tried 100% Pure's line before and I love that everything's nature and truely pure, no nasty chemicals. The smell with this lime lotion to me is just so decant and yummy, And the smell lasts for a long time on me, I just love the smell that this lotion gives off. I had it one once and my husband said all of a sudden "something smells so good, is it you?" Well it was the lotion not me lol, but IMO most 100% Pure's product's smell yummy and delicous to my nose :) The lotion seems almost more like a cream to me, thicker then most lotion's, not thin at all. It moisturizes nicely and leaves my skin feeling moist. I said I probably wouldn't buy it again, 1. because I live in the U.K and it's so hard to buy 100% Pure's products over here, otherwise I would glady buy the entire range if I could. 2. I have alot of other lotion's I'd like to try. I would HIGHLY recommend trying these lotions at least once, in whatever smell attracts you. This lime lotion does remind me of Key Lime Pie, so if you like foody or fruity fragrance's this is a nice one to try. And the lotion has no nasty chemicals, if you are looking for something pure and this lotion is vegan too! All around great!
I had really high hopes with this product, but now that I've finished my bottle, I can say it didn't make any change at all in my skin. The smell is nice and hopefully it boosted the effects of my sunblock, but there's no lasting visable difference to my skin. I will say, when I dabbed this on my undereyes in the morning, it seemed to lighten up for fine lines a bit, but that's only temporary. I like that the packaging comes with a pump, so it's hygenic, but I had quite a hard time getting the last bits of the product out. I hoped it would work for me, as it worked for the other people that left positive reviews, but I'm a bit let down with this. If your intrested in this, I would say try it and see if your one of the lucky one's that does notice a difference in your skin :)
When I went to Sephora in America, I went directly for Urban Decay's liner in Zero. I had heard great things about it and I wanted a nice black color for my waterline. One of the SA's there, who was so nice, told me that MUFE's pencil were much better and I should go for that one instead since it's an intense black. I finally gave in to the SA's recommendation, but--I wish I hadn't. It's true this is a very intense black, it's glides very nicely, is creamy---but the thing that was a waste of product for me was sharpening this pencil! I used a pretty good sharpener, but maybe I was doing something wrong *but then again, how hard is it to sharpen a pencil??* Everytime I went to sharpen, it was very difficult and to get a decent point, wasted a ton of product. Finally, the inside of the pencil fell out of the wood---so into the trash the rest of this goes. Maybe I got a dud or maybe my sharpener wasn't as great as I thought, but the wood on this, is very difficult in my experience to sharpen. Good product, bad delivery. And considering this is fairly expensive for a pencil liner-and I go through them quite quickly, I have to say this was a huge waste of money for me.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black
JennlovesRob 5/17/2010 3:12:00 PM
Very nice, intense black. Goes on very creamy and stays put all day! I've applied this on my waterline and it's stayed put. I didn't have any flaking or smudging. I bought this last year while I was in America and it's literally lasted me a year! It did dry out a few times, but I just took a small spatula and tiny bit of water and re-mixed it and it was back to it's normal consistency again. Although the last time it dried out, I tried mixing it again and it stayed dried out. I still had half of the product left, so I'm just going to toss it now. I don't know if I would buy it again, since there are cream/gel liner's that are cheaper than this and since all of them dry out pretty fast usually, I think I may just stick to the cheaper one's.
Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Palmolive Aromatherapy Shower Gel
JennlovesRob 5/8/2010 12:00:00 PM
I have this in the Anti-stress version. It includes pure essential oils of lavender, ylang ylang and patchouli. I think the fragrance is very nice and quite relaxing. I did also find this slightly drying, but not so much it was a huge problem for me. The price is right, I might buy this again :)
This product for me, is just okay. I didn't notice much of a difference expect that it made the pores around my T-zone smaller, but that's not a big concern of mine. I didn't notice my pores get smaller until about a month of continual use. Also the packaging was horrible for me, the pump stopped working, so I never could get all the product out. I had to unscrew the cap and dip some product out each and every time, which grew to a pain. I would probably skip on purchasing this again.
I hate to be the one to bring down the rating for this-but this hasn't been the best balm for my lips. I bought this in America at a dollar store, so the price is really good. The consistency is nice too, not too hard or too soft. The smell is pleasant *I have the cherry version.* At first I did actually like the way this balm felt on my lips. But after continual use, it seems like it was drying out my lips more. It seemed the more I used it, the more my lips were dry and peeling. I stopped using it about a month ago and my lips are back to themselves. So the little that's left in the jar is going to be tossed.
I bought this over a year ago, since I heard that this was comparable to my Mac foundation. I'm NC15 in Mac and I got this in Buff in the Normal to Dry Skin formulation. Color wise it's perfect for my skin, actually even better then my Mac foundation. Coverage wise, I don't think it's comparable. I have quite bad acne scars and redness on my cheeks and I like full coverage to cover up all my skin woes. I found this to only be about medium coverage for me, which is okay, but I have to usually go over alot of my face with concealer, which is a pain if you have really scarred skin. My Mac foundation pretty much covered up all my scars, so coverage wise, it's not comparable IMO. I did get this in the dry skin formulation, I've heard that the formulation for oily skin covers better. At the moment, I'm going to stick with my mineral foundation, since that gives me more for the coverage I want. Also, I never did find a great way to apply this. I've tried stippling, but it left the finish kind of patchy, since it drys pretty fast. The wet sponge method was okay, I did have to put many layers on to reach the coverage I wanted, the result was a smoother application. Using my fingers was the best method I found, as I could work it in faster and the finish was smoother. As far as purchasing again, I might, but only if I'm desperate for a liquid MU. If your looking for light to medium coverage, I would say try this.
