First, I have to say that I generally haven't used mousse in YEARS because it always made my hair a frizzy, dry mess. For some reason, I decided I should give mousse another shot. I picked this up because it was cheap and I figured if my hair was a dried out mess after using it, at least I wasn't out of a ton of money. Imagine my surprise when I discovered how well this actually works! I have wavy hair, and I needed something to help with the growing out phase after a bad haircut. I use about an egg size dollop (my hair is chin length) and diffuse it dry. I cannot believe the definition in my waves. Plus, there is NO frizz at all. It has been a long time since a product alone has brought out my waves (usually I have to use a curling iron to help) and it has actually cut down on my styling time, which is a huge plus in my book. My hair hasn't looked this nice in a long time!

This is a terrific product. I use this when I decide to style my hair curly. I have wavy, thick hair, so some days I use a curling iron to wind my waves into curls. When I am through, I take a nickel sized dollup, rub in between my palms, and scrunch it into my curls. It defines my curls nicely, and keeps the frizzies away while adding extra shine. What I really love about this is that my hair doesn't dry out by the end of the day (I work in a very dry place); it maintains the style all day. I am very pleased and I highly recommend.

Well, I really love this color. It is definately MLBB; I have been looking for this for ages. I love the texture. While I wish it would last a little longer, the price is decent so it's ok if I use it a little more than normal. My only gripe: this is the second tube that I have purchased, and both times, the lipstick broke off at the base. This exact shade, twice now. It's a pain and it's the only reason this has only 4 stars from me instead of 5. Would I buy it again? Yes...but I'll have to buy a pot to mush it in so I can use it!!!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I have to say I'm surprised that there are as many negative comments out there about this product as there are. I am very happy with this mascara. I don't feel I need to curl my lashes before I use it! It doesn't clump, it defines my lashes nicely, it has a great rich black color, and it only requires one coat to get great coverage. I couldn't be happier with a mascara.

Powder -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Makeup

This is the best foundation I have ever tried for my skin. It makes me look absolutely flawless, works very well as an eyeshadow base, and covers my undereye circles well enough that I don't need a concealer (this alone is a miracle). I have slightly oily skin with an occassional hormonal breakout. The coverage is incredible, and I don't feel like I'm wearing anything when I wear this. I touch up once a day. I highly recommend. UPDATE 6/23/07: I can't say enough how much I love this foundation. It travels everywhere I go. As a busy mom, student, and full-time worker, there are days that I just don't have time to apply full makeup. I can swipe this and some blush and lipgloss on in 1 minute and I feel and look amazing. It's my miracle makeup!!

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

This is a wonderful mascara. Most mascaras clump or dry out my lashes, but this gives me wonderful definition with no excess glop. I usually apply 2-3 coats but can also get by nicely with only 1 when I'm in a hurry. Edited to say that this isn't the HG I thought it was. It's a nice mascara but I have found something I like even better, believe it or not.

Conditioner -Goldwell - Definition Color & Highlights Conditioner

Definately not worth the price. This conditioner did absolutely nothing for me. My hair has looked and felt dry since I've started using it, and my color looks really dull.

This really dried my hair out...Before I started using this I was using TreSemme shampoo for red/brunette hair and my hair looked really healthy, but since I've started using the Goldwell my hair has really dried out and looks dull. Oh well, back to square one!

I just bought this color based on the reviews. I have always loved the texture of this brand of lip gloss, but coupled with this color, it is fantabulous!!! I was afraid of it at first, but once I put it on my pale skin, it was the perfect wash of color. I think it is the perfect shade for pale skin, green eyes, and brown hair. I highly recommend this!!

I really love this product. I used it when I was pregnant on my belly along with pure cocoa butter, and I didn't get one strech mark!! I like the scent and recommend it to anyone who has dry skin. I put it on while my skin is still wet from the shower and pat myself dry. It's wonderful!!

Styling Products -Aveda - Control Paste

I love this product! I am currently growing my hair from a choppy crop, and I've had difficulty finding a product that won't weigh my hair down or pull out my waves. Control Paste is my HG - a little on my finger, rub it on my hands, and I scrunch it into my hair. Voila, waves that last all day! It takes 5 minutes to do my hair, I get tons of compliments - how often does that happen when you are growing your hair out? Highly recommend!!

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

I love the versatility of this product. I originally bought it for my 2 year old daughter at the recommendation of her pediatrician. She had a rash around her mouth and it helped it clear up very quickly! It is amazing with diaper rash as well. It is the only thing that can keep my heels from cracking, and believe me, I've tried everything. It is wonderful for chapped lips and dry skin. I don't think Vaseline compares because Aquaphor doesn't slip and wear away as quickly. Highly recommend Aquaphor!!!!
