I have the quince and simply love it! It feels so soft, moisturizing and never sticky. It's that sheer wash of pink that just gives that little kick to my natural every day pink. It pairs well with Stila's custom color pink blush or Bobbi Brown's Pale Pink or Peony Blushes. I've been using it for a few months now and know that if they ever discontinue it I'm going to go out and buy as much of the product as I can.
I bought this on a whim and man do I love it. I have kind of long naturally curly hair that I color. The previous reviewer is right. It won't moisturize but it's not made for that. I love a great protein treatment to give my hair have so much more volume and shine. I use it just once a week but have to use some sort of leave in detangler. It smells so nice so I typically use it before dates.
AMAZING product. I've used more expensive C serums but this one is the most potent for the price. I checked the ingredients on ewg.org/skindeep to find out it anything is particularly toxic and this is a very safe product. In fact all of their products (with the exception of their sunscreen) are nontoxic. I really appreciate the quality of their ingredients and there aren't that many of them compared to most store brands. This stuff made my skin absolutely glow! My skin is just getting smoother and smoother. I use this in the morning under the Hydra B5 moisturizer then my Cerave AM moisturizer. The C23 and Hydra are very watery and spread quite easily never building up so when I put my makeup over all of it it goes on very smooth without piling. I've not bought a bad product from this company and will become a lifelong customer. BTW they send the most generous samples for you to try.

I got this as a free sample with some glycolic acid (which is awesome). Anyway I let this sit in my drawer for a year until I had a professional peel. My skin was so irritated with any other moisturizer except aquaphor. I pulled this out and fell in love. After I healed from the peel I kept using it but by itself it isn't moisturizing enough. I find it works best in conjunction with my Cerave AM/PM when I apply the Moist Seal first. My skin is on the drier side.

I've finally found something to make my 2A waves curlier! I use this in conjunction with Aveda's Be Curly creme and blow dry my hair about 60% and I get great curls, even on top of my head where it really tends to lie straight. I also use some large clamps to help give me some lift and volume on top. I got the idea from curly hair solutions website. I didn't buy their clamps but just used some that I have and they work great. The spray was only $9 at Ulta but Fred Meyer's has it also. I would recommend this to any 2A girl who wants the most out of their waves and curls.
Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

If I could give this stuff 10 lippies I would. Of all the products I've reviewed this has been my favorite. I don't know how it doesn't have 100% rating. I started using this after my skin became incredibly sensitive and literally burned no matter what moisturizer I applied. I tried Dermalogica, Clinique, and Philosophy. After doing some research about others using Differin and having problems with sensitive skin I bought this since so many others were having such incredible success with this moisturizer not only relieving the burning but took care of of the dry skin the retenoids created. I fell so in love with the PM I bought the AM. These are my HG of moisturizers. They can never discontinue these two. When I use these two in conjunction with the Clarisonic Mia, my skin looks 10 years younger and absolutely radiant. I love my retenoids but I wouldn't love it without these moisturizers and Clarisonic. Seriously can't believe I'm in love with a drugstore moisturizer.
I've had a history with this. I first bought it late last summer. Tried it and liked it until it broke me out. I took it back to Sephora. 2nd story: I started on Differin, a prescription retinoid, and I had these dry flakies all over and rough patches of dry skin. It was ridiculous. After doing some research I bought Cerave which seriously calmed down my irritated, burning skin, and the second thing I did was buy the Mia. I had read that it really helped to exfoliate the flakies and dry patches. BOY does it ever! I use it in the shower before putting on makeup and my skin is free and clear of any flakies and looks incredibly healthy and young thanks to the retenoid. I'm 38 and my skin looks like its 10 years younger again. The only reason why it doesn't have 5 lippes is that it's such a ridiculous price!

I don't care for the packaging; wish it came with a pump. But otherwise it's an amazing product for my hormonal breakouts. When I start to feel a painful pimple coming up I clean my face as soon as I can and put this on and it makes it go away before it can turn into anything. My skin has been a little dry lately, winter weather, so I've been using this all over maybe every other night and it's just sort of been a miracle. I've used other salicylic acid zit remedy stuff before but most have never really worked well with me. I've used Tea Tree Oil and love it by itself but since it's combined withe acid in this, its a fricking miracle. There is something about the combination of these ingredients that just work for me. It's expensive but I'm going to keep buying.
If they ever stop making this I'll cry a river.
Scrubs -Mary Kay - Satin Hands & Body Buffing Cream
Jenls27 11/8/2010 12:01:00 PM
I just bought this a week ago from a friend who is now selling Mk. I had an ex bf who came through town and wanted to see me. Of course you have to get fixed up to see that old ex and right before I left to meet him I used the scrub and lotion on my hands and arms. While we were eating he had to reach out and touch my arm and hand and he couldn't believe how soft my skin was. He said that I always had soft skin but that they felt even softer now. I love the Satin Hands set. I'm sure you could get the same results elsewhere but I hate all of the sweet smells out there and the non fragrance set is just perfect for me.
I really am surprised this doesn't have 100% rating. A month or so ago I started getting these thick patches of flakes on my scalp and my hair started to come out at a much faster rate than normal. And I have really thin fine hair, losing as much hair as i was could be disastrous. I remember that by brother had used head and shoulders before and I detested the smell and had learned that it was super harsh for chemically treated hair so I didn't want to use it. Thanks to the reviews here for this stuff I went and bought the small bottle of 1%. I've used it 2 times. That's it, 2 x's, and my flakes and patches are gone! I wore a black sweater yesterday to test this out and I didn't get one single flake on it while I was out shopping. Today I'm going to go back to using my Nioxin shampoo I bought a few weeks ago hoping it would help. It didn't but I like it. I'll continue to use this one or two times a week as needed. BTW this shampoo doesn't stink like other dandruff shampoos. It actually smells kind of pretty. MUST use good conditioner afterward.
I'm on the search for the perfect mascara lately and after MUAers recommendations I bought this. It isn't smudging or flaking after I've been wearing it all day but it took me 5 minutes and a hundred coats on each lash to get it to thicken up. I'm off to try the next one tomorrow.
I really hated this mascara. I thought I would try it after one of the You Tube gurus claimed it as her favorite but it was the clumpiest mascara I've used in a long time. It didn't really thicken well nor lengthen. It was more hassle than help. I threw it away after the one use. Don't waste your money.
Lip Treatments -Banana Boat - SPF 30 sunscreen lip balm Aloe Vera with Vitamin E

Oh man I love this. It's difficult to find lip sunscreens with high SPF's but then this one actually smells yummy and tastes good. This will be a summer staple.
Powder -Make Up For Ever - Duo Mat Powder foundation
Jenls27 5/21/2009 2:21:00 PM
This is my HG in powder foundations. I love love love this. I use this in the summer on my combo skin with some concealer under my eyes and around the corners of my nose. It provides medium to full coverage and never looks cakey. I would suggest applying this lightly around the under eyes with a powder brush so it won't crease.
