Treatments -L'Oreal - Re-Nutrition Creme Care Leave In Conditioner

I have thick, long hair that tends to be dry on the ends. Applying this while hair is damp softens my hair but adding a little extra to ends when my hair is dry makes it positively silky. I'm not crazy over the smell (smells a little manly to me?) but it's a subtle scent & doesn't last long. I'll definitely repurchase.
Lip Treatments -Cover Girl - NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Clay

The color looks pretty in the tube...a pinky nude with a little shimmer. Once applied, it's a whole different story. It isn't just shimmery, it's full on frosty. Also, the taste is just horrid. It tastes & smells like well, clay. I don't find that it moisturizes for very long either. Definitely won't repurchase.
I am always on the hunt for the perfect tinted lip balm. I did not like the older version of this tinted balm but the new one is outstanding. Smooth application, perfect YLBB color (on me), doesn't wear off weirdly & has a pleasant taste. I'll definitely be checking out other colors.
This really does dry quickly but it doesn't keep my manicure looking good for long. Within the day, my polish is peeling off like a mofo. Will not repurchase.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

After purchasing this lip balm in rose (and loving it so much), I had to try the untinted version. I just moved to Canada & my lips are constantly dry so a good, moisturizing lip balm is vital. After applying this, my lips still feel moisturized hours later. It's expensive stuff but really worth it, imo.

I am a tinted balm fanatic & this one does not disappoint. The price deterred me at first but after receiving a gift card for xmas, how could I resist? It imparts a healthy, rosey color to my pigmented lips & it's one of the more moisturizing tinted balms I own. I don't find that it has any taste & the scent (slightly lemony) is faint, which I like. Pricey but worth it.
Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous in Blushing Nude (New for Fall '08)

I have always thought that I couldn't pull off nude lips but this one has changed my opinion. It's the perfect ylbb nude-pink color on my pigmented lips & it's moisturzing enough to not require balm underneath. It does have a very slight shimmer to it which I wasn't looking for but it's subtle enough to be tolerable. Well worth the money, imo.
I've been on the hunt for animal cruelty free make-up & Almay does not test on animals. Unfortunately, that's the best thing about this mascara. It mostly just clumped on me like a mofo & when I could get it to NOT clump, it was too natural a look for my liking. I also don't like the fat tube/thin wand ratio but that's just me. I'll keep hunting.
Mascara -Max Factor - Lash Perfection Volume Couture [DISCONTINUED]

This is the best of the rubber bristle wand type mascaras, imo. No clumping,or smudging & it's a great, dark, inky black. HG status here!
Masks -DDF - Sulfur Therapeutic Mask [DISCONTINUED]

I do like this as a spot treatment but not as a mask. It seems to make me MORE oily after use, not less oily! Applied on a pimple overnight, it really does seem to work. It's an expensive spot treatment though so I don't think I will repurchase.
Gels/Soaps -Sephora - Indulgences - Triple Layer Cake Hair & Body Wash
JenM7 12/27/2006 8:09:00 PM
This is the best smelling shower gel I have ever used. It's like yellow cake with a little honey...very light though. Not overly sweet. I wish Sephora could keep it in stock!
Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Translucent Powder
JenM7 10/12/2006 10:23:00 AM
This is a really nice product in really crappy packaging. The powder is light & seems to help control my oily t zone. I've been using it for a little over a week & it hasn't broken me out. The compact itself feels like it's going to fall apart at any second. I'll definitely repurchase though. Good powder for the price.
Scrubs -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub
JenM7 7/7/2006 2:31:00 PM
I so desperately wanted to like this because my beloved Sage grains are so expensive. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me. It didn't break me out but it left my skin pretty dry & I'm on the oily side to begin with. The menthol was nice...unless you get it near your eyes. It doesn't have enough scrubby things in it for my liking either.
Great conditioner for my wavy, dry hair. It's fairly moisturizing but doesn't weigh my hair down at all. It seems to reduce my frizz a bit, too...that's quite a feat. I'm stocking up on this one. ***EDIT*** After a month of use, this is building up in my hair something fierce.
This is the 1st Color Juice gloss I have tried. I love the color...a deep berry stain (no shimmer) with decent staying power for a gloss. The fruity scent isn't overpowering. My only complaint is I don't love the rounded tip applicator. A slanted tip would be so much easier. I love this color enough to repurchase though.
