This might be good for gals that have light colored lashes but it's barely noticeable on my dark brown lashes. I was hoping for a more shocking purple and this is lavender. Not bad but not good either....

I really like this mascara. I agree that it doesn't give a lot of volume but it does lengthen well and, oddly enough, I find that it actually lifts my lashes (almost as well as Le Grand Curl used to...RIP). I haven't tried curling my lashes beforehand to see what happens but, so far I haven't needed to because it gives such lift on it's own!

Wow! What a stunning disappointment this turned out to be! The first time I used it I layered the mascara on right after the primer and wasn't impressed at all so, the second time I let the primer dry before putting on the mascara only to get a very slight improvement. So, try, try again I always say! The third time I applied 2 coats of the primer and 2 coats of the mascara letting them all dry between coats. This got me the best effect but still not any better than L'Oreal Voluminous. Over-all, if I have to apply 4 coats and wait for each coat to dry it's not worth it. As for curl, this didn't even give me lift, let alone curl! As one previous reviewer stated: RIP L'Oreal Le Grand Curl :(

Brows -Revlon - Brow Fantasy

After buying 3 other dark brown eyebrow pencils I have finally found THE ONE for me! All the other pencils were too reddish brown but the Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown is perfect, no hint of red, just a nice dark brown! I use both ends and haven't had any problems with the gel flaking or turning white on me (but I don't glob it on my brows, I just swipe on very lightly just to hold them in place). Highly recommended!!

Lipstick -Revlon - Renewist Lip Color [DISCONTINUED]

I am loving this lipstick! The Naturally Revealing is a very nice, neutral tawny pink which compliments my fair skin nicely. This is a great daytime work color because it doesn't look like I'm wearing lipstick and the color lasts longer than many other lipsticks I've tried. I also really like the moisturizing core which seems to be pretty effective. As for the packaging, I don't mind the fact that it's clear, I guess those things just don't bother me!

Eyes -Beauticontrol - Shadow Control Cremes

I have oily lids so shadow always creases on me after a few hours and is pretty much gone by the end of the day, not with this stuff! I've even gone to bed (i.e. passed out after the bar) on occasion without taking off my makeup and my eyes are still perfectly done in the morning. Highly recommended!

I can honestly say that this is the worst cosmetic purchase I've ever made! I tried this with several different types of pressed shadows (matte, shimmers etc) and when it failed to work with those I even tried it with loose shadow and had the same non-existent results. Into the trash it goes along with the $3 I wasted on this crap.

This mascara does nothing other than tinting my lashes black. I get barely any fullness, no noticeable lengthening and no curl or lift what so ever. Wouldn't even contemplate buying this stuff again!

I work at a veterinary hospital and therefore have to wash my hands about a bajillion times a day. Needless to say my nails/cuticles were not in the best shape. I had weak, thin nails that peeled and the worse cuticles. I have tried all the Sally Hansen products and haven't found a single one that actually stopped my nails from peeling. I received a Burt's Bees sampler about 2 weeks ago and started using this cuticle cream alone (bare nails) and I LOVE it! Finally my dry, cracked cuticles are starting to heal and my nails are actually feeling stronger, more healthy and (the best part) they're getting longer!

Misc Beauty Tools -Avon - Heated Eyelash Curler

I feel like I got the short end of the stick with this one. Based on (almost) everyone else's good reviews I decided to buy this curler (I hate the metal ones, I always end up pinching myself). I must say though, after leaving it on my lashes for almost 45 seconds I still noticed very little curl. I decided to turn it off and let it cool and then I tried it on the other eye ...same amount of curl whether it was turned on or off! I'm not sure if mine is heating up properly or what (the silicone pad is turning white which is the sign that it is heated up and ready to use but I feel very little warmth from it at all). I did like the fact that I could get right at the lash line and not pinch myself.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Hard as Wraps - Acrylic Gel

I have very thin, weak, peely nails so I thought this would be a great product for me....not so much. It peels off in less than 24 hours and my nails aren't much stronger when it's on. I now use it only on my toes and I really like it as a base coat on my toes because it fills out the ridges nicely and makes them al little stronger.

I am totally hooked on Milani shadows. I have 4 colors now and each is just as dramatic as the others, the colors are beautiful and they LAST! I pair this with Milani Shadow in 'Flare' and it is super dramatic.
