Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Foaming Facial Cleanser - Sensitive Skin

Since the weather has gotten colder, my daughter's hands have become very dry and itchy after washing them with handsoap. She started using this product when washing her hands and would apply lotion afterwards, and within a couple of days, her little hands were healed. If you're suffering from dry hands or dry allover skin, try using this cleanser. It's great.
Surprisingly, I think the Finesse line of shampoos and conditioners may be my all-time favorite. I have fine, thin, colored, wavy hair, and it gets weighted and tangled easily. Finesse Volumizing Shampoo makes my hair shiny, bouncy and soft, and it has noticeable swing and movement during the day. No frizzies, tangles, or build-up here, and I shampoo every day. Smells great, lots of lather, and dirt cheap. The only caveat with this shampoo is that during the winter, using this and the Volumizing Conditioner gives my hair static, so I use the Color Care Conditioner with this shampoo, or the Color Care Shampoo with Volumizing Conditioner, and the static lessens. A very small quibble, as I have static during the winter with every product line. All in all, I'm so happy to have found perfect haircare, and for so cheap. Every day is an awesome hair day since I've started using this line.
I love this powder and use it every day. It doesn't change the color of my skin or foundation, and it makes my skin satiny, not dry and matte. I prefer it to the Sonia Kashuk I used to use. Love the price, too. Though I like the packaging, I can see how it can be inconvenient. I just transferred some powder into a small Sephora sifter. Problem solved. :) I'd recommend this powder to anybody.
I'm not sure what to make of this shampoo. It's got both good and bad points, the good being that it doesn't weigh down or dry my hair in the least, and it leaves my hair soft, shiny, full, and unfrizzy. However, it does not lather well at all, and this would be okay, except I think it doesn't cleanse my scalp because I feel like I've been getting buildup. I'll use up the sample bottle I have, and I'll even use them for travel, but I think I need something with a bit more lather on a regular basis. Too bad--it *did* make my hair look very nice. I'll try using a regular shampoo once a week for now and see if that helps.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Turbo Boost Waterproof

I picked this up because I was out of Lash Discovery and wanted a mascara that was quick to apply but still added volume and definition to my lashes. Volum Express Turbo has proven very effective and quick, and I now use it every day. It adds volume and strong color, like I wanted, but it doesn't lengthen dramatically. However, I have naturally long lashes, so this isn't much of a problem. The only quibble I have with this mascara is that it's slightly dry, and I'm sure I'll have to buy a new tube soon. But it doesn't flake or smudge, so maybe the dryness prevents those nuisances. I'd recommend this mascara to anybody who wants dramatic lashes in a hurry.
I've started wearing this perfume again lately, and I still find it as wonderful as I did the day I bought it. It's fruity and sweet without being thin and sharp. It has a mellow complexity that's both comforting and sophisticated. One of my coworkers commented on how nice my perfume was today, so I guess that means others like it, too. :)
Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum

I had been using Biosilk for a while, but my stylist uses Super Skinny, so I decided to pick up a bottle when I was out. I wish I had known how good this stuff was a long time ago. My hair is so much smoother, sleeker, and softer after using this serum, and it also takes less time to dry and straighten. I've got fine, thin, wavy hair that is colored, and I blowdry and flatiron it almost every day. With Super Skinny, the lines of my haircut look great, and my hair is glassy, never oily. This may be one of the very best hair products I've ever used.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Schick Intuition razor
JeenatheeRawks 8/25/2005 2:50:00 PM
This has been such a big help. I broke my ankle a while back, and since then, it's been difficult to keep my balance while shaving in the shower. The Intuition speeds up the process a lot, and I no longer worry about falling over. However, for some reason, my legs burn quite a bit right after I shave with this razor. It's not razor burn, because I get no redness or swelling. It feels like a chemical irritation. The discomfort goes away after a few minutes, but I'd prefer no pain, thanks. I'll keep using the Intuition because I'm either too lazy or rushed to lather and shave, and one blade has lasted me at least 3 shaves, and will probably last 5 or 6, but I can see why some people would dislike this product.
I bought this lipstick not only for the color, but because I couldn't resist the name, "Darcy." Anyway, the shade is a metallic plum that is unlike any of my other lipsticks, and the unique texture makes the color look really dense and reflective if the lipstick is applied heavily. This is the standout quality of Darcy, I think, because the finish isn't sparkly or glossy. It's more of a true metallic shine. I like the creaminess and coverage of Darcy, but I think the color would suit a deeper skintone better than it suits my fair complexion. Also, Stila lipsticks have a noticeable lanolin smell which may put some people off. I'm happy with my purchase, overall, and use this shade often.
I have been waiting for these to come out so that I could finally tote 4 MAC shadows at a time in my purse. The pots are a little larger than MAC pans, but they work just fine. I'll probably get more to help organize my huge collection of shadows.
I've had this shadow for a while, and I hadn't been using it because I thought it was too cutesy for work. However, I've started wearing it on my lids with Vex layered over it to take down some of the color of the shade, and it's very pretty and work-appropriate. I also don't need a shadow base to make this last through the day. I'd recommend this shade to anyone with cooler tones in their skin.
I love this eyeshadow brush. It has bevelled bristles that come to a central, domed point, and it's great for both the immediate lid and the crease. The bristles are firm, but gentle, so the brush picks up shadow from MAC shadows that have gotten a bit hard. I now use this brush alone, rather than using the two or three eyeshadow brushes I used on a daily basis. This one does the job on its own.
This concealer is really effective. I use the lightest shade, and it blends easily, dries evenly, and has a long lasting matte finish. I also love the packaging--it's more convenient and sanitary than a pot or wand. The price is also reasonable compared to other higher-end brands, and since a little goes a long way, one tube will last forever. I wish I had known about Advanced Concealer sooner. I would have started using it after my beloved Shu Mark Cealer was discontinued.
The concept of this product is pretty good, but every time I use it, I break out, and I think it made my skin itch, too. I've given up on trying to get it to work. I'm sticking with my Oil of Olay.
When I saw this, I had to get it. The packaging was attractive, and I needed a clear mascara for my brows. Luckily, the actual product is very effective, and unlike other clear mascaras I've used, it has good hold and doesn't flake after a few hours. It also acts as a great mascara base, smoothing and defining lashes in preparation for colored mascara. I'd recommend this to anyone as a simple, effective beauty staple.
