Liquid -MAC - Mineralize Moisture SPF 15

Went to the MAC counter to check out this counter after I saw a rave review by Wayne Gross Utube. So far I love this new product. It is definately for those of us who have normal to dry skin. It has a beautiful soft glow and does difuse fine lines. The BA finished her application on me with Mineralize powder (but for me it made it look to "made up". Therefore; it does have a little tranfer, and it doesn't last quite all day, So I took off one lippie. All in all though for now..because it's beautiful, easy and oh so quick to apply and blend, it looks just like my own skin only better...and it has SPF.....it has to replace my LaBella Donna as my new HG foundation. :)

I seldom write very negative reviews, but this was the absolute worst product I have ever used EVER! It was yellow, sallow, and make every line in my face appear more like a huge crator. OMG, I couldn't wash it off quick enough. I purchased a whole kit of this line of Huttons producs, and through them all in the garbage. It wasn't enough worth the $$ for me to pay the shipping back to the company for the refund. I was so surprised because I love the original Disc.

I have kind of moved on from this moisturizer, but I still think it's one of the best out there. It's the moisturizer of choice that I always make sure my aging mother (now 76) has on her dressing table at all times. I have her wear this as her every day moisturizer and it keeps her skin soft and subtle. And this is not easy since she has had chemo more than once in her life. I have to give it five lippies. As for the packaging. I'm not huge in favor of jars. But I have my mom did a cosmetic spatula in the jar instead of fingers. Works great.

I watched the in fo mercial several times for this product b4 I committed to the high price and orderd it. I figured "hey I can return it it I don't like it". Let me admit: I am kind of addicted to exfoliation. So I will kind of try anything at least once. While I don't think this product is equal to a chemical peel, or professional diamond microderm. (I've had both) I do think it does a good job of effective exfoliation. And it's handy because you do it at home. Some times my life gets to busy to get to the med spa. I do find the when I use this method on a very regular basis. My skin looks awake and refreshed. I took a lippie off because like other reviewers have said: It doesn't work that well around the nose. Even the small tip is just not designed for the specific needs around the nose. And where do we need good exfoliation more that the nose...

Mascara -Clinique - Naturally Glossy Mascara

I can't beleive that I have never written a review for this product. It's been my HG mascara for years. I agree with the over reviews I don't know how it would work for short or thin lashes. Mine are long and thick (from latise), but that's another review lol. My lashes as most get bleached out on the ends from sun so if I don't have them tinted I wear this mascasa just to make them look extra black and lush. This mascara never flakes, clumps, or smudges. What more could you ask for. It's literally one of those products that I don't even ask the price, I just buy a couple when clinic is in gwp. It last until the next gift comes out.

Other -Aveda - Energizing Composition

I recently was going in for surgery. They had to shave my head. My hairdresser told me that this little product was a must have to keep my freshly shaved head looking good. He said that I could also use it on my skin if I was feeling dry. First of all I LOVED the smell. So clean and fresh and awake. After surgery I was just to sick and tired to do all of my regular daily maitenance so after they did my shower and shampoo I would rub this all over my head /face/neck and chest. Thats about all I could reach. Amazingly enoug h my skin just always felt hydrated and never oily. Person after person in the hospital commented on how my skin looked so nice. This product is definatley a keeper in my books. Now that I'm almost all better and my hair is coming back, I continue to use it immediately after I shave. I've head it can also be used as a shave oil. Haven't tried that yet, but I'll get it would be nice.

Styling Products -Redken - 15 Spray Starch Heat Memory Styler

I alwayus this product before I do an updo for a bride or special event. Been using this for a few years now. Hope they never discontinue. I does kind of have a strange smell when it comes out of the bottle but that goes away really quickly. It sets hair without being sticky. Great Product, as with most Redken products. It does what it says.

I like this procuct. I do think it is has a learning curve. It can look like a streak of light on your face if it's not blended out. I still haven't found exactly the brush that I want to use with this procuct. But it's so pretty that I'm dedicated to making it work.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design Eyeshadow in Mochaccino

I did get this quad as a GWP when I purchased a couple of lancome foaming cleansers. I have a dear friend who so beautiful but doesn't have a lot of $$ to spend on any kind of make up let alone high end. I gave this to her with a little lesson on how to apply it. Later I got a wonderful thank you card from her saying that she had so many compliments on how beautful her eyes were when she wore this quad. So going on that I'm going to give this a thumbs up.

Loose Powders -Ben Nye - Neutral Set translucent powder

When I was a make up artist at Walt Disney Entertainment stocked this powder in every color/shage that we could get. So this product is old school to me. Males, females, stage, film, society ....it works for every application. It layers beautifully as well. Always a staple in my kit. Love love love, did I say love it.

Skincare - Face -Jack Black - Eye Balm

Not a fan. I can't tell that this runny, eye balm does anything at all for my eye area. Bought it because I lovTe all of the other products by Jack Black, just didn't work for me. But to be fair I do expect my eye cream to work miracles. Truth is the only thing that REALLY WORKS for the crows feet is Botox.

I'm still on the fence about this product. I have to admit that my favorite lip stuff of all time is vaseline. I keep trying other things to find a HG, but so far haven't found it. Having said that. The thing that I like the most about this product is the packaging. It's small, fits in your pocket, and you are very in control of how much you dispense. You can put it on anywhere without looking at what you are doing. It feels quite nice as it goes on, and all of them smell really nice too. Do I think it does a lot for your lips ....No...but it's got enough other good qualities that I will always have a few of them around.

Skincare -Jack Black - Double Duty Moisturizer SPF 20

I use this in the morning as my first moisturizer. It brightenes my skin tone and have never broken me out. It's not heavy. So sometimes I have to use another moisturizer after this has kind of sunk in to my skin. (but I also live in the freakin dry deserts of UT). I just notice if I try to skin this step my skin doesn't look quite as young and glowing. So yes I will continue to pay the Jack Black high price for this product.

Been using this since December 2011. It's my morning facial scrub (in the shower because I like the steam). This products seems to prep my skin for a extra smooth shave. It is expensive. But I only use about a pea size to cover my entire face. Love the super clean scent as well. My skin looks smooth, glowing, and polished. Will re-purchase.

Like this product. It does what it promises. It cleans my skin, and it has a wonderful fresh clean scent. I've been using this along with several products from this line since December 2011, and my skin looks fresh, clean, and glowing. I wouldl think the scent would appeal more to men (who is the target market for this line, but I don't think it's to harsh for ladies. It's just good product. On the expensive side. But I'm a junkie ..So I will pay the price.
