Treatments (Eye) -Cosmedicine - Eye Specialist

I'm only on my 4th day but wanted to say that I'm pretty satisfied. The normal price of this about $45 is way to expensive but I got it for $23 which I feel is very worthwhile. I'm really dry and sensitive. I'm 30 so I don't have tons of aging but it has started. I have a few lines and I have a baby so I'm often tired leading to "saggy" eyes. I have circles, not horrible but just started noticing they are getting worse. I like this cream alot, so far. It's not too rich, but it's very moisturizing. And I feel like it really lasts on my skin. It absorbs super quick and just really feels nice, not greasy at all. I haven't noticed an appearance change in my lines or dark circles but my eyes definitely feel much better and less puffy and I've only used 4 days so far. I guess I'm primarily hoping this will prevent more aging and if it helps with the tiredness (circles and puffiness) it's a bonus. I would buy again, if I got a sale.

Moisturizers -Cosmedicine - Hydra Healer Maximum Strength Moisture Cream
JayBay714 11/10/2010 10:58:00 PM
I am dry and very sensitive and this is probably the best moisturizer ever for my skin. My mom bought it for me and it's truly amazing. It has really repaired my skin and made it feel so nice and smooth. It's very soothing and moisturizing and goes on so nicely....not too thin not too thick. It's perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend you try this if your very dry/sensitive. I would buy it again but it's very pricey. I've found an alternative that costs about 40% less that does ok. I'd like to splurge on this but I can't right now.

Conditioner -L'Oreal - Everpure smooth conditioner
JayBay714 12/18/2009 10:12:00 PM
I bought this w the same type shampoo (see review). I am satisfied. I have only used it twice so far and will edit if my opinion changes but for less than $6 this is worth every penny. After 2 uses my hair is softer and slightly less frizzy. I have a lot of thick hair so products that weigh hair down can keep me from looking like a chia pet. So far I am pleased. This may not be so good for someone with thin and/or oily hair but for my thick coarse hair I am thrilled.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverPure Smoothing Shampoo
JayBay714 12/18/2009 9:59:00 PM
I only used this twice so far but for the price I am happy. I paid $5.25 each for shampoo and conditioner. My hair is softer already and slightly less frizzy. If I paid more like $15 a bottle I would expect greater results of course but for under $6 this is a good product. Granted its only been used twice but my hair feels healthier so I'm happy. I have extremely thick, dry curly hair that is hard to tame. So even though the improvement has only been slight so far for this price its worth every penny. Keep in mind my hair is big- I have tons of it and its puffy if u will. I like something that weighs my roots down so I don't look like I have a big head! I wash my hair 3 times a week and I could prob get by w twice that's how dry I am. I also like that its sulfate free and inexpensive and I'm not sure about the vegan thing but I guess that's not bad either. If my opinion changes after more use I will edit.

Treatments (Eye) -Dermalogica - Multivitamin power firm for eye and liparea
JayBay714 12/15/2009 10:15:00 AM
I will start by saying I'm 30 so I know I am on the young side to see major differences! However I do like this for my age. It smells like berry which I love. Its very moisturizing and it seems like my make up goes on smoother and lasts longer when I use this. So that's a nice benefit. I trust that it will help my skin with aging?? But I'm just entering that aging phase now so I really can't be sure. I wish this had something in it to help with puffiness and circles!! I may not be aging too much yet but I have a toddler so sleep is a precious commodity and something to help with puff or circles would be a 5 lippy!!

Lip Treatments -Dermalogica - Climate Control Lip Treatment
JayBay714 12/15/2009 10:00:00 AM
I got a small sample of this in a kit. I liked it but it was very small so I bought a full sized version so I could really try it. I believe I paid about $8 Its nice feels good on lips and feels lightly moisturizing and I have used it about 3 weeks now. It does what it should however I feel that I can get the same results for a quarter of the price. I think you are paying for the name here! I'm a huge dermalogica fan but this falls short for the price.

Treatments -Dermalogica - Multivitamin Hand and Nail Cream
JayBay714 12/15/2009 9:51:00 AM
This hand cream is amazing!! It really moisturizes my dry hands. I wash a lot and use anti bac gels cuz I have a toddler so my hands are very dry and this really helps. This also makes my nails harder and they grow faster. My hands look sooo much better since I started using this. Normally I use at bed time so it can really sink in! Its very expensive for hand cream but u can find good deals for it online.

Cleansers -Dermalogica - Ultra Calming Cleanser
JayBay714 7/18/2009 2:48:00 PM
I always believed I had super dry skin. It turns out I'm super sensitive though which leads to the irritation that makes ny skin look awful and flaky and feel so dry and sometimes itchy. I've used Ultra Calming for 2 weeks now and it is my saviour! I'm soooo glad the facial lady thought to have me try the sensitive line! I use it with barrier repair and soothing protection spray and my skin has truly never looked better. My mom (who has bought me every product out there as a teen) can't believe she only bought me stuff for ultra dry skin all that time. All along what I needed was sensitive!! I wear Bare Essentuals and Ultra Calming removes it with no problem. Maybe it would be too gentle for harsher make ups but worjs perfect for me. My face is so even now with these 3 products, I don't have any more redness. I think I have mild rosacea because I did get redness but no more. My skin feels so goo dand not a single flake!!

Toners -Dermalogica - Soothing Protection Spray
JayBay714 6/27/2009 10:02:00 PM
I love this!! I was using multi active toner but my skin was getting a bit red... so now I'm using this twice a day. My skin is 30% less red. (I took pics with my digital camera and it is noticeable after 2 nights). I hope it gets even better after a week or so. EDIT icannot go without this!!! It calms my skin soo much and I use it at least twice a day. I carry the small bottle in my purse! Toner never seemed to do anything for me and I always felt it wasn't needed! Normally I agree but this isn't a normal toner. I don't really know why they call it that. This is so moisturizing and calming! Definitely soothing like the name implies. My skin feels so nice and conditioned now. The spray application is soooo easy love that too!! I don't notice a smell after maybe 3 or 4 seconds and this doesn't bother my eyes or contact lenses at all as others have warned. I shut my eyes gently and I'm fine. I just wish they could make it a little more affordable! This line is quite pricey but u can find good deals online and its worth the money if it works. And it works if u use daily and take care of ur skin. If u slack and skip cleanings you won't get the full benefit!!

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Barrier Repair
JayBay714 6/27/2009 9:51:00 PM
This stuff is amazing!! I have always thought I have extremely dry skin but I got a facial and the specialist said I'm actually hyper sensitive, and that could be making my skin seem drier. I have loved many Dermalogica products so I bough a $35 sensitive kit to try. WOW an I glad I did. The kit lasted me a few weeks so it was well worth the money.... but to buy each item individually in full size is quite expensive. I wish they would do full size kits at a discount. Anyway the lady told me to use this at night and intensive moisture balance in the day and it has worked very well for me. My redness has decreased probably about 30% which is better than before. I use with soothing protection spray at night. EDIT I'm now just using intensive moisture balance. Barrier repair isn't necessary. It just sits on my skin like a "barrier". Its not absorbed so I don't think it really helps condition my skin at all. Since I still have about half a tube left I do apply this to a dry spots I may get from the cold and wind. It feels protective like petroleum jelly would be but I really don't think this is a true moisturizer. I do love the rest of the sensitive line though.

Scrubs -Dermalogica - AGE Smart multivitamin thermafoliant
JayBay714 6/15/2009 6:14:00 PM
I almost gave this a 4 but I don't want to ruin the 100% for a minor concern!! I have ultra sensitive and dry skin, and this is a tad rough for me while I'm massaging it into my face. I think it's the grit and the heat that don't mesh well with my very sensitized face. That said, I get red for about an hour or 2 after I use this product. HOWEVER I love it and wish I could bath in it. It does such a nice job and my skin looks and feel so good the next day. I use it once a week at night because it does turn me all red but by the time I wake up I have a whole new face. But for any of you who are really sensitive you may have the same redness issue.... but use it two or three times so your skin can acclimate a bit Within a month you will love it!!

Fragrances -Moschino - I Love Love
JayBay714 1/3/2008 2:46:00 PM
I'm on my 2nd bottle. This is one of my top 5 fave perfumes! It reminds me alot of Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue if you know that scent. It's a nice clean and citrusy smell in my opinion and the price is very reasonable. I just got a big bottle for $30!

Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Young Sexy Lovely
JayBay714 1/3/2008 2:44:00 PM
This was a xmas gift, so I've only worn it 3 times so far but I'm happy. I think the name says it all.....the scent is young, sexy and lovely. I'm 27 and I don't think it's too young smelling for me. It's sweet and flowery, definite a very feminine smell. This will always get mixed reviews because we all react differently to different scents. It's very personal and everyone has different body chemistry. I'd recommend getting a sample from Sephora...wear it two or three times and then buy it of you like it. The other scents I enjoy are Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Mosscino I Love Love, Calvin Klein Eternity Summer, and Victoria Secret Heavenly..... so if you like those maybe you too would like YSL but then again it's very hard to pick perfumes for people!

Lip Gloss -Philosophy - Flavored Lip Shine Collection
JayBay714 1/3/2008 2:36:00 PM
I have a few of these. My faces are creanberry and raspberry sorbet. They make my lips moisturized and plumped with just a bit of color and sparkle. The scents/tastes are amazing esoecially compared to other brands. I like the slanted tip-- it prevents clogs and goes on even for me. I will continue to buy as needed!!

Moisturizers -Philosophy - when hope is not enough replenishing cream
JayBay714 1/3/2008 1:39:00 PM
This stuff is amazing!! I'm on my second week of it now and it does wonders for my skin. I use it at night only, I use Hope in a Jar for dry/sensitive skin in the morning. I have used this both ways- putting it directly on my face and rubing it between my fingers and patting it on and it works well for me either way. If you do put it right on your face-- you do have to rub it in longer because it's a heavy cream. It is scented but to me it just smells like a nice clean smell so it's not offensive at all. I only notice the scent for like 2 minutes anyway. I have been a faithful philosophy user and after using this product I can finally say I have make up optional skin. I am really dry and it's cold and windy lately, where I live and this product does me proud. It really just makes my face so smooth and even in color and feel. I love touching my face now-- though I try not to!! It was $48 for 2 oz but it will really last. It will definitely last much longer than 2 oz of moisturizer because you really don't have to use alot at all. A little goes a long way. I'm 27, so I'm not sure about the anto aging benefits yet but I'm sure it can't hurt. I will recommend this any chance I get! Update-- after having a baby.... Philosophy products aren't as good for me as they once were. It must be the hormones. This product caused some irritation about 2 weeks post partum for me so I stopped using. I used it for awhile though and I don't think it's as beneficial as I thought it was so I adjusted my rating.
