Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Lineur Intense liquid liner - brush tip

I have nooo idea what the reviewer below me is talking about with the smudging and how it can't make a line line! This liner is the best I have ever used woohoo! Pros: -DOESN'T SMUDGE! Pretty much all eyeliners I have ever tried will smudge on me, it's ridiculous! I'm Asian so when I blink my eyelids really touches a lot of my bottom lids and eyes liners usually transfers instantly. Which really sucks I end up with severe panda eyes at the end of the day! I pretty much gave up hope. Why this one works so well is that the formula when dried flakes off instead of rubs off. -EASY TO APPLY. You CAN make a thin line with this liner all you have to do is remove excess from the brush making the brush thinner to create a thinner line. - SO EASY TO REMOVE. You don't need a makeup remover just water and you can gently rub it off with fingers, so simple! -DOESN'T FADE. As long as you don't touch it of course, but very easy to reapply Cons: -Rubs off at my outer corners cuz that part of my eye is kind of oily so it does rub off. But it has gone farther for me than any other eyeliners I've tried so I definitely recommend. Gosh I love this eye liner so much! HG product for sure.

Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Sunblock Lotion SPF 60+
rated 1 of 5
Jasminion 4/16/2013 11:11:00 PM

THIS SUNBLOCK SUCKS, here's why: 1- nasty sunblock smell (I'm guess only natural has this, got it) 2- Doesn't blend in properly. White streaks everywhere if I'm not careful. If it gets into your hairline it becomes way harder. 3- cakes up on your face, it joins with my moisturizer or something and I start seeing eraser like shreds on my face. 4- heavy white cast. Horrible. I returned it and bought the neutrogena clear face one. That one is awesome.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum
rated 4 of 5

I have Asian eyelids that smudges with every eyeliner out there. This is the only that barely smudges (I think the brown smudges more than the black). On my lucky days there will be no smudging. Definitely my go-to eyeliner. Some notes: -It dries very quickly so you are forced to apply as fast as you can, or else it will tend to get into a goopy mess. -Not sure about the lash boosting, but I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose since I personally don't really see a difference in my lashes plus I really can't imagine this doing anything for the lashes since it does dry so quickly. -Extremely easy to remove when washing my face, but stays on throughout the day. This part is super AWESOME. :) -I got in one in brown and black, I think the brown is pretty dark that it looks like black. If you don't go over it again, it will look like a transparent dark brown, which is pointless too. -In short, awesome eyeliner for other Asian folks that have the same problems with smudging like me out there. Sometimes CVS/drugstores will have deals on PF products so be on the look out for that and stock up.

BB Cream -Etude - Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream
rated 5 of 5
Jasminion 4/29/2012 6:14:00 PM

I have the one in shade 3. Anyways In short: this Etude House precious mineral BB cream is AWESOME! Here's why: -Thin and watery but has high coverage. 1-2 layers and my red/brown acne scars are no where in sight. -Super natural looking! My friend actually told me she noticed my acne is gone when in reality the scars are just covered under this BB cream. Some notes: -Shade 3 is actually a little dark on my hand than on my face, to make sure it looks natural apply some on the neck but careful not to get it on the clothes. -There's a light scent to it, when you apply it it disappears. -Even though it says "Mineral" on the name there are no minerals in it, which breaks me out. It is one of the cheaper BB creams out there on ebay, definitely worth a try!! Between this and Missha M Perfect cover (which I like a lot too) I choose this one!

Treatments -Beyond The Zone - Last Call Hair Masque
rated 2 of 5
Jasminion 4/29/2012 5:42:00 PM

I have damaged hair on places where I bleached it, if I wash my hair without conditioner it would be hell to comb it into place. I bought this hoping to bring normality back into my hair as an extra boost in conjunction to just conditioning. Honestly, I don't notice any difference at all in the softness of my hair which conditioning does the job just fine. If even there was a slight improvement immediately after using last call (which was difficult notice), the effects do not last long. (I have thick Asian hair if that helps)

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
rated 1 of 5
Jasminion 4/18/2011 5:11:00 PM

Did you know there is MINERAL OIL in this thing? Honestly, what are people at clinique thinking? My problem with mineral oil is not that it breaks some people out, is that its a really cheap product to use in moisturizers, which I think makes this a huge rip off. I mean with 24 bucks you can buy more than one moisturizer at the drug stores minus the mineral oil ingredient. I have to praise clinique for fooling the public for so long and selling this product based on the hype. Keeping the list of ingredients hidden only in certain places. If you are smart and don't want to be rip off, keep searching for another moisturizer.

Pressed Powders -E.L.F. - Complexion Perfection
rated 2 of 5
Jasminion 9/13/2010 2:05:00 AM

I don't really understand products like this that claim to even out your skin tone, I think the only products that really do that are foundation, tinted moisturizers, and concealers. This is just like putting a white powder on your face. If you have redness from acne this will do close to nothing to help minimize it. I guess the only purpose I see for it is that it adsorbs the oils on your face. I really like the packaging though. Even though its a cheap product, the packaging is very sturdy and sleek. I also like that it comes with a mirror.

Moisturizers -First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Cream
rated 4 of 5
Jasminion 9/13/2010 1:46:00 AM

This moisturizer is really rich and it really hydrates your skin. I wanted to use it to calm my skin, but the problem is mild so I don't really see a difference. Other than that it absorbs pretty quick and it leaves your skin pretty soft. One thing is I'm not really a fan or jar packaging, just because sometimes it can be unsanitary. Some people use a brush to apply jar products, but wont the product be contaminated if the brush touches your face and then the product anyway? I wish companies would just use packaging that came with a pump that can pump with thick products.

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream
rated 4 of 5
Jasminion 9/13/2010 1:39:00 AM

I don't really like the smell, it sorta smells like baby powder of sorts. I've used the skinfood aloe sun bb cream and Missha definitely provided more coverage than that one. I think with a few layers on it could pass as a foundation. I think its an okay product, but I'm not crazy about it. I guess because it doesn't really look as natural as I would like it to be. Kinda looks matte/powdery, but it doesn't dry out your face. I haven't noticed any whitening or wrinkle repair or whatever. I guess like most foundation is you wipe your mouth with a napkin, you will see it on the napkin. The bottom line is.. its an okay bb cream not the best, and not the worst. -- Update 4/29/2012 Actually I change my mind I do like this BB cream it is awesome! I do find it takes a while to oxidize to your skin color and if you apply it on a little too thickly, it won't oxidize at all. My favorite thing about Missha Perfect cover is the coverage it provides--not yet full coverage but almost, it makes my skin even and awesome looking. I do think it does not look 100% natural, it still will look like you have SOME makeup on but it's not as much foundation. Also it does tend to fade throughout the day so after it oxidizes you can powder it with your choice of powder. It doesn't control any oils so you will be greasy throughout the day. As far as improving your skin, I realllllyyyyyy think that's a bunch of BS, use this for coverage not for its "skin care properties".

The worst 4 bucks I have ever spent. It flakes a lot and hardly pigmented at all. Be wise and don't buy this.

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 color matte palette
rated 4 of 5
Jasminion 9/13/2010 1:26:00 AM

Like everybody said, this is pretty pigmented. I have the shimmery palette, some colors have more shimmer than others. I kinda wished I bought the matt one instead, cuz some just looked too shimmery. One thing though is the packaging is really bad. The little pan that holds the colors were falling off, and the applicators don't stay on the applicator holders correctly, and eventually my lid fell off. lol so I can't cover my palette anymore. But its an fun product to play around with. Some colors are really pretty. Even though its smaller than a dime, this whole palette will last a really long time, years maybe. But if you only use one type of color a lot, its better to just buy single eyeshadow with more of the same color. On a side note, one thing that I find interesting is that coastal scents didn't actually create the palette. I think they just bought a generic palette from a distributor in China and printed Coastal Scents on it, so its possible to find the same palette sold elsewhere. So I guess Coastal Scent is not really a brand?
