Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush - Utterly Game
Jascha117 9/8/2010 4:43:00 AM
This is a lovely peachy colour, it's slightly more pink than peaches, but that's actually the reason I like it even more. It looks very shimmery in the pan, but when applied it doesn't look very shimmery, more satin? I would def repurchase.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone
Jascha117 7/26/2010 11:03:00 AM
I bought this because I have very big pores around my nose and I have a very oily skin. I thought it would maybe help my tzone get less oilier when I wear makeup and minimize my pores. It doens't help my t-zone get less oily, I only use this product in the most oily places in my face and i use it as instructed on the box. However, I must say that my pores look less visible under my makeup ( I really don't believe that this would help minimize my pores in the long run, but I'm just pleased that when I wear makeup they aren't emphasized) I would probably not buy this again, as it really doesn't do everything it claims and it's expensive.

Sunscreen -Clinique - City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum 25 SPF
Jascha117 5/20/2010 1:21:00 AM
I have to say this is the first product with spf in it that I like, it doesn't make me break out, doesn't smell bad. BUT, it is really hard to spread, even though I always apply a moisturizer. So I feel that I am using more of the product than I should be using ( also thanks to the fact that it dries up really quickly) One con is that it does make my face oily as the day progresses, but since I have very oily skin, I know i shouldn't expect a product to keep that at bay. Overall, I like it, and I will be buying it again, hough this might not be HG. EDIT: I forgot to say that this does accentuate your pores, big time. I have some big pores in my cheek area due to acne, and they are very visible (extreme!!) when I wear this. I'm going to look for a pore minimizer :)

Shampoo -LUSH - BIG
Jascha117 5/13/2010 5:35:00 PM
This is a good shampoo to cleanse your hair, and the smell is soooo good. Really, I just love to use it because the scent lingers in your hair afterwards but it does strip your hair of moisture. I think it's a good idea to use this shampoo once a week or if you really need to get all that build-up out of your hair. ( I would use a good conditioner afterwards) I would buy it again for the times that I need to get my hair squeeky clean, but since I don't need that so often I'm still doubting to get a new jar. Anyway, I checked yes because the product does what it's supposed to.

Shampoo -TiGi - Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo
Jascha117 5/13/2010 9:56:00 AM
I bought this a while ago and I used up a whole bottle. I have to say that this does make my hair more sleek and gives more shine. BUT the downside is it makes the lengths of my hair very dry, I have to use a lot of conditioner to counter-act that. I'm glad I never used the controlfreak conditioner because it would never have kept my hair as moisturized as it should be. I'd recommend this shampoo as a cleansing shampoo for once in a while, but not for every wash, it's really too drying.

Treatments -LUSH - Grease Lightning Spot Cleanser
Jascha117 5/13/2010 9:46:00 AM
I absloutely love this! I don't have a lot of pimples anymore, but when I have one, I just put this on overnight and it'll look a lot better. Yes, it does dry out your skin a bit, but that's actually what's helping make the pimple dissapear. I used to have heavy outbreaks and this really helped make my skin look better.

Conditioner -TiGi - Bed Head Self Absorbed Conditioner
Jascha117 5/12/2010 3:41:00 PM
I bought this because this was supposedly full of vitamins and it would be good for hair that had been chemically damaged. I tried this for over a month, but this really sucks. I have dry hair of my own and this conditioner just makes it drier! I can't believe that they would promote this for chemically treated hair! True, it did give shine, but that's not all I'm expecting from a pricy conditioner. I'm now using it as shaving cream for my legs, I can't just throw this away. I'm using the tigi superstar combo and that does work! I wish I had known about it earlier and hadn't bought this product.

Moisturizers -LUSH - Vanishing Cream
Jascha117 5/12/2010 10:08:00 AM
I used this for a few months, and it really didn't do anything for me. It didn't clear up blemishes, didn't make my skin less oily,.. It's an ok moisturizer, but for me personally, there are far better products for the same price :)

Conditioner -TiGi - Bed Head Dumb Blonde Reconstructor
Jascha117 5/12/2010 6:48:00 AM
I used this conditioner when I still had bleachblonde hair and it really did help the overall condition of my hair :) I don't think the smell is really that bad, though I can understand some people think so. I used this as a mask, I let in in my hair for 10 minutes or overnight, and I think that did the job. Even as a conditioner it made my hair feeel SO soft and manageble, something i wasn't really used to at the time :) I'm now using tigi superstar conditioner and shampoo and that works for me now. (I no longer bleach my hair)

Conditioner -LUSH - American Cream
Jascha117 5/12/2010 6:38:00 AM
I got this as a present for my birthday and i have to say it just smells wonderful! And the smell lingers!! Downside: it really doens't condition enough for me. I have dry coarse hair and I really need a lot more than a good smell to use a product again :) So overall, I wouldn't use this unless I wanted to smell really good haha!

Styling Products -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
Jascha117 5/12/2010 6:30:00 AM
I used to use this after every time I washed my hair, and I waited and waited to finally see some results, but frankly, I never did. Agreed, it does soften your hair a bit, but it really doesn't tame any frizz, not for me anyway. I am now using something from pro-duo and that really works. I'm never ever trying anything from john frieda again.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense-Combo Oily to Oily
Jascha117 5/12/2010 3:36:00 AM
I got this as a sample from the clinique counter and have used this for a week. Since this is supposed to be for oily/combination skin, I thought my oily skin could benefit from spf. wrong, This made my skin look like a total grease ball, even if I applied very little. It just doesn't feel right either, it just sits on the skin. I have been using city block spf 25 and I really LOVE that, spf and it doens't make my skin greasy, breaks me out. I suggest you use that if this didn't work for you since it also has 25 spf :) Besides, In a youtube video, a girl said that the ingredients used for the spf aren't fotostabile. which means as much as ="If you go out in the sun, your spf will stop working" If this is true, this is nothing more than a very, very expensive moisturizer. Besides, antioxidants lose their main function when exposed to air, and when you open a jar, what do you do? expose it to air.. The chole packaging is off, I just wish they'd putten this is a tube, so much easier, and so much better for the antioxidants.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
Jascha117 5/12/2010 3:29:00 AM
I got this as a sample from the clinique counter, I've been using it for about 2 weeks 1-2 times a day. Since a little goes a long way, I suppose it'll be another 2 weeks until I finish the sample :) I have very oily skin, and I find it very difficult to find a moisturizer that actually does the trick: moisturizes but doesn't leave my skin greasy. This stuff actually does the trick, it leaves my skin silky smooth and moisturized. I never thought I'd be raving about a moisturizer, but this stuff really gives my skin a healthy glow etc... Only downside, the price. I don't know if I'm going to purchase it beacause it really is expensive. plus, the packaging is really annoying, I'd rather have a tube instead of a jar I have to dip my fingers in.

Liquid -Clinique - Superfit Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
Jascha117 5/5/2010 7:17:00 AM
I bought this product because it said that it would " wick sweat and excess oil from skin, keeping it look fresh, feeling comfortable all day" yeah, didn't happen. First off, the colour i bought turned out to be one shade too dark for me ( though in the store it actually looked good and the saleslady thought so too) but then the worst part. It was created for people with an oily skin to mattify so I was really excited about not having to worry about my oily skin anymore. I mixed some in with my moisturizer because it was a tad too dark. It didn't stay on for long... actually, after an hour of wearing this my skin was all greasy and looked deadafwul. I am so frustrated! I really love clinique products but I will not buy any makeup from them again. This was just very dissapointing, especially for the price! I think I'm going to try something fom MUFE , I've heard some great things about it.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash
Jascha117 5/5/2010 7:11:00 AM
Since this came on the market, I haven't been using anything else. This doens't clot, does what it's supposed to and my lashes look stunning :) I just have to go over them once and they are defined. The price is also very good, seriously, I have tried so many mascaras and have paid a lot more than this but have never been so please. This is definetly my HG. I am never ever going to stray fom this one!
