I love this stuff! Perfectly named....I sometimes use after I put on my foundation and tap it around the outer eye area which opens up my eyes. I also tap a little over my upper lip line - looks great! Also mix with my heavier foundations which gives a nice glow. I'll probably have to always have this in my makeup arsenal...too multi-purpose to do without.
Lotions/ Creams -Curel - Ultra Healing Intensive Lotion For Extra Dry Skin
Jandesan 2/25/2013 4:23:00 PM
This stuff is unbelievable. I have tried oh so many creams from high end to low end to no avail for the sun bumps on my middle aged skin. There, I said it...middle aged. That statement vouches for the multiple creams I have tried. My father actually turned me on to this as he had what I called "barnacles" on his legs from years of sunning and living. He said this cream took them away....AMAZING STUFF...let me tell you. Within 2 days my dry bumps were gone. Sinks in very well and I just can't believe it worked like no other!!!
I am trying to stay hidden in my office today at work because my hair looks so greasy from this stuff! I didn't have time to wash it out so here I sit looking like a grease monkey! My hair never looks this greasy ever....it's horrible!
I must agree with everyone on this one. I have thin eyebrows which have a nice shape. But they seem to be getting sparse and this just plumps them up and can shape them up. Applies great and lasts all day. Color blends in perfectly. This should be a MUST for everyone.
I have fine, highlighted hair, so shampooing every day is not a good thing. However, using this product is definitely not a good thing...it left my hair heavy, oily and just plain disgusting! Leaves deposit in hair as well and gave no added volume whatsoever. Ugh! I tried it to save a little $$....but Batiste is still the best!!!
Well glad I bought this at CVS 'cause it's going back! Within minutes my eyes were burning - this is not a good thing....haven't had a reaction like this to eyemakep ever! Makes you wonder what the heck are we putting in our eyes!! Oh well, I suggest you don't purchase this brand.
Well, as usual, I have to be the one to go against the grain. I was soo excited to purchase this due to the great reviews. I paid $80 on ebay, so was happy to get a bit of a deal. I HATE IT! It slides off my face by mid morning. I use a primer, but it didn't help. I also used the spray on finisher....didn't help. Turns orangy after 3-4 hrs....didn't find coverage to be any better than my other high-end to low-end foundations. Ewww, I'm so p.o.'d I spent that amount of $$$!!!! UPDATE: Well seeing I paid so much, I have been trying this to suit my needs. I think the problem is it is too sheer for me....so I have been using a heavier foundation and layering this on top and it does give a nice glowy natural look so I am happier with it. I don't know that I would repurchase for $80 or more dollars, but we'll see.
Ehhh, nothing to write home about. Would NOT repurchase. Just haven't found a drugstore mascara that comes close to my Lancome. Just trying to save a little $$$.

Not really impressed....based on reviews, I thouht it would be better. Looks drying on my skin. Glad I bought sample colors. I will say the colors are nice...I ordered 5 different ones and I could pretty much use each color. But I won't be purchasing the full sizes.
Wow! Finally, after so many heartbreaking years.....a liner that stays on my waterline!! This is my 5th day using this, yet everytime I look in the mirror I am still surprised...the liner is still there! I get home at night...the liner is still there! It just proves how these high-end makeup companies are gouging us - you don't need to spend a lot of $$ for makeup! Yes, I have fallen prey to their hype....I have tried soo soo many...urban decay 24/7 is one that sticks in my mind...HORRIBLE! Smudged before I even got to work! I am still p.o.'d. I paid $$$ for those pencils! But thanks to Makeup Alley, we are able to find out about these companies that cannot afford full page ads every month in the fashion mags. THANK YOU ELF AND THANK YOU MU!
Nice color..but on my waterline, no staying power! Even on eyelid it smudges way too easily for being called 24/7. Very disappointed with this liner...my cheapest ones stay on better than this. Also, gives black gunk in the corner of my eyes....this hasn't happened for me in ages!
Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F80 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki (was SS197)

Oh yeah, this is what I needed! Great foundation brush - I have used with liquid as well as cream and it is sooo soft and the application is glorious with this tool! Glad to see MU has added this product for reviews. Would definitely repurchase!
Yes, the colors are nice. Yes, it goes on smoothly. However, by the time I have put my mascara on, it is already fading on my waterline. My cheapie Jordana liner is still much better for longevity. I guess it is ok for the lid. Still looking for my HG waterliner!!!
Eye Makeup Remover -Elizabeth Arden - All Gone Eye And Lip Makeup Remover
Jandesan 1/18/2011 1:13:00 PM
I did received this in a gift with purchase pack...it is probably the best eye makeup remover I have used. The small bottle is lasting quite a long time, as you don't need much to get even my waterproof liner/mascara off. Leaves my eyes feeling fine...no oily film, etc. I will probably purchase again.
OMG....that's what I said when I went to use this spray for a 3rd time and it was empty! Two uses was all I got out of it. And my cat would have been the only other one who could have used it! It was fine the first 2 times.....maybe a defective can? I don't know, but don't want to spend the $$$ to find out! I will stick with my Sally's dry hairspray (can't remember the name)....it is just as good!
