Ingrid nail polish is exactly what I wanted OPI's You Don't Jacques to be. While OPI's version is extremely flat, Ingrid has a very fine sparkle to it that brings more dimension to the color. I adore this color and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gray, fun color. In comparison, OPI is a very dull gray and Sephora's Metro Chic is has much more lavender undertones. Ingrid has a golden undertone which makes it look fabulous on warmer skin tones.
I bought this perfume a year ago & have been in love with it ever since. This is my signature scent. The perfume is light & fresh and never smells overdone. I love the pink plaid packaging and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fresh but sweet scent. Note: the sweetness in this perfume is definitely not overpowering, I wear this daily! For comparison, other perfumes I love Chanel Eau Tendre & CK Euphora Blossom
I've used this product only once but already love it. The smell is amazing and the product works really well. I bought this after an Ayurvedic Facial at the spa and on me, this mask really sucks out all the blackheads on my nose. It was too drying for the rest of my skin - in fact the few bumps I had on my cheek were peeling after this mask. I plan on using this as a spot treatment anywhere I have blackheads or active break outs. The only cons are the price ($34) and the container (a tub). I wish it were in a tube form to keep the product sanitary. I wish this was cheaper but I think it's worth the price right now. I will update this if my opinion changes in the next few weeks!
This review is actually for the Kapha Cleanser (there wasn't any option for it on MUA). I bought this after an Ayurvedic Facial at Pratima Spa. I had really high hopes for this cleanser & this company in general but I was really disappointed with this cleanser. I love that the ingredients are all natural but the powder form is REALLY annoying. It was really difficult to pour out the right amount of powder & form a paste in the shower and just as annoying to do it every night. Also, the cleanser really didn't do much for my skin. If the product changed my skin for the better, it would be well worth the hassle. Instead it was merely average. This is one of the major reasons why I'm bringing it back to the spa asap!
I've used NARS Orgasm for about two years now and though I love it, I was getting a little sick of all that freakin' glitter! I bought MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul in a whim and I am in love! It's the perfect nude-y blush without any chunks of glitter. It makes you glow rather than freakishly sparkle. I generally like to try something new after a product runs out but I doubt this will run out any time soon! I've been used it everyday for almost two months and haven't even made a dip in it. Love it!
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve

After all I'd heard about this product I couldn't wait to try it. What a disappointment! This lip balm barely lasts 30 minutes on my lips before I need to reapply. Also, the most it's done is help my cuticules but in other dry areas like elbows, does not make any difference. The tin is hard to open in a rush. This product is not worth the money or the hype.
I really do love Nars Orgasm but this blush is just too expensive for me to repurchase. I got it originally as a gift a year ago ( barely made a dent in it after using it daily!) I have my good days with this blush and my bad days. I love the shimmery look, but sometimes I feel it's a bit overdone. I really love the glowy look that's hot now but this blush just overdoes it a tad. Also, I've found many blushes that give the same look for much less money. The staying power is not that great, by the end of the day it's as if I never had any on. I love the blush but...it's just not meant to be
I absolutely loveeee Prestige liquid eyeliners. I currently own them in black, navy blue, and a beautiful shimmery olive green. I use the black and blue daily (the navy blue really brings out my brown eyes) and I have no problem at all with staying power. The brush is a little stiff but I think that helps me better with creating a precise line. This product even works well in the inner rim. The only con I have is that sometimes if the eyeliner is still wet and I draw a second line over it, the eyeliner somehow scratches off? I'm not sure if that makes sense haha. By now I'm an expert in apply liquid so I don't have to go back to correct any mistakes. The besttt part about this is that it easilyyy washes off with no problems, no black residue under my eyes or anything. This is def. HG status :)
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 45 with Helioplex
Jadore124 9/29/2007 3:04:00 PM
I love Neutrogena products! Before this came out, I used to use the Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 without any helioplex. I decided to pick this up since it has better protection. I do like this product but I feel that the SPF 30 moisturizer gave me a little better moisture. After I apply this I usually reapply some more over the my dry areas (tops of cheeks, chin) I am applying quite a bit so I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. I like the protection it offers so I'm pretty sure I will continue using this once it runs out.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I've been using Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Moisturizer for years now and I love it! I love that it has SPF30 and doesn't cause any kind of reaction or breakouts. It moisturizes my skin perfectly and lasts throughout the day. Another plus is that it smoothes my skin out so applying makeup is easier. The only con I noticed, which might be the moisturizer or my acne medication is that when I get towards the end of the tube the moisturizer kind of flakes off. It's a little annoying but a quick swipe with a tissue and the flakes are gone. I love it!
Mac Eye Kohl in Smolder was my very first department store eyeliner. I couldn't wait to try it since MAC was such a cool brand. Unfortunately for me, this eyeliner SUCKED! It smeared all over my eyes, and within 5 minutes of applying I looked as if someone had punched me in the face. It's the smoky look to the extreme. It's a shame these eye pencils work so terribly since the colors are absolutely fantastic. My skin is on the drier side and I always wear powder so I have to say it's the pencil. I would def. never buy these again.
