I really didn't like this one because it left a very greasy feel on my skin and it wouldn't get absorbed and gave me breakouts. I live in a humid climate and have combination skin so I think this wouldn't work for me.
Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Nude on Nude Shadow Palette
Jadeite22 4/22/2004 9:34:00 AM
This comes in a very sleek black casing, very beautiful and classy. Unfortunately the colours were a little too understated, though on hindsight, it is after all a Nude palette. The colours didn't really show up on me though.
Loose Powders -Giorgio Armani - micro fil loose powder
Jadeite22 4/4/2004 9:06:00 AM
It's a lovely, very finely milled powder, I got this in #1 which is a little too fair for my skin tone. However despite the beautiful texture I still much prefer T. LeClerc's loose powder which is even more finely milled than that of the GA Microfil.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Butter
Jadeite22 3/30/2004 8:44:00 PM
Lovely scent, texture is thick and rich which makes it great for very dry skin. Tends to be a bit greasy, as the product does not get absorbed easily and the skin still feels slightly oily for hours after.
Cleansers -Shiseido - UV White Clarifying Cleansing Foam I
Jadeite22 3/30/2004 1:22:00 AM
Just a little bit of product will go a long way! It lathered up beautifully, was very soft and very creamy for use, and it was one of the very few foaming cleansers that did not make my sensitive skin feel taut or excessively dry. A tad pricey though , and not much can be seen about it's claim on the whitening effect. Other than that, I would be happy to repurchase this again.
Oh I love this stuff! It gave an immediate glow and hydrated feel to my skin, and soothed the irritation my sensitive skin was experiencing lately. I only wished the packaging was better, as I don't really like the idea of dipping my fingers into the jar for each application.
This is a very beautiful lilacky colour in the bottle, with a lovely shimmer, however it didn't really show up on my fair complexion.
Lip Treatments -Prada - Tinted Shielding Balm spf 15

An average performer despite the brand name and outrageous price. There are better lip balms out there.
Gels/Soaps -Crabtree & Evelyn - Goatmilk Hand Wash
Jadeite22 2/15/2004 9:11:00 AM
This is a very lovely handwash that came in a very pretty clear looking pump bottle, with an incredible scent even better than the Goatmilk hand therapy or the hand recovery versions. I loved that the scent lasted and it wasn't drying on my hands. However I found it a little pricey for such a small bottle of handwash, that can probably last me less than a month of use, and the price is the only reason why I won't buy this again as there are probably cheaper alternatives out there.
Scrubs -Crabtree & Evelyn - La Source Hand Recovery
Jadeite22 2/15/2004 9:08:00 AM
One feel of the grains in the scrub and you know this is going to be some serious exfoliating! It's almost like coarse rock salt but it has a very moisturizing base and did a really good job of giving my hands a very smooth feel afterwards. However I did find it a bit sticky after washing the scrub off - the SA told me that I had to let the 'stickiness' settle for about 5-10 mins before applying hand cream and I thought it was a little inconvenient.
Lotions/ Creams -Crabtree & Evelyn - Goatmilk Hand Therapy
Jadeite22 2/15/2004 9:04:00 AM
This is a lovely cream with a very nice milky scent, great for sensitive hands however I found that the Gardener's version performed much better for really dry hands.
Really nice set of brushes for the price, the bristles are soft and did a fine job despite being mini sized brushes. Comes in a nice nylon pouch great for travelling or in your everyday purse and enough space to stash your other cosmetics. The only thing was the pouch did not have slots to hold the brushes individually so inadvertently there will be friction between the brushes and the bristles.
An overall very handy set for travelling or slotting into your purse, the brushes are of fairly good quality for the price, and comes in a neat nylon pouch. An overall good investment.
Makeup Brushes -Paula's Choice - Pro Basics Brush Set
Jadeite22 2/15/2004 8:57:00 AM
Absolutely great product for the price! The bristles are really soft and they do pick up colour very well and spreads very evenly when applied. Performed much better than some of my more expensive brushes. An overall good investment!
Ooooh I love this one - the colour is such a pretty pale copper with a slight shimmer it's one of my fav glosses now! Looks lovely when I want something casual yet a little sexy.
