Moisturizers -Olay - Anti-Wrinkle Mature Skin Enriching UV Lotion SPF 15

I have oily/dry skin. My face is producing too much oil on my T-zone due to lack of moisture ( as explained by a BC) so I decided to give this a try. I can't get this in my own country but read all the great reviews on Drugstore so I imported it and I can't be happier! It's virtually oil-free and it really moisturises my skin. In fact, after the first application, my skin was less oily on the T-zone and my makeup stayed on throughout the day! For the result I get and SPF coverage, I think it's value for money and Drugstore always have Olay promotions.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - ELIXIR - lifting emulsion II

Can't get this in Singapore so got my friend to buy it from Japan. Have used this for the last 2 years and now I got my husband hooked on it as well! He absolutely loves how it hydrates his skin as it can get flaky sometimes. He uses it after shaving and he claims it gives him baby smooth skin! Now he's thrown away all his other men's skin care. If they could make it a pump bottle would be better.

Treatments (Eye) -DERMAdoctor - Wrinkle Revenge Eye
rated 1 of 5

I would like to feedback on the Wrinkle Revenge for eye. I woke up one morning and found my right eye had swollen to the size of a ping pong ball. At first I didn't think it could be the eye cream as I have used so many eye products in the past and it has never happened before. The doctor thought it was something I ate. But subsequently when I started on the cream again, my eye swelled again. So I did a little test and stopped using the eye cream for a while. When I started on it again it gave me a terrible pain in my right eye like there was some form of pressure building. It stopped when I stopped using the cream. Thought I'd feedback with my bad reaction to the cream. Seriously I have never had any reactions to any other eye cream even with cheap OTC products and this product isn't cheap which is what made me surprised. I wonder if it's been opthamologist tested. I hope it didn't do any permanent damage to my eye. I will probably go for a detailed eye check. By the way, it didn't do anything for my fine lines. I will stick with my Clarins!

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
rated 5 of 5

I just want to correct a review by a member called marmus below. La Mer is owned by Estee Lauder since 1995. They bought over Max Huber's company after they found out he was making too much money for this miracle cream and they wanted a share of the pie. This cream does work despite what some skeptical reviewers have put forth (some without even trying) Firstly you have to use it correctly in order to see the results you want. It is not a cream that you slather on your face like you would with cheaper creams. All you need is just a tiny dot that you warm up between your finger tips and then pat it all over your face. Hence a little goes a long way and a 2oz jar can probably last you an entire year. My only gripe is the packaging that instead of a pot it could have been a pump bottle which could be more hygenic since it lasts so long.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Skin Clearing Foaming Wash [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5

Was recommended by my friend who works there...she doesn't really recommend skin care products but said this was really worth a try. Nice foaming wash that doesn't sting your eyes or dry you up even though it contains salicylic acid. It does foam up nicely but the pump somehow do get stuck quite often. No horrible smell to put you off..it's almost frangrance free so makes washing face quite a pleasant experience.

Treatments (Eye) -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex
rated 4 of 5

Ok..I used this for a while and then I thought I'd switch to something richer (it's a pun) like La Mer Eye Balm...but it gave me bumps on my undereye! So I switched back to this and thank goodness it somehow made the bumps go away in 2 days! Guess I will be sticking to it since it works for me and doesn't cause any sensitivity that that very important area on my face. I've used other eye gels and creams but some gave me fine lines and some did nothing. Only this seem to work for me.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rated 1 of 5
JNFCHIA 2/7/2006 4:18:00 AM

When I first started using this I thought it was great and gentle for my skin. However after using about 3 bottles of the stuff I grew a sensitivity to it and everytime I used it, it would sting my face and leave it red and blotchy! I don't know how it happened but it did! I won't use it again...

Treatments -Dermanew - Microdermabrasion System
rated 4 of 5
JNFCHIA 2/7/2006 4:10:00 AM

I used to go to my facial salon for microdermabrasion and it hurts like hell and honestly I didn't see any of my scars fade or go lighter. So I decided to give this a try when skinstore.com had a promotion. I was so excited the day it came and I wasn't disappointed at all..ok maybe a little bit with the cheap plastic that's why I gave it a 4 and it also tremors too much when you put it on high..so I always use the lower setting. But this really works and you get to adjust the pressure yourself and the area you want to concentrate on. I have used it for 2 nights in a row and I see results! My pores are gone and my scars have lightened...it's not my imagination! I glow! However, I did use it in conjunction with a fabulous scar cream called Mederma and a moisturiser that calms the redness right after the treatment.

Tinted Moisturizer -Za - Tinted Moisturizer SPF10
rated 5 of 5
JNFCHIA 2/7/2006 3:59:00 AM

I have bought this over and over again and I would still keep buying it. I'm basically not one who likes to clog my skin with heavy foundations or makeup so this is perfect for me. Not that I have perfect skin. I do have bumps and scars from chicken pox and acne but this seems to even out my skin tone very well and jides the imperfections. And like I said it's not heavy at all but yet gives good coverage that looks natural and doesn't give me breakouts at all. Just finish off with loose powder and I'm done!

Masks -Montagne Jeunesse - Masks
rated 5 of 5
JNFCHIA 2/5/2006 2:15:00 AM

I tried the Dead Sea 5 Minute miracle tonic mask after reading all the rave reviews and it is indeed what it claims to be...a MIRACLE! I used it before going to bed and when I checked my skin, my pores are so much finer and my skin feels taut and refreshed! So I went to bed thinking how long this effect would last and to my surprise I woke up, looked in the mirror and I still looked great. I have an oily T-zone and usually I wake up with an oil slick on my face. In this instance, there wasn't!! Wow! I can't believe that a cheap mask would be able to do so much and believe me I have tried masks from all brands like Sisley, Clarins, Shiseido etc etc. I thought Sisley Express Flower Gel mask was my HG. However, I think the downside is the packaging as it didn't make the product look 'serious'.. like it can really perform. I give it thumbs up coz it's really effective and cheap!
