Styling Products -Organix - Macadamia Dry Styling Oil
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 3/1/2012 9:33:00 AM

Ok...I am becoming a fan of the Organix line from the start of me buying the Morroccan Oil line, then the Awapuhi Ginger line and now the Macadamia Oil line. I got this Dry Styling Oil as a sample and was so impressed. It smells so sweet and appealing...like the nutty flavour of macadamia nut cookies baking on a winter afternoon...and the quality of this product. It left my old highlighted ends nice and soft and the rest of my feathered do so SHINY. This product is amazing and now I am torn to decide which of the oils I love the best....Morroccan, Awaphui, Brazilian or now the Macadamia. Hmm...I think I will use one every different day! :-) No need to take sides...they are all wonderful! :-) Excellent job Organix!

Hair -Organix - Reparing Awapuhi Ginger Dry Styling Oil
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 2/4/2012 11:41:00 PM

I was walking thru my local grocery store and seen something new from Organix. The bottles were a metallic black with hotpink sparkles...I had to look. Organix invented a new line shampoo, conditioner, styling oil and a mask in the formulation of Awapuhi Ginger. Well they only had the shampoo and conditioner, and the price was steep...so I wound up going to Waldgreens and got it on sale! I wound up trying out the styling oil. I have to say I am soooooo in love with this product. It makes my hair so soft and shiny. And the scent is so pretty! After finishing my hair...I felt like I got a blowout in Hawaii. This Organix line is so brillant and its fractions of the cost of the bigger brands its modeled after. I am looking foward to trying out the matching shampoo, conditioner and mask! I cant wait to write the next review. :-)

Shampoo -Sebastian - Color Ignite-Multi Tone
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/15/2011 11:04:00 AM

One day I was stumbling thru a magzine and seen this ad for Sebastian introducing a new line called COLOR IGNITE. The ad was pitched well and the bottle was so colorful and pretty....it automatically caught my eye. So... I was in the market for a new shampoo/conditioner cause my hair was getting tired of the Loreal Serie line...so I decided to march myself down to ULTA and purchase this....I only purchased the small size in the event I didnt like it. But, you know what? I am getting ready to buy the BIG bottle of this!! LOL! This shampoo is so AWESOME! It comes in two versions....one for single processed color and the other is Multi Tone/Lightened hair. And its rare cause you really dont see shampoos that diversify like that. So this shampoo has a nice creamy texture, which smells like berries..has a touch of pomgrenate...but I have to say...it left my hair so soft and shiny. With the use of the matching conditioner....my hair was salon like...like I just stepped out of the chair! I love this shampoo and even though it might me a bit pricey, so what!! Its hard to find a good shampoo and conditioner that dont turn your hair into a copper brassy, frizzy mess! So hats off to Sebastian, between the ad pitch, the colorful bottle and the wonderful ingredents...this will be definately one of my new favorites added to my beauty regimen!! :-)

Conditioner -Sebastian - Color Ignite-Multi Tone
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/15/2011 10:55:00 AM

Ok...I reviewed the shampoo, and well a good shampoo always CANT be without its matching conditioner!!! This conditioner is so unique and awesome!!! It comes in two versions...one for Single Processed hair color and then one for Multi Tone-Highlighted/Lightened hair.. It comes in a shaving cream like can....and it comes out whipped cream...like reddi whip!!! The theory of it being whipped is it fills the cracks in your hair cuticle to counteract the damage that was done during the highlighting job. After 2-3 minutes, rinse out...and style as usual and then ...my hair was like a Barbie doll...so bouncy and shiny! Again, I felt like I just got my hair highlighted...like stepped right out of the salon. My steaks were so bright and vibrant! Very nice. So... I tried the small size (in case I didnt like it) but... Yeah, I am definetly going to big bottle to match the conditioner. Good marketing techinque with the vibrant colorful container and excellent idea for the multi tonal colored hair...even more the foam contexancy....WAY TO GO SEBASTIAN! :-)

I must say....I love Mariah's marketing techinques! This is one of the 3 (Ribbon, Honey and Mine Again) in the series and this one is called HONEY. It a pretty sunny yellow bottle with the butterfly top and the smell is so happy and sweet. Its a combo of honey, with a hint of pineapple and sunflower....I have all 3 and would say this is my favorite. I would love to buy it again...but its limited edition and you have to shop ebay for it...but I am happy wear it for now! :-)

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Mariah Carey Lollipop Bling-RIBBON
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 9/2/2010 11:49:00 AM

I must say...when I see new fragrances come out by a singer I am always in a rush to go out and try them. Well this was the case with the new Mariahs! I was in the nail salon and seen an insert in a magazine and smelt them...and was like WOW! THere are 3 Lollipop Bling editions...Mine Again (red bottle), Honey (yellow bottle) and Ribbon (blue/pink) bottle...and Ribbon is SOOOOO pretty smelling! Not heavy, light, carefree and sweet. It reminds me of a soft summer day eating cotton candy...the smell is a faint raspberry with a hint of floral notes....I sprayed it on 8am and its now 11 and the scent is still lingering...very nice! The only thing is its a limited edition for summer 2010 so....you have to try to find it before its gone! :-(

Bronzers -MAC - blush ombre springshine
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 5/4/2010 10:50:00 AM

Well good things come in 3 they say...although there are 4 in this series for MAC...in my case, I purchased the Azlea Blossom, Ripe Peach and figured why not try the Springshine. I was too wild about the raging purple on the Violet Bloom....so try Springshine. All I have to say is WOW! This blush gives my skin a pretty golden glow and brings out the sparkle in my eyes and even makes my hair look more golden. LOL! I noticed, again with these blushes two toned in the compact you have to dip the blusher brush stratgetically so you can get the top bristles with the lighter shade (top of the cheekbones) and the bottom bristles (contour) with the darker shade. This gives the illusion of perfect high cheekbones. Very clever MAC. The only thing that is sad that this item is limited edition...so you have to resort to EBAY to find it....but never the less I will make it my business to find it again! ;-)

Conditioner -Dove - Intense damage therapy - with serum
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 5/4/2010 10:44:00 AM

I always liked...let alone LOVED Dove products...and heard wonderful reviews about this conditioner from a hair dresser who had wicked bleached blonde hair. So ..I was taking a stroll thru Walmart and was in the pursuit of this...and only found the 25.4 oz bottle...but I didnt care and bought it. That was Feb! Now its May and the bottle is still lasting me and I am thrilled over this conditioner. Its got a nice thick consistancy and the smell is fresh and clean and my hair just drinks it. I have highlighted hair which sometimes doesnt behave itself...and this conditioner I use even on days I dont wash it...and it just shields my hair from damage and everyday styling wear and tear. Excellent job Dove....I am just wondering, being they changed the bottle face and the title..is the formula still the same? But I will find it...and I am sure it will be awesome as well! :-)

Conditioner -Dove - New Dove Advanced Color Care Conditioner for Lightened or Highlighted Hair
rated 2 of 5
JCPrincess318 5/4/2010 10:38:00 AM

I was on a wild goose chase for this product, being that Dove changed the face of the bottles....so one day I was walking in Harmon and it was just sitting on the shelf and it was the exact one I wanted...lightened hair formula. So I was happy to have found it...and well when using it for the first time...wasnt so happy. This conditioner was a not as thick as the Intense Damage Therapy and I found it left my hair gummy and oily. I am not a fan. I do love the Intense Damage Therapy instead. I am wondering if Dove is going to continue this item being that it was no where to be found in the new faced bottle??? Hmm....

This product line just keeps on getting better and better! I was walking thru the mall and stopped into Essential and seen the display with this new introduction and had to buy it! Although it caused me a pretty penny...I couldnt care less. So far the "Its a 10" line hasnt let me down and well I couldnt leave out the new member of the family that is is sitting on my vanity. This serum is AWESOME. The 10 ingredients are miracle workers... Adds Shine Controls Frizz Seals cuticle Nourishes the hair No build-up Resists humidity Smooths the hair Protects color Alcohol-free Creates slip And the fragrance is pleasant and lovely. They hit every base on hair products...leaves me to wonder what will be next? Way to go "ITs a 10! ;-)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Flip (Frost - Blonde, Brunette, Redhead Collection)
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/28/2010 2:06:00 PM

This is the ulitmate shadow if you have nice brown eyes....it a good wash for the entire eye and it the light reflectors just pick up the sparkle and hue of the brown in the eye. It makes me look like I when to St. Tropez....Very pretty gold. The only thing I am not to wild about is that it was part of the Blond, Brunette and Redhead collection, that its now discontinued! :-( ! Oh well thank God for Ebay! Who cares about the price..its worth it!

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Sensuous
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/28/2010 2:00:00 PM

There are all different perfumes in this world...some are older smelling, some bring out the young in us and some well stand all by themselves...and I must say this one is a class act! Wow! One of my coworkers had it on and it was a warm day and it was generating a sweet, sophisticated scent...so pretty. Well I had to run out and buy it! And boy and am I glad. It goes on strong...but then dries to a woods/cashmere/spice...so sexy and classy. During the day I lightly put it on and it says...but when I go out for a formal occasion I layer it with the matching shower creme, lotion and body powder. And believe the compliments just keep on rolling. I classify this one as my seductive, sophisticated lady scent! ;-)

Eyeliner -Revlon - Luxurious Color Eyeliner- Sueded Brown 502
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/28/2010 1:54:00 PM

Out of all the brown eyeliners I ever own or will ever own..this is my signature one. I think it had to do alot when I was growing up and lots of people told me I looked like Cindy Crawford cause of my facial structure, hair color, eye shape and mole on the mouth...being that she was the spokesmodel for Revlon ..this liner was featured on her in an ad..so I went out and bought it. Loved it...got lots of compliments on the way it complimented my brown-golden eyes...but then Revlon yanked it. It was Brown Suede...and then it became Sueded Brown...so I was so happy they brought it back! Its really all and all a good liner that is verstatile. It can be used in the place of black...it compliments blue, brown and even hazel eyes. Definetly a favorite...if Revlon pulls it again...I think I would have to boycott their products!

Blush -MAC - Blush Ombre - Ripe Peach [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/28/2010 1:42:00 PM

Blush crazy...just maybe? LOL! I got a flyer in the mail for MAC with the Spring introduction for colors and well didnt think much of it till people were buzzing about it. So ...I had to go to the MAC counter to only find 3 stores later that this item sold out within 2 weeks...and being its a limited edition, you cant get it again! EBAY to the rescue. Ok...this is a nice blush. Lots of people are saying its close to Peach Nuiance on Estee Lauder...well folks MAC is owned and a division of Estee. So the color lines will be very close But what I was most impressed it is the clever two tone shading..If you angle the blush brush with the top bristles dipped into the lighter shade (peach) and the bottom bristles dipped into the darker shade (coral) you have to apply it stratgetically on your cheeks. The top part acts as the highlighter and the bottom part is the contour. If your clever enough to achieve this...you will have a flawless look with cheekbones that can cut glass. I like this product...so much...that I even bidded on the Azalea blossom too....hats off to MAC!!

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto Voluptuous
rated 2 of 5
JCPrincess318 4/28/2010 1:26:00 PM

Well I am more and more becoming of mascaras....and figured why not and try this one...so I did. And well I am not a fan. I like the black tube original one better...this one is the same formula in my opinion and well the brush is a waste of time. Its a curve but does the same thing as the straight one...why bother. Defiently not repurchasing!
