This is the best mascara Ive ever used and Ive tried my fair share of mascaras (All drugstore since i can bring myself to try high end mascaras) PRICE:I bought this for 12.99$ canadian at my local SDM. This is pretty expensive for a drugstore mascara but its worth it. PACKAGING: The packaging is awesome, the tube fairly large so you get your share of product, the gold tube is super pretty the only thing is to be careful when you close it because is the top cover with the wand doesnt make a small clicking noise when you screw them together you risk drying out your mascara. PREFORMACE: The brush is a hard plastic bristle brush which is my opinion works the best compared to soft bristled brushes that ive tryed because they tend to comb out the clumps much better. This mascara doesnt come out goopy which is probably because of the "clean sweep" thing in the tube. It goes on amazing and after even 4 coats my lashes look amazing, the closest to a false lash effect Ive ever gotten. unfortunatly the non waterprooof version is terrible and flakes but with a little bit of baby oil and a minute or two to soak in and work its magic this waterproof mascara comes off no with no rubbing or pulling. I almost strayed from this mascara to try covergirls lashblast 24hs after seeing an add and noticed the brush was very similar to million lases but thankfully changed my mind after reading the reviews here on MA stating that the brush in the add is nothing like the brush in the acctual tube. Thankfully that made me come to my senses and relize that i shouldnt stay from a mascara that does everything i need it to do and then some. the staying power is amazing as well; It lasted through a night of sex, a shower and sleeping and in the morning my mascara hadnt budged. An overall winner in my books.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System

We ordered the 1st shipment and was billed for 2 of them but never got the 2nd shipment. I ended up canceling so that I wouldn't get ripped off again. The service is terrible. The products packaging was tiny. Not enough for what I would consider a mother supply. I did enjoy the face wash however the toner stung a bit what you put it on but I guess that's the glycolic acid. I only used the lotion at night as it didn't have any spf and only used it to spot treat since it was drying. Don't get sucked into the advertising its expensive, you get such a tiny amount of the product and although the face wash was merely alright everything else in the system ducked. And to add the rotten cherry on top you had to deal with shifty customers.er service. Do not recommend. There's just as efficient face wash systems at your drugstore for a fraction of the price and you get way more product.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared
rated 3 of 5

Okay so I bought this mascara on a whim because although I know no mascara will truly give me a false lash effect the name did intrigue me. The package is similar to the covergirl lashblast mascaras which in my opinion look a little cheap. The brush consists of a scooped brush presumably ment to give you the flared look but in my experience don't work any better then a straight brush. The bristles were the regular soft type which now that I have tried the hard silicone type bristled mascara I tend to steer clear of due to the fact that they aren't very good at combing out lashes, and this mascara was no exception. The first coat provided your run of the mill natural mascara look, the second coat provided a bit more volume but if your like me and put up to 3 coats of mascara of on forget it. By the 2nd coat the bristles wouldn't go through my lashes properly whether or not I waited for the mascara to dry between coats and unsightly clumping developed. I found my lashes a bit dry and as the day went on and I noticed a small amount of flaking. Unless you were a preteen trying out mascara for the first time I wouldn't recommend this mascara as it doesn't give much drama at all to my lashes. I'm still on my search for my HG mascara (Which I later found in l'oreals voluminous million lashes mascara in the waterproof version. Highly recommended.)

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara
rated 3 of 5

After reading the reviews here on MA I decided to bite the bullet and try this mascara out. The packaging is my favorite color but like the other lashblast formulas looks a bit cheap. The first coat of this mascara provided... Barely nothing. So I tried another coat.. Looking a bit better. Another coat... Getting there. 4 coats later it looked pretty good. The thing this mascara has going for it is its silicone hard bristled brush which acts like a mini eyelashcomb essentially combing out the clumps. But really? 4 coats? I don't recommend this mascara if your looking for drama or volume because unless you have the time to load your eyelashes with up too 5 coats of mascara to get the volume your looking for, forget it. And even then it left my eyelashes looking a bit spiderlike. Another major downfall was its "water resistance" abilities. Now I know there's a difference between waterproof and water resistant but I expect my mascara to be able to stay through a few tears caused my the cold wind here in eastern Canada. Oh and it flaked pretty bad thoughts the day. Luckily after continuing my search I found my everyday HG waterproof mascara in in l'oreals voluminous million lashes mascara in the waterproof version as it has the same type of hard silicone bristled brush (which was the only thing I liked about clump crusher) but a bit bigger and with a better formula.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rated 5 of 5

I switched to this product when the colder weather started comming and my face started drying out. THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT! not harsh on skin and wont get rid of pimples however no facewash will magically make pimples so away, it will only treat the cause (oil build-up) this product wont take make-up off however i dont *usually* wear a lot of make-up. It does not dry your skin out and i think i might be going out on a limb here but THE BEST cleanser for sensitve skin. This did not irrate me at all or dry me out, no scent which is good. it comes in a HUGE bottle for about 15$CAD which has lasted me 3 monthes (i wash my face 2 or 3 times a day with 2 or 3 pumps each time) so the price for the amount is really good. i like that it has a pump rather then a flip lid like other cleaners. the pump reseals closed which is really good for travel. I ran out today and decided to try the spectro gel cleanser since i heard there were very few differences between them but if the spectro gel doesnt work out for me i WILL BE GOING BACK TO THIS PRODUCT and claiming it as one of my very few HG PRODUCTS.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer spf15
rated 2 of 5
Itsallascam 4/3/2011 5:14:00 PM

Ive been using this for about 5 monthes now, throught the cold season (and by cold a mean, atlantic canada winter cold). which is when my skin NEEDS a moisterizer. This did ok at the beginning of the fall when my skin wasnt really dry but when i noticed it becoming flaky i added a bit of cetaphil moisterizer too it which worked well. On its own however its a good LIGHT moisterizer for the warmer weather. in the winter you might need a bit more of a heavyer moisterizer. people with oily skin beware as it does have a 'shimmer' to it and can illuminate large pores. my upstairs neighbor acctually bought this for me after mentioning to her that her skin looked good and asking her what she used (she mentioned this product) this is the first moisterizer ive stuck with for such a long time (usually i chuck em after disliking them but i liked this one enough to keep it around). it didnt do anything to 'even my skin tone' but was a very handy light moisterizer for fall/spring weather. now that the weathers warming up im going to try the avveno calming lotion as my skin does have some redness and i dont want to go into summer with 'shimmer' and i like a matte look.Edit-IT SUCKS... However through using this product i will stay with the aveeno moisterizers line assuming the rest work as well as this one did. a good light moisterizer that didnt break me out. Edit- after straying from this product I went back to it and I hate it. I don't know why I ever liked it so much. The shimmer makes you look greasy. It does not moisterizer well and after using it straight for 3 years my face doesn't look anymore radient nor has the texture or darkspots went away. PLUS it's pretty expensive for a drugstore product. The only bonus is that you get enough in a bottle to last you 3 months or so. I ended up throwing a brandnew bottle of this into the garbage because it sucked so much.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash redness soothing cream cleanser
rated 2 of 5
Itsallascam 12/12/2010 3:28:00 PM

I bought this product as a switch from the original neutrogena oil free acne wash cream cleanser because it said it would reduce redness. i cant really say it has done that and if you have sensitive skin it may even make it a tiny bit more red. however within the first use the large pores one either side of my nose were not visible what so ever so i was really surprised with that part of it, must be the glycolic acid. On that note the glycolic acid does sting a bit, however that may not be the case if your use to using glycolic acid products. as this is my first i did feel a small but bareable amount of stinging and when i washed the product off the menthol gave a nice cooling feeling. if you have sensitive skin however these ingrediants may do more harm then good. i do have to admit i can see a difference with the pimples and blackheads that have been developing lately on my chin that my last cleanser wasnt able to help. i would suggest buying this product if you do not have overly sensitive skin as some of the ingrediants may irritate however i do like this product and will continue to use it. EDIT: THIS PRODUCT TURNED MY SKIN RED AND BLOTHCY! IT IS NOT FOR SENTIVE SKIN! I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE IT CONTAINED GLYCOLIC ACID BUT MY SKIN NEVER GOT USED TO IT. I USE OTHER GYCOLIC ACID PRODUCTS WITH NO PROBLEMS. IT MIGHT BE THE MINTY TYPE FEELING THATS SUPOSE TO BE 'REFRESHING' THAT DIDNT AGREE WITH MY SKIN BUT ALL IN ALL I DO NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT.
