Fantastic tube with a built in mirror (which I use often to touch up my lip gloss) and a great basic bristle brush which I prefer to the rubber brushes BUT the good things about this mascara stop there. The fibers fall out all over my cheeks all day long so I am constantly wiping them off. That and the sad fact that it is not waterproof. Waterproof or water resistant is a must for me in order to keep any curl. Luckily this was a full size sample in one of my beauty sample subscriptions so I didnt have to pay full price for this dud.

At first glance it just looks like an almost neon green with teal & green medium sized glitters. Maybe a lime green? Not quite opaque after 3 coats so I was disappointed with it until one evening I turned on a flashlight and then turned it off to find that my nails were glowing brightly in the dark. FUN SURPRISE!!!! haha! I will now use this as a top coat over Fergie Glowstick or another green thatll go nicely with it. I had gotten their plain glow in the dark polish before and it was too ugly telltale slimer green to be pretty enough to use on its own or over another color so this is definitely a better choice. $1.97 at walmart.

Lipstick -Milani - Sweet Nectar

What drew me to try this line of lipstick is that they state they are paraben free along with their matching liners. This was one of the shades I had been wanting. I had never ever worn orange ever before but because the price was cheap even not on sale and it looked really fun I just went for it. ($5,89 @ CVS) The formula tends to be drying like a matte lipstick. I really need to use balm with this. It leaves a stain on my lips which is nice. The color looked really fun & fresh on me. NC25 here. I want Violet Volt but all the CVS around me seem to think its too wild of a color to carry on a regular basis. Hmph. Overall its a good lipstick but not a great formula for someone who tends to have dry lips such as myself.

Opi came out with Skyfall James Bond collection with one of the shades called Goldeneye. All About You is an incredibly close if not exact dupe of this warm golden glitter.

I have repurchased these balms a few times and will continue to simply because they work for me. They are soothing, moisturizing and best of all organic. I have about 20 mint ones and a single in Citrus. I find that the Citrus goes on gritty but it really moisturizes more so than the mint for some reason. I have severe dried chappy lips in the winter and these balms have been a lifesaver. I also apply it past my lip area up around under my nose since this is a problem area as well. It helps soothe and get my dry skin issue under control and I dont feel bad if some gets into my mouth since it is organic. I switch between using these and bagbalm but I prefer these because the taste and smell is a lot more pleasant than bag balm.

YES I will buy this smelly ointment/cream a million times over. I had been using it to cure my infant son's horrible diaper rash for awhile (because NOTHING else worked for him) but then came across tips to use this for just about every skin issue. Its been a lifesaver for me this winter. I have had the most horrible allergic reaction to some skin care product I used recently which created this very thick leathery layer of dry skin over my lip area. Aquaphor didnt help and my arsenal of lip balms didnt help a bit. THIS is the only thing that broke through and cleared up the problem. Ive used this on my dry elbows,On my husbands dry rough feet, I dabbed them on cooking burns (healed them right away like over night). This stuff is miraculous. I will never be without this ever again.

BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

After trying this out a few times....my skin looked really dull & lifeless. I have mild redness around my nose and uneven skin tone which this did even out but my skin looked flat and just simply dull. Nc25 matched the Light shade perfectly.

Out of my massive arsenal of eye liners THIS is the BEST eye liner hands down. It is so easy to make a precise cat eye for me (goofproof for me but I am a pro at creating cat eye with all sorts of liner styles so ymmv). The color is a true deep black and really stays true for hours and hours. Its the blackest eye liner I have! It truly is smudgeproof. Although I am not a big fan of this type of marker/pen liner because they do tend to dry up quickly I would buy this often because of the outstanding formula and color. So far I have gotten 7 good uses out of my pen which to me is impressive after using several drugstore brands which dried up after the 1st use. $16 on birchbox website which isnt too bad of a price.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Waterproof Mascara

I was excited to see waterproof mascara formulas for WnW as I have never seen waterproof versions before. This formula claims to lengthen my lashes up to 80%....NOT. What a claim! It lengthened them by just a little but The Falsies & even Lash Stilleto lengthen my lashes by much much more than this does. Because my lashes are stick straight and sparse I have to use an eyelash curler and I MUST use waterproof mascaras which usually will hold the curl. This is the 2nd waterproof mascara I have ever come across that instantly uncurls my lashes while applying. I can't say that this is garbage though because I am intrigued by the mascara wand. I am a mascara hoarder and I have yet to come across another wand like it. It is PERFECT for my bottom lashes because the bristles are very short and evenly spaced apart. Although I think the formula is not for me I will buy this again just for the brush. I will clean off the one I have now & dip it into my HG waterproof formulas.

Its polishes like this that make it so dumb to buy expensive polishes. This gold metallic is STUNNING. In two coats my nails are gold foil. Dries quickly. I didnt need a top coat to make it shine. SO Beautiful to look at. Im going to use this to make designs with! I dont mind the bulky style brush. I do have small nail beds but I never have issues with this style of polish brush. $3.49 at Wags for a package deal that comes with the clear top coat.

About my skin: I have fairly sensitive skin. It is normal to dry skin in the summer & dry in the winter. At almost 35 years old I have the dreaded parenthesis lines beginning to form around my mouth and the horrible brow furrow ("11") lines are beginning to creep in as well. I keep the dry, flaky skin away by using a combination of Clinique 7 Day scrub & Olay ProX system brush with a variety of different cleansers but mostly Aveeno Positively Ageless facial wash/scrub. After cleansing my face I would use this serum, eye gel & the day cream. Since I have dry skin I find that the serum is not quite hydrating enough to use on its own. On me it feels just ever so *slightly* tight after I let it set. I can get away with not using moisturizer if I wanted but I prefer not to. I usually use the Ujene Day Cream afterwards in order for my skin to feel completely normal. The heavy glass bottle is nice to look at and dropper style makes it easy to dispense the serum. I have been able to use 98% of the serum up this way. The rest I just tipped over into my palm. The serum itself is a thin consistency, clear with no fragrance. It is chock full of well known good-for-skin ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, antioxidants, polysacccharides & more. It claims to have 10% of an ingredient called Oviluxe which I am not as familiar with as the other ingredients. (I am a big fan of products containing hyaluronic acid after a bit of research.) I usually use this serum after I shower when my skin is a bit damp because I find that the serum spreads easily & melts right into my skin so a tiny little bit goes a long way. (And I mean a TINY bit) The bottle lasted me for several months with daily use. After using up just one bottle I can't say that my wrinkles have totally disappeared but I can see that with continued use this has potential to get rid of my "11" that is *trying* to form itself between my brows. What I can say it has done is prevent them from getting any worse. On another note: Last winter (and several winters before) I was using a mish mash of skin care products (Estee Lauder, Lancome, drugstore) trying to find the right balance. This winter after using Ujene Serum, Day Cream & Eye Gel I have found that my skin isnt nearly in need of hydration as in the previous winters. I have a strong feeling the regular use of this skin care regime is to thank! Overall I really really enjoy using the serum, day dream & eye gel and would get them again but one lippie off for being on the expensive side.

I received this perfume as a gift from my husband. I would not have bought something like this for myself since I prefer warmer less floral smells. On me it smells like a fresh, clean and soapy floral. The bottle is masculine looking. Not something I care to display on my dresser. They could redo the bottle. Im on the fence about returning this since I do not have anything like it.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - wear infinite eyeshadow palette for Brown Eyes- Summer Dusk

I can see why another brown eyed reviewer like me mentioned that this makes her look like she got "punched in the eyes" Its the #3 shade that is the culprit. It looks like a muted purple but it applies very pinky purple. It might work if you have a darker skin tone.(I am NC25 & it made me look sickly and YES like I had been punched in the eyes!) #1, #2 & #4 look very lovely when I apply it the way I like. I do not follow the diagram on the back. I apply the #1 light pink shade all over my lid, the #2 light beige shade as a highlight under my brow & in the corners of my eyes then the #4 darker purple shade as the contour shade and blend it out. It looks very nice. The eye shadows themselves are creamy & blendable even the 2 matte shades (#1 & #4) which is nice since matte shadows have a rep of being difficult to blend. I did get this quad for $5 something at the grocery store which I think is a great price for what you get. I know Lancome is L'Oreal & from my experience I do not like Lancome shadows. Somehow someway L'oreal makes a superior eye shadow at a much much lower cost. Overall, I like these quads and will definitely repurchase.

I cant stop staring at my mani when I wear this. NC25 for reference but I am sure this can look good on anyone. I feel extra pretty with this metallic rose polish. I dont think its frosty at all. I wore ChG Sex on the Beach prior to this and it has the same metallic shimmer finish as ChG SOTB. Except this is a darker version of it.

I love this medium pink cream so much that I bought a back up soon after wearing it just once. Then I gave it to my niece because she loved it too. So now I will go buy another back up again some time. Cheap but not a cheap performing formula. The perfect pink cream to do designs with. I love it!
