This serum is light and easy to apply, and does not break out my skin. I have purchased this product many times and it is my go-to product for the night time treatment. I use this product after toning my face at night and may following this product with a moisturizer if I find that my skin needs extra moisturizing.
Treatments -Neostrata - Skin Renewal Peel Solution

The solution is very runny so you would need a cotton pad to apply the product. However, I find that this way, the tiny little beads that are mixed in the solution (which I find helpful in massaging the product onto the skin) do not transfer well onto the skin. The product comes in a glass bottle, which I like. However, the packaging does not travel well; a lot of the product leaked from the screw cap if the bottle is not kept upright. This peel is helpful in loosening the dead skin; however, I didn't find the directions for use work for me. For my skin, I found that the product needed >30 min to work into the skin to loosen the layer. After rinsing the product with water, I always needed to mechanically scrub my face with warm water. Otherwise, I would have patches of loosened skin that would look scaly. I used this product 2~3 times a week. Although this product did not break out my skin and my face felt soft after the "peel", I found this regimen quite time consuming and needing a lot of mechanial srubbing, which I no longer want to do. I liked this product enough to purchase it twice and used it for >1 year. Currently however, I have about ~20 usages left on the last bottle and I have stopped using it altogether. I may have found a better glycolic acid peel alternative by Derma E, which I will post a review after using it for a while.
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Physiological Cleansing Gel

This is a gentle cleanser and does not break out my skin. It has a slimy consistency and does not foam (it does not contain sodium laureth sulfate). It's also paraben free, which was the main reason why I tried this product in the first place. I use this product to cleans my face in the morning. At night, I use this product in combination with other cleansing "regimen". It does say "high make-up removal power" but I always remove my eye makeup prior to using this product and I also follow this product with another foaming cleanser with clarisonic so I can't say that I trust this cleanser entirely for removing make up. It certainly does not remove my eye makeup residue. It's about ~$22 at the drugstore I go to and a 200 ml bottle lasts me about 3 months. I like the fact the the bottle comes in a pump. I have re-purchased the product twice and will probably re-purchase if I can't find a better replacement.
Cleansers -Peter Thomas Roth - Glycolic Acid 3% Facial Wash

I use this product with my clarisonic mia at night after pre-cleansing my face to remove makeup. It does contain SLS so it foams well. My face feels clean after use and I find the concentration of Glycolic Acid gentle enough for daily use. I did try using this soap twice a day and found the product drying my skin. The packaging does not travel well; the cap leaks the product. 250ml lasted about 8 months or so for me. Although I paid ~$50 plus tax for this bottle at Sephora, it did last a long time so it's worth buying if you love the product. I generally find glycolic acid containing product good for controlling blackheads. Overall, this is a good product but I wouldn't mind trying other products to see if there is something better.
