I would like to formally apologize to all users of this product who have not loved it....I am so sorry for your loss. This powder in dim light is absolutely fantastic, amazing, stunning, healthy, electrifying I mean I could go on and on. It's hands down better as a finishing powder then Chanel, guerlain pearles, Mac, I mean it is the best there is right now. I am a NC25-40 depending on the time of year, now about a NC30 This product literally does what it says, softens and makes my skin look silky soft and glowing. I love it!!! I wish it controlled combo skin a bit better but I will still repurchase as I love the look it gave which lasted a 8hr work day. So far no breakouts, will update

Blush -NARS - Exhibit A

I said yes to purchase again but I highly doubt it as this stuff lasts FOREVER! I really do lI've this blush, it warns up my face. I live how there is no sparkly flecks so it looks very natural and flushed. It is warm and beautiful on. Don't let the color and pigmentation scare you.

Mascara -Marcelle - Twist up Mascara

Hands down fantastic mascara. I had been looking for a drugstore brand mascara to try with shiseido nourishing base (read that review) it forced me to branch out from my beloved hypnose. I found this on sale at Save on foods and now have 4 boxes of it This stuff rocks!!!!! I have it in dark black, it's great for contact lens and doesn't bug my eyes. There is a twist at the bottom end which expands and shortens the wand.....seriously? Brilliant. The longer length coats all of your lashes and lengthens them, the smaller length builds then up like a "push up bra" and seriously it does. What I find is it doesn't leave broken lashes or with a branches look but coats smoothly and curls up for that dramatic eye lash look 2 girls from work have already purchased and I'm singing this one from the rooftops...I can't believe I found a real LE mascara with the quality of HE ;) I'm tickled

Purchased this for 50% off at Shoppers Drugmart. I was excited to try after seeing in a Lisa Eldridge video Sooo dissapointed. It broke me out, it came out seperated

Mascara -Shiseido - Nourishing Mascara Base

I sincerely feel apologetic for not shouting from the rooftops on this one. Excited from the reviews I purchased two. This is what I did for a week Tried it with loreal million mascara, no difference, tried one eye with and one without absolutely no difference Tried it with smoky lash from mufe again no difference between an eye with and an eye without Maybe a bad batch, or maybe my eyelashes don't need it, I don't know. I wanted big bold lashes. That being said, i owe a big thank u to this stuff...knowing I was going to purchase this made me look at drugstore brands and I found my new mascara love, marcelle twist up mascara - phenomenal. As good as hypnose at a third of the price and I've been raving endlessly about it, def check it out!!!

Ok, so I'm writing this review end of day after wearing and will update. First, so far no little bumps. Dior hydra tinted gave me 3 cystic bumps gross!!!!! I found out I may be allergic to Titanium Dioxide because I can't use Mineral makeup either without clogging of pores So woooo hoooo so far do good. My skin looks awesome, no bumps, great color, no greasy spots. After 8 hours I could now blot This could be a product that goes it all, I will try the Shiseido one and will update my review Update - not super crazy about this, had some breakouts but will try again soon

Moisturizers -Clarins - Hydra Quench Cream

I really really like this cream. Living in Canada, I would recommend this is a must have for our winters. You do not need to use it everyday but it does help to use through the week to keep up the moisture of your skin. At first I thought it would be way too much having combo skin but it is not too much, if anything it has taught me the value of hydrating our skin properly to encourage beautiful skin. If we are dehydrated then problems start. I love the look of my skin after using this product (even though I'm still using my multi-active comfort cream on other days to help prevent wrinkles). I wish it would come in a tube like the sample I have but oh well, I still bought a jar for this winter :)

I'm getting my FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE yes, if you heart Clarins as much as I do and live in Canada you MUST join the VIP Program at The Bay, I did and now I got to pick my free product a few weeks ago and without question, I picked this one. This stuff is awesome. I actually feel that it is doing so much for skin. Fine lines are not as noticeable. I don't use it every night, probably every other night. I alternate with either Hydraquench cream if the winter weather is getting too intense for my skin and with Extra Firming night. I will wear it alone or under Extra Firming night. I had read from another review how this is a great combo together!!!!!! My skin feels fantastic after I put it on and I always wake up in the am with radiant skin. My skin has completely changed after using Clarins. I even volunteered myself at a Beauty Gala to tell people how awesome Clarins is!!! Again I am sooooo excited about the VIP program and I'm getting this for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Cleansers -Clarins - Pure Melt Cleansing Gel

For some reason this burned my skin. I use a Clarison mia 2 and am a devout Gentle Cleanser Cottonseed Clarins face wash user. I received a sample of this and read it's good for taking off eye makeup. When I used it for that and then some got on my cheeks, I still carried on with my cleansing routine only to find that my skinned was almost burn-like when I finished cleansing. Anywhere the metlting gel had been I had a burning sensation and my skin was red. I heart Clarins but this product I definately had a negative reactiont to. :(

To be honest, I am a huge I heart clarins fan but this serum did hydrate but I had little bumps from it. So having sensitive skin, it did bother mine. That being said, all of my skin care products are from Clarins but not this one. I do appreciate all the samples you can try at Clarins so you don't have to buy the large product to see if it is compatible with your skin.

Lip Gloss -Clarins - Instant Light Lip Perfector - Rose Shimmer

HANDS DOWN MUST HAVE GLOSS This gloss is fabulous, it is so hard to describe the color other than beautiful on the lips. Perfect soft lip for just running out or with dark smoky eyes. It reflects light and brightens your whole face. It is not sticky or tacky. It smells divine and really moisturizers my lips. I have used the rose 01 and apricot and those in my opinion are must haves. When I wear the rose 01 I use NYX 849 lipliner pencil which matches perfect. I heart Clarins

Bronzers -Clarins - Bronzing Powder Duo

I just read it's great for fair people. Well I can honestly say it's great for medium/olive people to. I LOVE this bronzer. I now prefer it to Estee Lauder, which I thought was awesome. I first use this with contour brush and brush it for contour under my cheek bone. Then with a fluffier brush, I use it all over my face to give that "fresh sun" look. Then blush. It lasts all day and it really does finish off your skin. No breakouts, no reactions, no bumps for my sensitive skin. But you can't expect anything else from Clarins. I picked this up at Winners for $16.99 I KNOW I KNOW, I SHOULD have got more :)

Blush -NARS - Amour

Nars blush is fabulous! I just received Amour in a swap and am so excited I did, I love this blush. I first purchased Exhibit A and Taj Mahal because of MUA. After being so impressed by the quality of those blushes, I really wanted to try another one. I love this one, it looks so good on my olive/medium complexiion that is going more light with winter on the way. I highly recommend this and Taj Mahal to everyone else. I also love Exhibit A but it is not for those faint at heart.

Lipstick -Clarins - Joli Rouge - 704

UPDATE: I just upped my lippies to a 5 - this is the best red lipstick!!! It's so multi-dimensional and feels so beautiful on and lasts quite a while. I love this with gold eyeshadow, a thick black eye liner and a nars blush...it's awesome! I just picked this up at Winners today. This is a great red, not a deep dark red but a more vibrant red. It reminds me of the 40s/50s era and looks awesome with Nars exhibit a blush. This lipstick is very moisturizing and works beautifully with my medium/olive skin tone, too bad there was only one in the store for 10 bucks!

Primer/ Corrector -Clarins - Instant Light Complexion Perfector

I got this in a swap. When I'm done I will repurchase. Unlike the beauty flash balm that I love, this isn't as dewy but I do love it. Sometimes I will just use it to highlight above the cheekbone or I will mix it with my concealer for under the eyes to add with glow. I have it in rose shimmer. I just received a sample in the bronze so I am anxious to try I do not need to wear foundation because of clarins skin products, I hardly ever get a breakout which is huge for me. My scarring is going away so the rise shimmer provides a soft glow and does not make me feel like my skin can't breathe or is being clogged. Another great clarins product
