I had been away from Paul Mitchell a long time. When they discontinued the Samy thickening mousse I used I couldn't find one that compared. The new one they put out couldn't compare. I read about the Paul Mitchell extra control on here I wouldn't have tried it. My local Walmart has a hair salon that sells it. I started out with the small one. I loved it!! I have since gone back and got the large one. I have fine wavy/loose curly hair. I appy when wet, curl dry half wave and they finger curl when dry. PERFECT! I am now going to try the serum for some shine. Thank you MUA!

Self Tanners -Jergens - Natural Glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer-Medium Tan

I have tried many gradual self tanners from low end to high end to no avail. I have little patience with all the steps you have to go through. I started out with the Jergens lotion and read good reviews on MUA for this so thought why not. I was a little apprehensive at first. Came out like mousse and I just started. I must say it is very forgiving and fast drying. Just what I wanted. I am fair to medium but went for the dark through experience knowing the fair doesn't do much. I use it about every other day. Extremely easy to appy and dries quickly. Got just the color I wanted. Try it if you just want some color.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I am 60+ and love mascara! I have trouble finding the right one. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices for something you have to throw out in three months so the search was on. I wanted something in brown that would add volume and come in brown. This is the first one I found. I love it!!! Have no trouble with the tube. I have also ordered the Max Factor. I will have to compare them. I like the orange tube as it is easy to find in my makeup drawer. Don't fool yourselves. We "mature" women love makeup too, just have to be a little more careful in selection. Love MUA!

Was looking at the E.L.F. website and came across this. I really do like it. It is great to carry in your purse for a touch up. I have actually taken it out and just put some on my finger and touched up my lips. Very sheer but that is what I like. Don't like a heavy look. Liked it so well I orderd some for my daughters who are grown and married. They both really liked it. Just order it again in peach. Dirt cheap so what do you have to lose?

I bought this product because of the reviews on MUA. I works great. Took off one lippie because it seemed to stay sticky for quite awhile. It does give a golden color the first time I used it. I have used Jergens, which I like but was leaving streaks. This one leave no streaks and even though I have used self tanners for years I am still not a pro. I don't have the patience. This is almost fool proof. Had to order on line becaue couldn't find it anywhere. Try drugstore.com. Going to put on second application this morning. Great mostuizer too! May not be good for oily skin. Very inexpensive and leaves nice color. Not for deep tans. I used the medium and I am fair/med skin. I am also 60+ and proud of it. Love MUA. Still love makeup and reading MUA!!

I loved this primer but alas it made my slightly dry skin drier. It is a great primer but not for dry skin!

Tinted Moisturizer -Boots - No7 Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer

Seeing this in my Target I just had to try it. After hearing so much about Boots I figured what the heck. I am over "60" and do not like foundation and have some high end tinted moisturizer. I started with fair which turned out to be too fair so I went back and got medium. I mixed the two and great! Matches my high end. Will certainly buy again if I can find it. Might have to buy online since it sells out so fast!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I CAME ACROSS IT BY ACCIDENT WHEN I WAS IN THE BOOTS SECTION OF TARGET. I THOUGHT WHAT THE HECK, IT WAS CHEAP ENOUGH. NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD WORK. I HAVE A LOT OF PINK TONES IN MY CHEEKS. IT CAME OUT SO GREEN IT SCARED ME! I WENT AHEAD AND PUT IT ON (PUT ON TOO MUCH THE FIRST TIME). THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS. I AM 65 YEARS YOUNG AND LOVE TO WEAR MAKEUP. I AM A MAKE UP ALLEY JUNKY. HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY TIPS NOW I AM GIVING ONE! BELIEVE ME AT MY AGE I HAVE USED HIGH END PRODUCTS BUT THINK BOOTS HAS COME UP WITH SOME WINNERS! I WEAR VERY LIGHT MAKEUP AND SOME OF THIS IS GREAT. AT MY AGE IT LOOKS TERRIBLE TO HAVE MAKEUP CAKED ON. KEEP UP WITH THE TIIPS AND PRODUCT REVIEWS!
