I absolutely love this foundation!!! I have got combo skin that tends to be dry on the cheeks with a lil shine on the nose and chin. I don't have any major issues other then a slight bit of redness, but I am very light and have a pink undertone. I wear shade light 44 and it is GORGEOUS. Tr coverage is the best I've ever seen in my life. Seriously, just one pump is plenty for your whole face. I don't find this to be unnatural looking at all as some have stated, it looks GORGEOUS and like your skin but way way better. It does a great job of controlling shine as well, and I'm ashamed to admit it,lol...but I fell asleep with it on the other night and it did NOT break me out at all! My skin is normally NOT happy if I sleep in makeup, but no problems here! The packaging is great, and if you keep the small plastic piece that snaps into the dispensing hole, you can travel with this easily because it will not pump out with the plastic piece In place. My only complaint about this, is it dries super quickly so you've got to work quick to blend it. I've applied it with Kats foundation brush, a beauty blender, and my fingers and prefer the look and coverage of just using my fingers. It does have a slightly tacky feel to it on the skin, but this doesn't bother me terribly. I don't wear it everyday, but for when I want to look totally flawless, this is my go to! Love love this product!!!

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light
rated 3 of 5
IceDoll 5/7/2013 10:47:00 AM

This product is not bad overall. I think it is a improvement over it's predecessor. The coverage is a lot better, and evens the skin tone very well. I don't find it oxidises or makes me look orange like their original BB cream did. I also found the finish to be a lot more matte as the product claims, so that was nice it did have some oil control. With that said, I wore this product for a week and it dried my normal/combo skin out. I had several dry patches as well as clogged pours after testing this out. I know it was the BB cream, as I went back to wearing Urban Decays Naked foundation (RAVE! Awesome product!!!) the week after and my skin looked beautiful, dryness cleared up and no clogged pores. If your skin is able to tolerate it, and your more on the oily side, this may be a decent product for you at a cheap price.I am just not a fan of American BB creams SO far. The SKIN79 brand (Hot pink label...another holy grail) and other Asian brands really are superior in my opinion.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Aspirin Mask
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 11/18/2008 11:09:00 AM

I absolutely can say without a doubt this is the most effective mask for me without a doubt! I take 6 or 7 Aspirin, a few drops of water, a squirt of honey, and dollop of plain lowfat yogurt and mix it all up. I spread the mixture over my face gently massaging it in and leave on for as much time as I have while I"m getting ready, normally an hour or so. The yogurt and honey are very moisturizing and the yogurt also contains the lactic acid as well which will help keep the skin clear. I love this combo, and do it one to two times a week. This in conjunction with the Clarisonic have done wonders for my skin as far as softening and keeping it clear! Everyone I tell about this mask also loves it!

Toners -Clinique - Mild Clarifying Lotion
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 7/30/2006 5:10:00 PM

Wow! Love this toner! I have normal skin, that is at the same time very sensitive, and this toner is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It removes my last traces of makeup after cleansing, and doesn't leave the skin red or irritated at all. Just fresh and clean. I have tried the Clarifying Lotion #2 in the past, and this WRECKED my skin. Far , Far, too harsh for anyone!! I don't understand why they dont' push this toner more, as I believe soooo many more people could benefit from it then the other toners they push. If your looking for something mild, yet effective, this toner is for you!! :-)

Scrubs -C.O. Bigelow - Tropical Fruit Face Scrub
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 4/3/2006 8:41:00 PM

I love this Scrub. I also use Bigelow's Extra light moisturizer, and Clay mask (which I have also written reviews for) and love them as well. This scrub does a great job of removing those dull, dead skin cells that make your skin look lifeless. The fruit extracts really do a great job of giving you that "glow". Another great product from Bigelow.

Masks -C.O. Bigelow - Bigelow Purifying Cleansing Mask [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 4/3/2006 8:33:00 PM

Love it. I use this mask on a weekly or biweekly basis. I love how it deep cleans the skin, without overdrying or causing redness on my super sensitive skin. It does an awesome job also when left on overnight on any troublesome areas. Really brings those "would be" zits to a hault before they even start. I have had this mask since October, and it is now April...and more than halfway full still. So, at 18 bucks, it's really a good deal considering how much product you get. I do wish it was in a squeese tube though, as I don't like having to stick the fingers in the jar to get the product out...not very sanitary. Other then that, I love this product. Does what it says it will do, and is very effective :-)

Moisturizers -C.O. Bigelow - Extra Light Face Lotion [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 4/3/2006 8:25:00 PM

I've been using this moiturizer now for about 5 months, and I just love it. I have normal skin, that isn't really oily at all, so at first, I was afraid this would be too drying for me. But, to my surprise, it's perfect. My skin tends to break out easily and experience redness if it is aggravated by a product, but this moisturizer provides light hydration, and NO blemishes. I tried the Regular Moisturizer from Bigelow, the "Deluxe" version that is rec. for "Most" skin types, and it breaks me out. The Extra light has NEVER broken me out. I use it both AM and PM after my Purpose cleanser. I am very happy with this moisturizer, although I feel it is a bit pricey. For a teeny little travel size (although it lasts forever, a little goes a long way) it's nearly 13 dollars. Well worth it though, this is my HG.

Masks -Montagne Jeunesse - Masks
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 8/14/2005 11:16:00 PM

Ok, I have to say, My weekly grocery shopping trips to Walmart are a bit more tolerable now that I have discovered these products! I was skeptical at first, I mean, I have very sensitive skin, and was a bit leery, BUT, I always treat myself to a thing or two from Montagne Jeunesse now and have yet to be dissapointed! I use the Dead Sea Clay Mask about once a week, and it leaves me skin so soft and my pores sooo clean! The Strawberry Gel Mask is awesome too when your skin is in need of a more moisturizing effect, and I anticipate I will be using this product a lot in the winter when my skin is on the dryer side. I have purchased but have yet to use the Vitamin C face Tonic and the Pore Unclogging Tonic, but I look forward to using these sometime in the next few weeks! Great products that really get the job done at a great price! I'm lovin it!

Toners -Nivea - Alcohol-Free Moisturizing Toner [DISCONTINUED]
rated 2 of 5
IceDoll 2/2/2005 5:07:00 PM

I know I'm in the minority here..but this toner just doesn't "do it" for me. I have normal skin, which tends to be very sensitive, and will get clogged pores easily. I tried this toner out because I was experiencing some dry areas on my face, and wanted something without alcohol. I love how this toner is very gentle, and doesn't sting, or cause redness. I did find, however, that it left somewhat of a "film" on my face. I think this is from the oil in it. I like how it doesn't dry out my face, but I feel like it doesn't do a good job of "toning" anything, but leaving my face feeling like it has a coating on it. :-( For now, I'm back to my last bottle of Herbal Logix Phyto Skin refresher, which is also alcohol free, and contains glycolic acid as well. It was the best toner I have ever used, and it was discontinued :-(

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 12/20/2004 9:19:00 AM

Ok ladies, I have to say, I could have never pictured myself writing a review for this, but I broke down and tried it, and to my suprise...I LOVE IT! After running out of my normal cleanser, Olay for Sensitive Skin, I decided to use Cetaphil to see what it was like. BIG mistake. Within 2 days, my normal skin was nothing more then a HUGE dry, itchy flake. I immediatly went back to my Olay cleaner, and added in this moisturizer as part of my routine. It has a wonderful tingle to it after you use it. The lotion itself is pretty thin, and it feels really light going on. It sinks into my skin after about 5 minutes totally, and it took care of my dry, painful face after only 3 days of use. I know have my soft, smooth skin back again! I love this product because it does what it says it will do, and it does NOT cause me to break out, and my skin is very breakout prone if it does not like what I"m using on it. I highly reccomend this moisturizer, give it a try, it worked for me!

Scrubs -Urban Decay - Cream and Sugar Scrub
rated 4 of 5
IceDoll 11/27/2004 2:37:00 PM

So, I was elated to find this $25 scrub on the UD website for just $5.99 at TJ Maxx. I was immediately attracted to the adorable packaging and cute, oh-so-tempting name, not to mention the price tag...literally a fourth of the cost of the scrub had I ordered off UD website. It says you can use it on body as well as face...but I don't know if I take much stock in that. It smells evvverrrr so sweet which I like but others might find very obnoxiously glucose-y. But heck, at $6, I figure I'll run out and buy six more tubs just to sit around my bathroom and look all cute-sy if nothing else. The scrub consists of sugar crystals in a creamy, brown-sugary base and is very pleasant. No way would I pay $25 for this though...

Concealers -Bare Escentuals - Bisque
rated 2 of 5
IceDoll 9/9/2004 5:29:00 PM

I am a devoted user of BE foundation, veil, and blushes, but this particular product did nothing for me I am sad to say. I wear 1.2 in the foundation, and I was thinking that the bisque would provide a good coverage for undereye circles and any redness in my skin tone. I didn't find this the case however. It really did nothing to cover my dark circles (granted, they are very bad :-(. I applied it with a concealer brush on any redness I was experiencing, and it was a bit chalky I found, and just kind of "sat" there as opposed to blending in nicely. In addition, it might be a little too pink based as other reviewers have mentioned, and actually enchance the redness I was trying to conceal. I love all my other BE products so this does in no way turn me off of the line. I would def. suggest trying the foundation as a concealor instead of the Bisque to those looking to try it. When spot applied with a brush, the foundation gives very good coverage and looks perfectly natural. Sorry BE, but Bisque just wasn't for me.

Concealers -Maybelline - Undetectable Concealer
rated 5 of 5
IceDoll 8/9/2004 1:08:00 PM

Let me just say that I stumbled upon this concealer by accident really(just browsing Walgreens), and WOW am I happy that I did. I am a PPP, and bought this shade in Ivory. It is a perfect match for my skin I am happy to report. The shade range isn't very good for this product I admit, but for us paler gals Ivory is awesome. The coverage you get with this concealer is very, very natural looking IMO, and does not cake on me at all (I have normal, sometimes combo skin depending on the humidity here in FL). I use this concealer for both under eye circles, and also any redness I might experience. This concealer lasts all day for me, and has caused no blemishes or breakouts. It is much better then many of the department store concealers out there IMO, I have tried many that can't match up to this one. For around $5, I highly recommend this product if you can find a shade to match your skin tone!

Hair Removal -Unlisted Brand - Skintimate Shaving Gel
rated 4 of 5
IceDoll 7/29/2004 12:46:00 AM

When I originally tried this I was amazed at how thick and cushiony this product really was, after getting accustomed to thin watery shower gels. This is a nice, safe, comfortable gel/cream that lessens my fear of getting nicked. Although it does lather wondefully thick and creamy, I do not find it nearly as moisturizing or emollient as the packaging makes it out to be, or as I would like. I think what really attracts me to this product is the variety in scents, yummy sounding names like "Citrus Sun Tea" (my fav. scent...MMM), and the newest scent, "Appleberry Crush" which I would like to try. Also the girly packaging is so much more preferrable over the plain old boring shaving cream that guys have. Overall pretty good product, but does not leave your legs as soft as shaving with a cheap conditioner.

Pressed Powders -Shiseido - The Makeup Luminizing Color Powder
rated 3 of 5
IceDoll 7/6/2004 9:27:00 PM

I recently purchased this product to go along with my Shiseido Hydro-Liquid compact foundation (I have reviewed this also..LOVE IT!). I have found that when I used this pressed powder applied with the puff it comes with, it makes me look a bit too made up. I prefer using a powder brush to apply it,(so it goes on more sheer) which basically defeats the purpose of a pressed powder. It is handy for touch ups, although I have found it isn't the best in the horrid FL. humidity at controlling any shine I get throughout the day. Still, I like the fact that this powder has caused no irritation or clogged pores to my sensitive skin, and it does make the face feel very silky. I think for the money though, and how well it works on my skin, I will stick to my beloved Sonia Kashuk loose powder.
