I have finally found my perfect shade of red! I love the matte color! I love the moisturizing feeling too, my lips are always so dry in the summer. I am black and I have medium-dark skin and I tan very easily and it's still the perfect color. The only problem is that it lasts TOO long. My lips are stained. I wore it yesterday for the first time and I really didn't have to reapply much today so it's a good thing I was planning to wear it again today or I would have been very upset. I would recommend this to anyone but definitely with that warning. I guess I just need to apply some sort of base, like with red nail polish. Overall, this is the best lipstick I have ever purchased. And of course because it's Cover Girl, the price is always right...(at walmart) I give it 4.75 stars!

Primer/ Corrector -Avon - MagiX Face Perfector

Cakey but it works. It works best alone or under a powder foundation. When worn under liquid foundation my face felt very heavy and overdone. And it really does go on clear on my African American skin. I'll purchase again...until I find another primer I can work with (similar price and better quality). Oh and I love the fact that it has SPF in it. Huge plus for me and my skin!

Powder -Avon - Smooth Mineral Make-up

The color is off, too red. I had to mix it with another to get just the right shade. I rarely use it, just when i want an extra light feel. Perfect for summer for me since my face rare sweats. I still have an unopened one so I won't be purchasing again. It was a good price, but still not really worth it. And the Kabuki brush irritates my skin.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear Shine in Darling Pink

This is one of my favorite lipglosses. I love this color, it's flattering to pretty much every skin color. My sister is light, i'm medium-dark and my cousin is dark, it looks great on all of us. I used to sell avon and that's how I got hooked on the Glazewear. I bought the whole set, I haven't tried them all but I LOVE tickled pink and the clear. Only cons are that they go on thick and they don't last more than maybe an hour. I'd prefer they go on thin and smooth and last longer, but you can't have everything. I have lots of unopened tubes so i won't need to purchase for a while, but if/when i run out, i will purchase again happily.

I got this at KMart last year on sale for $12.99 I believe. It's nothing special, gets the job done in about 10 minutes, but I have short hair so... The concentrator attachment is pretty useless and I wish it had a retractable cord. I'd buy it again only because I've never seen it for more than $20 but I will shop around.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion

This is my favorite mascara. I used to use the lash blast length until I discovered this one about a year ago. I use black and when I run out I'll try the black brown in the waterproof formula. I've used brown mascaras before but they weren't noticeable on my lashes and I've never used a waterproof mascara at all. We'll see if this one works. I pay about $8 at cvs and target which is close to the top of what i'm willing to spend ($10). Let's just hope they don't raise the price anymore

I love this shade, it's great for a "night-time fun" look. The color is very long lasting and it's not at all drying. I love that it's so bright and bold....perfect for summer. It's a great product for $5! The packaging is simple and cute, I don't like a lot of decoration. The packaging is also durable, my niece emptied my purse in the middle of a grocery and it didn't break!
