I LOVE this color! It is the only one I like so far from the new Lip Perfection line. Like others, I thought the color was too light; however, when you mix it with your favorite lip liner, it is gorgeous! I use it with MAC Soar lip liner and I absolutely love it! It also looks fabulous with MAC Whirl. It would also mix nicely with a nude lip liner or even a coral lip liner for a multitude of looks.......all from one lipstick ~ WOW! BTW ~ Feline is pretty also. It is a vivid pink.
I have dry PPP skin and I wasn't sure how this product would work for me, so I got a sample and tried it. I have to say that it is absolutely outstanding for mineral foundation application. I applied this over my moisturizer and then applied the Laura Geller Balance and Brighton Mineral Foundation. My skin looked flawless - no caking, no lines, no wrinkles. Plus, the foundation stayed all day and I never touched it up. My make-up was flawless. This product is outstanding and I highly recommend it for all powder foundations for a fabulous flawless finish. What I did notice about this primer is that it did cause my foundation to turn a little darker than usual, so make sure your mineral make-up is exactly the correct shade for your skin or you will look too dark.
For anyone who has dry skin or wrinkles around the eyes, this is the concealer for you! It is awesome! I have so many concealers from all the major brands - Lancome, Chanel, YSL, ect....and this is the only one that covers and does not make the skin in the area look wrinkled and dry. It is pricey; however, it is effective and a very little bit goes a very long way. I use Laura Mercer primers - mineral, hydrating, and regular - under the concealer for flawless all day staying power! I will definitely repurchase and recommend this concealer!
Powder -Chanel - poudre universelle libre(natural finish loose powder)

I'm a PPP, so I bought the Clair, which is Translucent 1. I have dry skin with neutral to pink undertones. This powder is fantastic; I love it! It creates a beautiful halo effect on your face and it effectively mattifies my foundation. I highly recommend this powder. I use it in the T-area after applying my Laura Geller Fair balance and brighten. Your skin will look flawless!
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
HotttestBlde 2/21/2010 3:32:00 PM
I used this foundation in 117, which is one of the lightest shades they make due to being a PPP. The color is nice and natural; however, this foundation is NOT designed for women with DRY skin. The foundation dries to a VERY MATTE finish. The coverage was more sheer than medium even when I built up the foundation application in areas that had more red. Before you purchase this foundation, be sure to get a sample of it. If your skin is dry, think twice before purchasing it because it sits in every line and wrinkle - very unflattering.
There are many products similar to this on the market. Ie. Arbonne has a version of this also. I like this product because it does exactly what it says it is going to do...make your make-up have a matte finish. I use it in the T-Zone and dust it lightly with the fan brush. I don't use a heavy hand when applying this because it does look white-ish. It is fantastic to use for a highlight on your face. I really like it and have had good luck with it. The compact will last me years. For those who are super oily, it starts with proper skincare to control the oil and then a good make-up primer designed for oily skin. Additionally, during the day, I blot with Starbucks napkins to help eliminate any oil and then put a light dusting of this over my face. Product over oil is still going to give a 'greasy' finish. The price point is excellent -$22 for both the powder and the fan brush. It is $20 at Sephora without the fan brush.
This is amazing! I have many expensive perfumes; however, this is definitely one of the best. It's hard to describe....if you like Euphoria, which is quite common, then you'll like this one. It wears all day and I have received numerous compliments! Retail is $110. Ask for a sample prior to purchasing. (I like the Thierry Mugler perfumes.)
Makeup Brushes -Lancome - Mineral Powder Foundation Brush

Oh my gosh......where to begin? Hmmm....buy the brush; you'll love it! I haven't found a mineral brush yet I truly liked until this brush. It makes mineral foundation application flawless and FAST. It also applies blush perfectly if you are in a hurry. It feels so incredible on your skin. The Lancome mineral foundation is very nice also. I like Ivory 30.
This is the absolute best contouring brush I have ever owned. It's amazing and makes contouring effortless. Now only does the product adhere to it perfectly, the brush blends the product in, so there isn't any streaks on your face. When I first looked at the brush, I was skeptical until the make-up artist applied the product on my face with the brush. Once she did that and I played with it for a minute, I purchased it. I didn't know it was $52; however, it is worth it and you will definitely get your money's worth because it can be used every day. Technically, both blush and bronzer can be applied with this brush; however, since my blush contains shimmer, I use seperate brushes. Definitely purchase this brush - you'll be glad you did because it will enable you to create a perfectly sculpted and blended facial contours, so you won't look like a streaky clown......
PPP. Strawberry Blonde, hazel eyes, dry skin. This is a very nice blush, which surprised me because I'm not normally a fan of mineral make-up. The color is really amazing. I apply a bronzer like Chanel Desert Corail with the MAC 138 brush and then apply Warm Soul in the apples of my cheeks. It is an amazing color, that can work with bronze, peach, and warm pink lipsticks and looks absolutely amazing. I wore it with: MAC Whirl lipliner. Bobbie Brown lipstick in Antique Rose, Purrr Lipglass, and the following MAC eyeshadows: Mylar - Highlight Jest - Lid Haux - Crease Mystery - Accent and liner for lower lashes. It isn't too glittery. It provides a nice neutral warmth for PPP's - especially Strawberry Blondes.
Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan de Chanel - 61 Desert Corail

I'm a PPP, strawberry blonde, hazel eyes, dry skin. I apply this product with the MAC 138 brush, which is fantastic for perfect bronzer application. This is a great color for true PPP's. I like it because it provides a pop of color and defines your face, while looking natural and not fake brown. Interestingly enough, it works fantastic with a pink blush like MAC's mineral blush in "Gentle" or for a warmer look "Warm Soul". It is so neutral and versatile, which allows me to create many different looks while providing me a little color, since I'm so fair completed. It helps neutralize red in my skin also.
I have very fine hair that is long and this product is absolutely incredible. I have never used a product designed for moisture that actually worked and this one far surpasses my expectations. It is 10 fold better than Aveda, Biolage etc. When I get out of the shower, I spray on Tiger Grund Moisturizing spray and wow! If you have fine hair, this is still incredible. Just don't place it on your roots. I will definitely be repurchasing this again. It is expensive; however, it works and that's value because you don't need to buy several products, that don't!
I bought 140 Petal Attraction. It is the perfect nude for a PPP with pink undertones. It smells great, tingles, and provides a high shine. It is also moisturizing and wears well. To complete the look, I use one fo the two lip liners: 1. Cover Girl Outlast Smooth Wear in 130 Nude or 2. Clinique Defining Liner for lips in 07 Plush Pink. For blush, I use Kohl's Peek-A-Blush in 12 Hot Mamma, which is perfect nude for my complection in a matte finish. The nice thing about nude colors is that the eyes can be played up with a multitude of looks - browns, greys, purples, etc. This is definitely worth trying. Just remember, it looks darker than it is.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Angel Mist in Divine
HotttestBlde 11/9/2008 10:03:00 PM
This smells wonderful. It smells similiar to Liliacs when it is first sprayed. I am going to layer it under my Versace Chrystal Noir perfume. The spray lasts about four hours before it has to be refreshed.
I'm a PPP with pink undertones. This eye shadow pallette lacks 'punch'. I bought it thinking it would make a good day time eye shadow compact with all the colors necessary to complete this look in palette. I was wrong. The colors are pretty; however, I have to mix other colors into the crease for a smokey look. I tried using the taupe color; however, it looks 'muddy'. I mixed and matched this quad in every thinkable configuration and it is just far to subtle for my taste. I like a nice look for the day; however, it still needs to pop. This quad would be nice for the woman who does not like a made up look aka natural look. I'm returning it.
