I was excited to try this after reading so many great reviews! And I know PTR has a good reputation with ingredients and effectiveness but I think this is just too harsh for my skin- I have plenty of experience with acids of all types, retinioids, exfoliatiors etc but though this product isnt horrible I just felt my skin was left drier. The good side is it is nice to use on hands on elbows and helps leave them softer. But I will probably use this 1-2 week and not repurchase. I think this would benefit oily skin gals much better!

Got this in a philosophy kit-nothing special-yes it will hydrate a bit but nothing you will really notice doesnt hydrate fine lines that well-If you are in your teens or 20's this is a great "starter eye cream" but absolutley nothing special or worth spending $$ on. This cream is a dud ;(

Though I am a skin care junkie and tend to try many different products-this really has surprised me! I likey! I still have slightly acne prone areas and dry combo skin-yes they never say to use soap on your face but honestly this is great and effective-it literally helps my acne disappear. Esp in summer when you get those little sweat pimple things on your forehead-this totally helps get rid of those! I just went to derm and she recommened LRP and I use the moisturizer but at night I use the Ivory soap and it really takes everything off, makeup, sweat oil-yes you get a taut feeling but its nothing moisturizer cant fix-if your skin is acne prone,give this a try! Its literally like $1.00 so its not a huge investment! Who would have thought??

Moisturizers -L'Occitane - Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate

I got a sample size of this and used it a week-not impressed. Yes its like "velvet" but leaves an almost unnatural feel to your skin. I really just felt like its that suffocating dimethicone-like feeling on your skin-almost like a primer. I cant say how good it is for your skin, but just the feel of it just sits on top of the skin.

Moisturizers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan oil

I was real excited to try this but I dont really find anything special about argan oil. Its just ok but I didnt notice any difference and I think my chin may have gotten clogged from this(but alot of products do) Its nice but I just dont find it amazing. But try it for yourself its only $15 for a pretty good size bottle and if you hate it, Sephora lets you return it. It feels good on hair and cuticles.

I have had this product for a couple years and would use it on and off for lips, highlighter etc.. I always heard that this is Victoria Beckham's favorite product-well the last few weeks I have been applying it before bed around my eyes and let me tell you I have been very pleasantly surprised-very hydrated and smooth looking when I wake up! I have not even touched any of my other eye creams in about 3 weeks this is just great-I apply it a bit on the upper lid and around the eye area and I really have noticed a difference-its tacky going on but it does absorb and in the morning I have really liked what I see! And of course you can use it for lips and even after you apply shawdow just rub a little big on it and it just shimmers! A tube will last you at least a year or 2 so the price is totally worth it! Great multi use product!

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple High Foaming daily cleanser

Its a good cleanser but I prefer the regular Purity-this tends to be a little drying-if you have real oily skin then this is perfect-mine is dry/combo so this just doesnt work for me (drying) esp now that the weather is cooler-going back to the original Purity (which I adore!)

Although I enjoy the HIAJ original. This is a disappointment. It did feel overly greasy and just uncomfortabe on my face. The price is crazy for this crap. I prefer Kiehls over this for an everyday SPF product. Glad I sampled this on ebay. Not worth the $$

I bought this when it first came out-Its just ok-I didnt really see much benefit from it. I think for the money, save up a little more and get the Estee Lauder serum. Did not break out but it was simply nothing special-

Ok-I cant say how this works for hair/face-but for pregnancy and skin this is the best! Im on my 2nd pregnancy-I have think pale skin that is dry all over-Though millions of women swear by cocoa butter it never seemed to absorb and make my skin really smooth-Coconut oil I swear is soo good for your skin (esp pregnancy) stops the itching and conditions the skin so good-luckily I have not had a single stretch mark (I know stretch marks have more to do with genetics and skin elasticity) but I swear this helps keep it conditioned and my skin very smooth. It is greasy when applied but its totally worth and cheap too! Use organic cold pressed

Complete life changing product!! Obviously with all my reviews I have tried a great deal of products-I am always battling acne, clogged pores and fine lines. Enter the Mia- I have been using this just every other day since December and I feel soo happy.. Not one cyst pimple, blackheads pretty much cleared-occassional tiny (poppable) white head if I use too much sunscreen. My products seem to penetrate better and more even skin tone.. I debated on the original sysem or the Mia and after a lot of reviews I thought the Mia would be easier for me. I have no regrets. Works great (though it is only a minute cycle-but you can do it 2x if you like) Easy to travel with and its small and easy to use in the shower etc. I dont want to be without it! Yes the replacement heads are $$ but check out ebay for deals. Honestly I feel like I dont spend $$ on products that dont deliver.. This is the best.....UPDATE>> I really dont know how I will ever live without this..After years of battling adult acne I can finally say I am completely clear even my unpredicatable hormonal chin is not clogged up anymore! And this is saying it with confidence after one year of using this. I am soo thankful and happy-this product alone has completely changed my skin for the better. Worth every penny-the way you clean your skin is important. And my skin is much happier with this than a harsh abrasive scrub or tons of irritating retinols. I use this and Purity and though I may dabble with moisturizers and serums this and Purity are my mainstays-Even my derm sells Clarisonics now-Life changing product!

Moisturizers -Weleda - Skin Food

With winter, my skin is just erratic-red, dry and just old looking! My other moisturizers were just not cutting it! I remembered my Weleda Skin Food! I just use a little bit and apply like you would La Mer- and I am telling you my skin just loves this.. It is calm, hydrated and balanced. I am very breakout prone and thankfully I have not had a problem. I even use this under my makeup (you must give it time to sink in) and it leaves a nice canvas for MMU. But be sure not to use too much (its not necessary) I actually like this as a facial moisturizer than a body cream(it is quite thick) and yes on the new package it does say you can use this on your face. Target has samples for about $2 so its not an investment to try it. ANd if you dont like it on your face you can try it on your body-Im sure somewhere on the body you will find a place for it-and its all natural!

As someone who is fair, with very thin eyebrows-it has been a constant battle looking for the perfect and natural way to fill in my brows-I looove the concept, packaging and promise of the product-but unfortunatley it did not work on me due to the color-I tried the lightest (way too obvious) and the next shade down (too dark) and just could not get it too work with my neutral fair skin..but give it a try-it was fun to use and I think with someone with a thicker brow it could be wonderful..The search continues....

I generally love MAC but I think the SA recommended the wrong shade! (I swear I could go there every week and each SA would probably tell me each time I was a different shade) I am fair NW20 and she told me to get Medium saying the Light was too pasty on me.. Well at first I thought I liked it but the color is way off-and it seems to turn ruddy or orange by the end of the day...The texture is good,coverage is good but the color seems to change...Just be sure to get the right color

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

After all the hype I bought this, not crazy impressed. In fact feel like it smudged more than any mascara I own. But I have think lashes so maybe this formula is too thick and heavy for me. Not worth the $$ I actually like Benefit Bad Girl Lash better!
