Treatments -Reviva - Hyaluronic Acid Serum

I have very fair, dry skin. Not overly sensitive. I'm frankly shocked at the reviews this product gets. While it's reasonably priced and has a nice pump package, I have two major issues. First, this causes pretty much anything you put on top of it to pill up and smear off. Anything. I'd much prefer a moisturizer with HA in it, like CeraVe PM. I can't use this product alone, and therefore it's pretty useless if I can't put anything on top. Secondly, I do not break out, basically ever and this product has given me massive, painful pimples. I have literally about 8 of them, including one dangerously close to my eyelid where I don't think I can actually treat it with anything. I've also got about 8 on my forehead, but I suppose I'll spare you the details. Not something that provides any real benefit and causes speed bump skin. No thank you.

Self Tanners -Clinique - Face Quick Bronze Tinted Self-Tanner

This is gentle on skin and hasn't broken me out, however, I don't think it actually acts as a self-tanner. The only affect I ever notice is the temporary bronzing of my skin due to the fact that it's tinted. Once I wash my face, it's gone. Also I ALWAYS end up with streaks/lines from the tint even though I'm very careful with it and blend like crazy. It definitely settles heavily into any natural contours of your face. Wouldn't recommend.

Eyeliner -Clinique - Brush-on Cream Liner Smoke Grey

I'll start by saying that the other reviews of this product are mostly accurate, the formula is a little thinner than some other gel liners and it can look patchy. However, for me it actually makes this easier to apply because there is some margin of error that you can work with and correct. Not like MAC fluidline where you basically have one shot to get the line right and any mistake is stuck on your lid until you clean it off. I do one pass on the lashline, then come back and dot over any areas that need more product. No big deal. The color is great, something between brown and grey and a lot more wearable for a daytime look if you have lighter skin (not as harsh as black). I find that the best way to get this, and other gel liners, to apply is to kinda dip the brush down into it, then use the inside of the lid to wipe the brush on to really get the product worked into the brush so that your first "dot" on the lid isn't a big glob of product.

Lip Gloss -Korres - Cherry Full Colour Gloss in 33
HoldMeCloserTonyDanza 12/3/2009 4:31:00 PM
Others have described the color pretty well, medium nude with slight gold shimmer. What I love about this gloss is the consistency and the amazing moisturizing power. I would actually describe this as more of a liquid balm. It's not super shiny when applied but conditions and softens lips so well it's great. Even in dry, cold, windy Michigan. Color is full coverage initially but "melts" well into your lips and eventually leaves more of a soft moisturizing color stain that is semi-sheer. I honestly can NOT get enough Korres products in my kit right now. Love them.

Lipstick -MAC - Blow Dry (Blonde Brunette Redhead)
HoldMeCloserTonyDanza 3/1/2009 3:16:00 PM
This lipstick is what I hoped Strawberry Blonde would be. A perfect sheer medium coral very similar to See Sheer but less opaque IMO. I am NC 15-20, brown hair, brown eyes with an amber hue to them. I love this lipstick for an instant lift to my face. I actually bought a backup which I have never done before. Very minimal shimmer, but enough to give a bit of a gloss finish. Lustre formula so not overly drying but not moisturizing. Looks great with Heatherette Sock Hop lipgloss. A must have for fair, warm-toned gals.

Lipstick -MAC - Scant Slimshine
HoldMeCloserTonyDanza 3/1/2009 3:12:00 PM
This is a nice "natural" rosy color that gives me a very polished look. I'm about NC 15-20 and have amber brown eyes, warm brown hair and med-pigmented lips. Texture is creamy and soft with medium coverage color and a little shine. Color is very similar to CoverGirl Blushberry Trushine, and Benefit Rocket Pop silky lipstick which is described as Terracotta Rose. Pretty accurate description IMO. Gives me an obvious hint of color without looking like too much for the office. I'd say this is a daytime red for me...a browny red with a hint of brick-rose if that makes sense. Love the sleek packaging that the slimshines have. Average staying power, not drying but not super moisturizing either. Would buy again. Benefit Rocket Pop was my HG for this shade but Scant has a bit of shimmer to it which gives a little added dimension and is a nice addition.
