This is a nice, effective mascara. I find it great for everyday use, but doesn't pack the wow factor I like for night.

Conditioner -Suave - Biobasics Conditioner

I'm an African-American woman with natural hair. I stopped using relaxers in April 2008. I use the BioBasics at least twice a week for my co-washes. I love this conditioner. It never leaves my shower. It's very moisturizing and has a light scent. I also leave it on overnight if I'm deep conditioning my hair. My hair feels fluffy soft and is very easy to detangle in the shower. I recommend this to my friends and co-workers all the time. I've had the same big bottle for months. I bought it at my local dollar store for about 4 bucks. Great value and a great product!!!!!

Lipstick -E.L.F. - Ruby

This just became my go-to lip stick!! It glides on and delivers a shine that's not glittery or sticky. My lips feel very moisturzed. I actually prefer this to my usual Chap Stick. For day, I just use a swipe or two and I'm out the door. For night, I apply a bit more. There is a very slight tingle and it has a pepperminty scent, not heavy. This color would compliment a wide variety of skin tones. I'm not a big fan of the twist up stick applicator, but the sponge tip is quite soft and has a good angle. Well worth the cheap cheap price!!

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Non-Stop Eye Color -- Butternut

The colors are very pigmented for such a low-cost item. Usually when I buy a quad, there is at least one color I don't use. However, all four shades are very wearable and would compliment a variety of skin tones. The little q-tip style applicator deposited too much color. I use my ELF eye shadow brush for a more even, precise application. It's easy to build up the color for a day-to-night look. This is a great little gem in the ELF line!
