Cleansers -Kiehls - Ultra Facial Cleanser

This is a freaking AWESOME cleanser- definite HG status. This is kind of expensive, but one bottle will last a very long time, as it only takes a very small amount of this concentrated cleanser to do the job. This removes every trace of makeup and sunscreen (mascara included) with absolutely no drying out of the skin. I use retin-a and this is most definitely compatible. No fragrance- just a simple, straight-forward cleanser. I love how my skin feels simply clean- no dryness, stripping, or promises of miracles. Just cleanliness. Will definitely repurchase.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Guava Lip Butter

Loooove, looooove, love (everybody sing!!) Holy crap. I have this one and the pomegranate one and i LOVE them both. makes lips soft and incredible. i usually use the guava at bed time and the pomegranate with a lip stain. these are the only thing that are any match for my very dry, always flaky lips (20 years of clarinet playing destroyed my lower lip) Thank you Korres!!!! yes it's expensive but when something works this well i really don't care. it is rich so a little goes a long way.

OMG LOVE THIS! It smells good (light floral/powder scent) and is very soothing and maybe a little bit cooling on skin. It is very thick but not greasy at all- soaks in really well with little residue. It's a good, thick, quick to go hand cream. I absolutely adore it. My skin is sooo soft and smooth tonight!!! I don't think I will be without this again.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Flying Fox Shower Gel

Might be the worst smelling shower gel EVER. In the bottle it smells DIVINE if you are a jasmine lover. But then you get in the shower with it and it turns in to MOTH BALLS and DIRT smell. I very nearly puked when I used it earlier. It goes back to the LUSH store tomorrow for sure- I don't even want it in my house. I might be ruined on my beloved jasmine forever, it is that bad!!!!! Please do yourself a favor if you love jasmine- do not buy this absolutely vile smelling concoction. Or, if you must, at least try it in the store- lush is really good about that. See if it smells like mothballs to you. But even my husband asked me what that horrendous smell earlier was.

Best Darn Cuticle Cream ever, Period. If you polish your nails more than once a week, this is a MUST. It does go on greasy, the smell is strong, and the tub is so ginormous that it will definitely last beyond the bogus "expiration date" LUSH puts on their products. Nothing on the planet keeps my cuticles from peeling off than this. Nothing. It is also awesome for heels and elbows.

I seriously love this. It is a great primer and plumper without it making you look like you had "work done". I wear this alone too because of the matte finish. I'll prolly never be without this again!

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Shea Butter Rapid Finish nail spray

Up until now, qtica drops were my quick dry HG go-to. I went through several bottles. I ran out and just couldn't get to Ulta and i didn't need anything else to justify the freight on a zoya order. I was at CVS and saw this and decided to give it a try and am SO GLAD i did! Holy cow! This really does do what it says and it is very moisturizing, which is even better than the Qtica drops. You can smell the almond oil. Two things though: the spray makes this a messy deal as it is pretty well impossible to keep this from getting all over your hands. If you have a dropper, that would possibly help keep this from getting all over by just dropping it onto nails like Qtica drops. Which leads me to the 2nd thing, this stuff is EXTREMELY oily. Like the other poster said, wear old clothes or just be prepared not to be able to touch anything as I could see where this could stain. Otherwise, it is fantastic- generous sized bottle will last and at $6 or so it is a steal. It's great for cuticles too. I won't be without this again!

Masks -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - 40% Lactic Acid Peel

I am about halfway through a sample bottle of the peel and I've been using it for about 6 weeks, so a sample bottle really lasts. I use this once a week and have worked my way up by adding a minute each week, arriving at 7 mins this week but will not take it further than that. There is a learning curve with this and it is very beneficial to take the time to get the curve right. If not, then unnecessary problems and pain will occur and it could be bad. First of all, this is not something you will want to use on the same day as a scrub, even if you are a vet who has used it for a while. Wash as directed on leaflet that comes with product. Next, use the prep solution and thoroughly rub down face with it. Allow to dry THOROUGHLY. Next, pour a bit in the palm of hand and using fingers, rub onto face. for first application, use a sparingly as possible!!!!!! Allow to sit for no more than a minute the first time-even if you don't feel anything. This is a process. Rinse. Wash with a non-alkaline soap (I like Paula's skin balancing or something like that). Rinse, rinse, rinse. This can be a bit hard to wash off but it is important to do so!!!! Once it is gone, then rub down again with the prep. Next week, do the same. Add a minute. WHen you run out of prep (because you will) witch hazel will be fine. But do go ahead and use that solution for the first two weeks.I ran out in the fourth week, but it was long enough for me to tell whether the combo would work out. My skin is INCREDIBLE. My stubborn acne marks are finally fading, and a couple of brown spots are going away. freckles are lighter, blackheads are no more, and the bumpy texture my skin has always had is baby smooth. Not one zit in six weeks. My skin glows, looks tight, and this seems to have helped a tiny bit with oil production. This is an incredible product but I can't stress enough the importance of patience and care. DO NOT use this without patch testing first. This is not the type of thing that you want to find out your skin hates when you have it all over your face!!!!

I love this and it gets top marks from me for portability, price, effectiveness, and convenience. The only thing about it is that it is oil, after all, so it will be a little messy. If you are in a hurry when using this, you'll have to rub it in. I love this wand though. I carry it in my purse and use it about three times a day. Becuase of medications, I have very dry cuticles and this is a life saver. The oil is rich and has a nice smell. Definite re-purchase (and I got this one for free with the purchase of an Essie nail polish at Trade secret).

Treatments -DHC - after bath hair treatment emulsion

I received a sample of this with my most recent DHC catalog. It is WONDERFUL. My hair is not colored, but my hair is very dark brunette with a lot of blonde, and as it continues to grow, my color fades. I am hoping this will help with the fading, but I won't be able to tell for a while. It makes my hair so soft, shiny and manageable, and it is DIRT cheap- even not on sale. I am totally buying a full bottle of this! Once again, another great from DHC!!!!

Shampoo -LUSH - BIG

HOLY GRAIL ALERT! I have thick, wavy hair and this makes my hair so freakin shiny and gorgeous smelling it just makes my day! This is a tricky product to use, and very unique. My hair is dark-ish brown with lots of gold, and it can look brassy, so I also like DaddyO shampoo...so what I do is I mix the two together. I put a dab of DaddyO in my palm, then a dab of BIG, and lather up. THIS works. On it's own I find Big difficult to use but mixing it with another shampoo or using this as a repeat works very well. THis doesn't really make my hair poufy or anything, if anything, it tames it by making it shine. It really does make hair look youthful and beautiful. if this ever gets discontinued I will hunt down the person who would make such an awful decision!

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

How is it possible that I never discovered this before, and that I lived without it before I did??? Very fast drying top coat with an INCREDIBLE shine. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't bubble up or streak. Dries very quickly and protects nails like no other. The best part is it doesn't streak dark nail polishes. I put this on when my nails are still fairly wet, like they do at nail salons. In 5 minutes my nails are dry and set. I won't be without this ever again!

I have a hard time reviewing fragrance because I believe it is a highly personal thing, but I'll give this my best shot. When I first tried this perfume, I didn't swoon over it or love it. I didn't hate it either, I was intrigued by it. I had a deluxe sample of it and continued to use it. It was last winter, during the cool(er) months we have here in Tx, which means it was still in the 80s or so. One afternoon I had this on and I just kept whiffing it and realized I was in love. I have lemming-ed this since and finally broke down and bought an FB over the weekend. Yes, there is a baby powder here for absolute sure, both in the bottle and upon first app. But on me, it dries down into a cozy, sensual vanilly-powdery musk. I sprayed some on yesterday and my husband said, "That's baby powder." But then later, I had him smell it again, and he said, "Now THAT one smells good. WHat is that?" I told him it was the same one he smelled earlier, that it had 'dried down.' He said he finally understands what women mean when we say that. SO my verdict: get a sample and give it a chance. DOn't judge it by the smell from the bottle or the first app. GIve it an hour, then smell it. This is likely how it will smell on you.

Oh man. I got a small sample of this as an extra in a swap. I am in love. This is the MOSt beautiful,delicate, uncomplicated, cleanest violet out there. It is sunshine in a bottle.

Do you know the honeysuckles that grow in the yard...the ones that we used to pluck from the vine and pull the stems out of and lick the honey, when we were children? That honey is what this smells like on me. It is purely divine. It is spring in a bottle.
