Lip Treatments -La Prairie - cellular lip renewal concentrate
HappyGoLucky27 6/3/2011 6:42:00 AM
I have been deciding for ages and ages whether I should buy this lip treatment. My friend recommended this to me a while ago but for AU$140.00 it's not an easy decision! Anyway recently I bit the bullet and bought it and although I've only been using it for a couple of days I must say I'm impressed with this product. You only need a tiny, tiny bit because too much will be waste of product (that you just end up wiping around your mouth so not to waste any of it). It is a nice creamy balm and my lips instantly feels moisturised. My lips are consistently dry and I have spots on my lips and with only a couple of days of use, it is not as noticeable anymore. My lips are soft as well. I will keep using this!! And yes it is worth it, so far so good. Try not to use too much otherwise it ends up in your mouth and it tastes awful.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Keratin Complex Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner
HappyGoLucky27 3/5/2011 4:27:00 AM
I love this deep conditioning mask for my long dry hair. It smells divine and leaves my hair soft and silky and almost frizz-free. It is expensive but I think it's worth it. I will buy it again once I'm finished! I use this as a conditioner as I don't have time to wrap my hair in warm towel and leave for 15min but if you have the time, I'm sure you'll like the result.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear (old formula)
HappyGoLucky27 11/3/2010 4:48:00 AM
This is a nice foundation with medium coverage. I use it with a sponge and it really does give you a dewy finish. I have really oily skin so I do need to powder my face a few times a day. Unfortunately it's not as long lasting as I'd like and by the end of the day, I do need to reapply my foundation (I have very oily skin so I expect it). I prefer pump bottles so this foundation has lost a point for that.

Shampoo -TiGi - S-Factor Color Savy Sulfate Free Shampoo
HappyGoLucky27 9/26/2010 1:21:00 AM
I got Keratin treatment so I started looking for sulphate free shampoo to prolong the life of the treatment. I've used S Factor before and love love the smell. The shampoo is a bit drying I think and I find that I need a lot of conditioner as my hair is very long so I have to take extra care on the ends but I think the conditioner does a pretty good job. My hair does feel soft (and it's not just because of the keratin treatment as I said I've used it before). I buy this online so I think for the price it isn't too bad and I'll repurchase again.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Tanda Skincare System
HappyGoLucky27 9/21/2010 8:54:00 AM
I finally purchased Tanda Rejuvenate Anti-Ageing device after reading about it here and on other forums. It costs AU$495.00 in Australia and only available through The Shaver Shop as far as I know. eBay sell this as well at around $400.00 but I thought for something this expensive, I might as well buy it from a shop so that if there's any problems I can take it to the shop to have it fixed. Tonight is the first time I tried this so there are no difference on my face yet, I'm looking forward to waking up tomorrow to see if there's any improvements. My skin is very oily and I have a few acne scars I'm trying to get rid of and I'm crossing my fingers it works! What I wanted to mention was, I am also having the same issue with the charger. I have fully charged the device but the only way I can get the switch to turn green and stay green (and for the red light to come on) is while the device is still in the charge stand, which means I'm holding the whole unit going round and round on my face! I've tried taking it out of the stand but it just switches off. I'm not very impressed by this and it seems it's a common problem with the Tanda device. Also, once you've finished doing your face, does anyone use moisturiser afterwards? And eye creams? I'm not sure if you're supposed to or not although I did tonight. So far my review isn't that good but if/when I see improvements I'll update. I'm hoping for a miracle and hopefully my acne scars disappear within the next few months! I will keep my post updated!

Mascara -Max Factor - Lash Extension Effect Waterproof
HappyGoLucky27 3/13/2010 12:56:00 AM
I didn't like this mascara much, unfortunately it didn't do much for my lashes. I always buy waterproof mascaras as they hold the curl of the lashes but this one did not. I found the long wand was a bit hard to use as there was not as much control. Just another average mascara. The packaging is a black sleek tube, quite nice.

Liquid -Christian Dior - DiorSkin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup SPF
HappyGoLucky27 3/8/2010 12:52:00 AM
Purchased this product recently after reading the reviews from here. I have very oily skin with large pores and I'm trying to find a foundation that will stop the shine, or at least reduce it so that I don't have to touch up so often during the day. I usually use powder foundation but decided to give liquid foundation a go (powder foundation wasn't working for me any more). I purchased the Light Beige shade which is a pretty good shade for me as I am asian but have olive-ish complexion. The foundation goes on smoothly (I use my finger to blend) and I set the foundation with my Sisley powder (I have both the loose powder and the compact powder). The first hour i'm very happy with the result as it gives a nice glow however by morning tea I have to powder my face! I've tried with Laura Mercier oil free primer and no primer but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The foundation is nice though as I like the texture (not runny, nice consistency) and the tube is absolutely gorgeous and I like that it is a pump bottle and I will continue to use it however I'm still searching for a foundation that will stay MATT all day long.

Mascara -Becca - Ultimate Mascara
HappyGoLucky27 3/8/2010 12:43:00 AM
I am searching for my HG mascara and I thought a mascara called 'Ultimate' would end my search but no. I'm quite disappointed with this mascara as it did nothing for my lashes at all. I'm used to wearing waterproof mascara however I've tried this on it's own and over a waterproof mascara thinking it might at least give me volume (as I do with other non waterproof mascaras) but it didn't do anything for me. Non waterproof mascara don't hold the curls either and for those interested if it did hold the curls, no it didn't. No volume, no length, definitely no wow factor. Paid almost AU$50 for this tube. Won't be buying again.

Mascara -Max Factor - False lash effect
HappyGoLucky27 9/19/2009 12:39:00 AM
I like my high-end mascaras and I'm a huge fan of mascaras that give you false looking lashes (when I go out I'll use two different mascaras). I gave this one a go because it was on special for only AU$15.00. I usually only buy mascaras from department stores and not chemists because I find their quality better. I found this one quite average...the SA told me that this will really give you false looking lashes but it doesn't. But what I do like about this mascara is that it holds my curls! Not many mascaras do so I was pleasantly surprised. The downside I find is that the mascara is bulky and also the brush is too big. I will not buy this again if it's not on special but for $15.00 I might if I don't find anything better.

Cleansers -DHC - Mild Touch Cleansing Oil
HappyGoLucky27 7/23/2009 2:34:00 AM
This oil cleanser is a milder version of the original DHC cleansing oil. It comes in a cute 150ml pink bottle. It's claimed that it removes all make up just like the original version but I'm not so sure. I've used the original version and I find it quite oily but it does remove ALL waterproof makeup pretty much effortlessly whereas with the milder versions you need a few extra pumps. However I do like how it feels after washing it off and it doesn't sting your eyes as much. I would buy it again though as the bottle is cute and it's great for everyday make up.

Treatments -Clairol - Colorseal
HappyGoLucky27 7/23/2009 2:29:00 AM
This 57ml blue tube comes with the Clairol home colouring kit to be used as treatment. It leaves your hair really silky smooth, better than a lot of the treatments I've used including Kerastase (I raraly use supermarket shelved products) but I'm very impressed with this one. It was sitting in the cabinet for ages as I usually use Kerastase mask after colouring my hair but I went away and this time decided that I didn't want to carry bulky items so decided to take this little tube along with me and fell in love with it! It's available to buy on its own but it is quite dear considering it's only a small bottle. I didn't give it a 5 because after I've used it a few times, my hair got used to it (even though I use other treatments in between) and it's not as good as it was the very first time I used it. But I would definitely buy again, probably not on it's own but with the colouring kit.

Fragrances -Chloe - Chloe (EDP new)
HappyGoLucky27 4/21/2009 11:02:00 PM
This is my fave fave fave perfume! I wear it all the time, doesn't matter to me whether this is day day time or night time perfume. Whenever I wear it people compliment me and my friends have gone out and purchased it after they smelled this on me! The bottle is absolutely gorgeous but it is very pricey. I hope they come in travel size (like Chanel does) so that I can carry it everywhere with me. Will definitely repurchase.

Mascara -Helena Rubinstein - Surreal
HappyGoLucky27 4/21/2009 6:49:00 AM
I'm a huge fan of Lash Queen (waterproof) so I thought I'd give this one a go...and I didn't like it. It didn't hold the curl (I curl my lashes with eyelash curler) at all even when I used a primer. It did give some volume and length but overall for the price, it's not that great. Will not purchase again.

Powder -Sisley - Botanical Pressed Powder Soft Glow
HappyGoLucky27 4/20/2009 11:15:00 PM
Fantastic pressed powder which gives soft shimmery glow to your complexion. I also have the loose powder version as I love this product so much (please see my review of the loose powder version)!! I don't like the plastic of the packaging so much as it feels a bit cheap but it does come in the velvety pouch and with large mirror which is convenient and it is a slim compact so it fits anywhere.

Powder -Sisley - Loose Powder
HappyGoLucky27 4/20/2009 11:10:00 PM
Recently purchased this Sisley loose powder and although it's pricey, it is a fantastic product. I bought the one in Irislee which is transparent but with has soft shimmery particles which adds luminosity to the complexion. It doesn't change the colour of the foundation but gives a soft glow which I love. It goes well with all foundation. The powder is very soft and settles nicely into the foundation. I like it so much I also bought the pressed powder version of the exact product to take it out with me for touch ups.
