Foundations -Eve Pearl - High Definition Dual Foundation with CosmeNutrients
Hanns93 4/12/2013 6:12:00 PM
Pros: - Great for sensitive skin - Great coverage. - It's HD - No need to struggle with the perfect shade, all you need is the compact with one side is lighter than your skin, and the other darker. That's how its designed to work. - For a cream foundation, it's very lightweight. - Lasting power is decent. Cons: - If you have very dry skin, you have to use a rich moisturizer underneath because it dries very matte. - It product doesn't really last that long on the pan. depending on your usage, you may have to repurchase more often. Everyone must keep in mind, these products are designed to be applied using the Eve Pearl Method. It takes a little bit if practice, but the result, when done correctly, is great!

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation
Hanns93 4/5/2013 12:27:00 AM
Pros: - SUPERB finish. I don't know how they do it. Soft and smooth and natural and just FLAWLESS. - Photographs beautifully. No flashback. - Great coverage. - Extremely blendable. A little goes a long way. - Great lasting power. Cons: - You will more than likely breakout with this foundation. :( - No SPF. :( - The packaging SUCKS. Get a pump, for crying out loud! - Expensive, (but worth it!) This is one of my top three FAVORITE foundations in the whole world. (Others being MUFE HD and YSL Touche Eclat). Your skin is guaranteed to look fantastic with this foundation!

BB Cream -L'Oreal - Youth Code BB Cream Illuminator
Hanns93 4/5/2013 12:16:00 AM
Pros: - Redness in my skin was improved a little after about a week. - I had fewer breakouts. - It's not too pigmented; so the color choices are very forgiving. - It doesn't turn orange! Yay! - IT'S NOT CAKEY! YES!!! Cons: - Coverage is only OK. If stippled with a brush you can get a little bit more. - It has a bit of a dirty gritty feeling while on your skin. Bluh. - If applied too heavily, it can look shiny. This is the first drugstore BB Cream I've liked. The only one that actually does what it claims. Better than a tinted moisturizer but not the best BB Cream, I'm sure. A good basic option though.

Foundations -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Matchmaker
Hanns93 4/5/2013 12:05:00 AM
Pros: - Made with high quality argon oil, (fantastic for your skin) - It's WITHOUT: Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan. - It's completely HD! A very subtle finish. - No need to struggle finding a shade, it adjusts to your own color. - This stuff seriously clears acne. For real. - All natural and organic ingredients. Clear conscience! Cons: - Not the cheapest product. - No SPF :( - Probably not as much product as some are used to. You'll will have to repurchase more often. - Not very full coverage. I'm not sure why this is getting so many bad reviews. You HAVE to keep in mind, that this is NOT a foundation for coverage. so many people are complaining about it, but the great thing about this foundation is that its practically skincare too. So eventually you wont HAVE to wear heavy foundation. I got so many complements about my skin after using this for just over a week!

Hair -Rusk - W8less Plus Hairspray
Hanns93 10/2/2012 6:33:00 PM
This is the first hairspray that doesn't make my hair sticky or stiff! It doesn't weigh my hair down, and you can't really notice I have hairspray in my hair. Its especially good for keeping curls, as it doesn't weigh the hair down. Other hairsprays didn't really work on my hair and I had always struggled to find a good one. For a while Rusk was only sold at professional stores, but Target has recently started carrying it! Wahoo!

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin
Hanns93 10/2/2012 6:25:00 PM
I was SUUPPPPEERRR excited about this product merely because I love UrbanDecay. The girl that gave the sample to me told me it was one of her favorites, and pointed to her face saying that she was wearing it right then. As I looked at her face my heart sank a little because her makeup was thick and a bit cakey and it settled into her lines. I went home hoping it would turn out different. I tried it out, and was disappointed. It made my skin look really dry, and it looked cakey even though I didn't pile it on. Thats really the only complaint I had, even the color was pretty good. I tried it for a few days and I still got the same result. But I really didint like the way it looked. Too bad, I really wanted to like it.

Treatments (Eye) -Rimmel - Lash Accelerator Serum
Hanns93 10/2/2012 5:58:00 PM
I used this after I couldn't afford the L'Oreal version anymore. I was happier with the price, but I have to give this an average rating. The brush it came with wasn't very practical, a brush would have worked a little better. The serum itself is pretty thin, which can be a good thing because it means it will last longer. But whenever I got it too close to my eyes, it burned like heck. I did notice that my lashes are a little stronger, but don't stand a chance when I apply mascara to them. They can get very stiff and even fall OUT when I remove it with makeup remover. I used a little less of the serum and it seemed a little better. I think I will finish this off, and then switch back to the L'Oreal.

Treatments (Eye) -L'Oreal - Lash Boosting Serum
Hanns93 10/2/2012 5:48:00 PM
I used this for a little while, and I LOVED it! After I ran out, I needed a less expensive alternative, so I picked up the Rimmel version. I have to say, I miss the other one. I will definitely be switching back! And this time I'm using this for good!

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara
Hanns93 10/2/2012 5:30:00 PM
I'm not sure people are so dissatisfied with this mascara! I makeup a lot of people, and I work for a historically dramatic television show so my clients cannot look like they have mascara on. I use this, and only this. Its thin, wet, smooth, perfectly buildable, and so far has not dried out the lashes. I think people have to keep in mind while buying this, that this mascara has MANY different applicator brushes. You can buy several different shaped brushes with different widths, which will give you very different results. Everyone compares this one to the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. My co-worker and mentor uses L'Oreal Voluminous and loves it. I have used both. Honestly, my opinion is that the choice between these two mascaras are personal preference. They are both decent mascaras, its all about what you like and what you need for that time.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
Hanns93 10/2/2012 5:14:00 PM
Pros: -It smells really good! My hubby always complemented me when I wore it. -A little goes a pretty long way. -Color doesn't really matter that much, as its not that pigmented and one of the three choices will blend to your own color. Cons: -The finish isn't that great. I found it looking a bit greasy on my skin. I tried using powder over it, but it didn't seam to do much. My skin isn't very oily either. -It did break me out. I used it for about two weeks, hoping it would get better, but my breakouts got worse. -It looked kind of cakey if you built it up at all. I wanted to like this product, but it just didn't work for me. I know people that love this product. If you have sensitive skin I wouldn't suggest this. Nor for oily skin. I suppose with enough time, and regular usage, this product could be great, but I ended up returning mine.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer spf15
Hanns93 10/2/2012 4:56:00 PM
Pros: -Light Moisturizer-its not too heavy or thick. -It has SPF 15 which is GREAT. You protect your skin every day without taking an extra step. -It really does even out your skin. I get so many complements! -It also smooths out your skin! -Its great for sensitive skin, Aveeno is a great brand that wont destroy your skin. Cons: -The price sucks. I get mine for 14.95 at Walmart. Thankfully I only need to rebuy every three months or so. -It may break you out at first, especially if you have acne-prone skin. I've been using this moisturizer for several years and I am very surprised its getting so many bad reviews! Recently I switched to a (cheaper) more intense moisturizer for about a month. My skin went crazy. blochy, red, and even drier than before. I switched back and viola! I dont think I can ever use anything else, this is one of my must haves.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
Hanns93 10/1/2012 10:18:00 PM
I had been searching for an inexpensive foundation to use everyday between my "high -end" choice. Something that would last a while, own a comfortable consistency, cover decently, and not look bad on my skin. I'd always known the general hype behind this product, but I'd never tried it. So I decided to buy it. Pros: Very buildable coverage Pretty blendable-I think. Perfect finish-not too dewy, not too matte. Lasts an acceptable amount of time while wearing it. Applys best with a thick, flat foundation buffing brush. Cons: Color was okay-I found one that works but it's still iffy. I know everyone has mentioned this, but there is no pump. I personally don't mind this, but it wouldn't hurt to make one. All in all, I do really like this foundation, I always forget how good it is, and then I start using it again. I don't really have a lot of complaints about it, as i think its pretty reliable If you have oily skin I would suggest, of course, the oily formula version. I would recommend this to a friend and I will be buying this again!
