Bought this product last month. I've had great expectation on this product because of the raves here at Makeup Alley. The price was expensive but I didn't mind as long as it could deliver as to its claim. However, the result was opposite. Instead of clearing the pimples I have, it didn't do anything to shrink them. And aside from that, this gave me a cystic pimple on my neck. I was sure of that 'cause I tested it on my neck. I applied it for two consecutive nights and I noticed a cystic pimple sprouted on my once flawless neck. On the other hand, this has a smoothening effect on the texture of my neck and it has a lightening effect on scars.(tried it on one pimple mark which lightened considerably after two nights of spot application)..Won't repurchase
I actually liked this powder because of the natural looking and flawless finish that it gives. It didn't give me breakouts. The first time I tried it, my face became a little itchy but then the itchiness didn't last for long. I have an oily and sensitive skin so I thought It wasn't for me. But then I continued using it because it reduces the shine on my face. And later on, I found out that the culprit was the toner that I use because when I stopped it, the pimples subsided too. I just don't like the powder puff that comes with it. So I use another applicator instead of the original one that comes with the packaging. Just an advice: this is not good for very dry skin because it has a tendency to settle into lines and pores. If you have dry skin, better put on moisturizer first or if you're not comfortable with applying moisturizer before makeup, better wet the sponge applicator first. That works for me and gives a glowing, and dewy finish...Hope they won't discontinue this. Update: My face broke out a few days ago and this is the culprit. I learned that once you've been using this foundation for a long time, the skin will develop an allergic reaction, I don't know if it's with the formula or the minerals. I was kind of skeptic at first but then my aunt confirmed my suspicion. I recommended this powder to her and she's been using this on her sensitive acne prone skin for sometime until she told me she also broke out lately..I have to switch to a new product..
I purchased a small bottle of castor oil in the drugstore and decided to try it on my lashes and brows since I've read a lot of good reviews on the internet. I tried to apply it using a Q-tip at first but the oil is so thick and I can't help but put on too much of it on the Q tip. Some oil got into my eyes and it's really uncomfortable having sticky eyes that my lashes stick to each other when I blink. So I stopped for a while. Then I read another way to put this on without the product getting inside my eyes. I cleaned an old clear mascara container and make sure that no mascara is left inside. Then I transferred some castor oil in the container and applied it like I would with any mascara. Then i also put some over my brows..The result was pretty impressive..I've noticed that my brows are growing longer and my lower lashes became noticeable. The only downside is I got pimples on my forehead and between my brows. So, maybe I'll just apply it on my upper and lower lashes..
Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar

Bragg's apple cider has been in my kitchen for many years and I use it as a facial toner mixed with green tea. I researched over the net that it is naturally rich in alpha hydroxy acids making it a potent natural skin exfoliator. The smell stinks though. But once it dries, the odor fades too. I dilute this with equal parts of water and green tea and apply it on my face using a clean cotton ball. I swear by its smoothening and anti-aging effect! My skin feels so smooth, and my pimples dry up! I have tried a lot of toners ranging from cheap to expensive ones but I always go back to this homemade mixture..Definitely recommend this to any girl out there..won't harm your skin even if you have sensitive and oily skin! two thumbs up!!!
Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

This is a must-have in my purse or bag, whichever I plan to take with me. I usually apply foundation in the morning before going to the office and I don't bring my powder for touch-ups. I only use this on my face when I feel that I look haggard or my face starts to look shiny. And alas! the oil is gone and it looks like I just applied powder on my face..Love this!
Mascara -Etude - Etude House: Lash Designing Vitcara

I bought this impulsively at etude house when I was looking for a good mascara to make my lashes fuller without smudging and clumping. The saleslady told me that it is rubberized, easily removed with soap and water, and doesn't smudge. I was excited to use the product so I immediately applied it when I got home. It made my lash look fuller and darker but after a few hours, I noticed that there were black shades under my eyes just which made me look like I have dark circles. So I gave it to my mom. I won't buy this again.
