HG product. Has completely transformed my face. I have slightly oily skin that is prone to clogs and the occasional cystic pimple. I used BHA products in the past, only to have them stop working on me. This is just awesome. I had lots of stubborn clogs that would turn into pimples that would linger for weeks. Got rid of my stubborn clogged pores around my chin and forehead COMPLETELY. It has also left my face as smooth as a baby's bottom and hydrates my face just perfectly. Looks great under makeup. Cannot praise this product enough, I'm so glad I discovered it.
Wow! Best volumizing product I've ever tried. I'm always trying new prodcuts claiming to bring flat hair to life: mousses, sprays, gels, etc. I have fine/thin hair and am a slave to teasing/backcombing just to get my hair to look normal. This stuff does stuff just what it says: adds fabulous body and texture. No need for teasing anymore. The best part about this product is I can be like a normal person and not have to wash my hair everyday, as it keeps oil at bay. Also, I found a huge bottle of this at TJ Maxx for $12.99. The only downside is it is slightly drying, my ends are starting to feel kinda crunchy.
I really love when a product does what it says it will do. This stuff is just amazing. It really looks like you're wearing false lashes, I just can't praise this mascara more. It does take some practice to achieve the ideal look. LESS is MORE when using it. Applying the base coast ever so lightly is really the trick here. I've used other mascaras with the fibers and they work just as well. Trust me, you need this in your life!
Wow. This is stuff is bad. I used to LOVE this product before they reformulated it. The old formula was smooth and moisturizing, making it next to impossible to mess up. It also left a nice sheen, with a nice amount of gold shimmer on your skin. The new formula dries way too quick, allowing for lots of streakiness. And damn is this stuff sticky! Anyways, it left me looking quite orange, even with my pink skintone. The worst is the new amount of "shimmer": straight up silver glitter. And I mean tons and tons of glitter. Blech.
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

Beautiful lengething mascara without clumps. Too bad it doesn't hold a curl! I curled my lashes, applied this mascara, a few minutes later my lashes fell completely flat and straight. This makes it completely useless to me!
Wow, another great find, thanks to MUA! As a high-end snob, I had low expectations for the performance of this brush (or any other DS brush, for that matter!) I was looking for a new powder brush, as I wanted to start using my MAC duo fibre brush for my foundation instead of powder. Well, let me tell you, I think it works better than the MAC brush! Its so so soft and applies my setting powder so beautifully. I was very pleasantly surprised!
I don't get all the hype about this product. It's a great detangler, but that's about it. Doesn't make my hair feel that silky, infact, it made it kinda greasy. It's just "meh," in my opinion. Definitely not worth the price.
HG HG HG!!! I've been using this for the last ten or so years. It is maybe my favorite makeup item of all time. It is just so beautiful and natural looking: a dark coppery brown with tiny gold flecks. Looks great on everyone. I wear this every day and even at my wedding! Perfect daytime alternative to black liner. Great smooth, yet not greasy consistency; glides on perfectly. The only downfall is the price :(
Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Waterproof Mascara

I am shocked at the reviews claiming it was not waterproof! I wonder if they accidentally bought the washable version... This is HG mascara! I have tried everything with hype: Lancome, Tarte, Buxom, etc. I look for a mascara's ability to hold a curl, because it seems as though most do the exact opposite. This stuff holds a curl, is not clumpy at all, does not flake or smear, and it stays in water excellent. I get complimented on my lashes all the time, and I am constantly recommending this mascara!

Great product! I was using Osis Dust It (also by Schwarzkopf) until I started hearing all the buzz about this product on MUA. This product is identical to Osis, and costs less than a third of the price!! I sprinkle this directly on my hair, around the crown, then I tease a little and have amazing volume all day. I have thin fine hair that looks greasy just one day after washing, but I just use a little of this and no more greasies. All thin haired girls should try this product.
Pros: -Great coverage -Wide array of colors Cons -Made my normal skin break out like crazy. Still have scars from when I was using it! -Bad packaging prone to bacteria growth (wish it had a pump or squeeze tube). Made of glass, dropped it and broke on bathroom floor -Has a strong fragrance that I COULD NOT STAND. Old lady smell that lingers for the entirety of the day.
*Tear* I wanted this curler to work so badly! After using it for the last sixth months, I can only assume I have the wrong shape of eye for it to work effectively. I am caucasian and have average-sized almond eyes. Using an eyelash curler is maybe the most important part of my beauty routine, the one essential I could never live without, which is why I was so frustrated and dissapointed with this tool. The first thing I noticed about this curler was how large the eye portion was. It was way too long for my eyes and pinched the inner corner upon every use. Second, it seems too flat (as other reviewers have mentioned) and not curved enough to accomodate all my lashes, meaning that I would have to curl my lashes in sections (which I wouldn't mind if the resulting curl was amazing). The most dissapointing aspect of this eyelash curler, however, is how little curl is actually achieved! I generally use a pulsing motion, squeezing the curler along the length of my lashes so as to create a natural curl as opposed to a 90 degree bend. But using the Shiseido curler, I couldn't get my naturally long lashes to perk up nearly as well as I could with my cheapie drug store brand eyelash curler. One a final note, it seemed as though the pad wore out rather quickly.
Ok, I am a nail polish addict and here is the rundown on HT nail polishes: -Yes, they are streaky -They are opaque in about 52 coats -They chip after about 2 days, even with a nice top coat BUT they are totally worth it BECAUSE.... -They come in the most awesome, vibrant colors that I have not seen anywhere else -They are only $2.99! -They look AMAZING with a shiny topcoat -If you change your polish on a daily basis like me, then you don't have to worry about chipping
I have a love/hate relationship with Bare Minerals foundation. I have been using it for the last 6 years and I get TONS of compliments when I wear this. It really makes your face looks flawless and the bit of sheen it has gives a beautiful, glowing finish. As far as the finish, I haven't found anything that comes close. I also like the fact that you can achieve a wide range of coverage-from light to full- with this stuff. Now the cons: to get full coverage (which I like), you have to use a ton of product and spend a long time layering, and boy is it messy (My fiance banned me from using BM in our bathroom or in his car) When using this on a daily basis, I go through one container every three weeks or so. Second, to get this stuff to stick to your face you have to use a pretty emollient moisturizer. This means that I get greasy after just a short while after wearing this foundation. Also, BM is not good for photographs. The SPF and the mica particles=major ghost face in pics. Lastly I just want to point out that THIS FOUNDATION IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN! It caused me to have breakouts of eczema around my cheeks and everytime I put it on my skin itches. I don't know why this is being marketed to people with sensitive skin because it is not hypoallergenic.
Pros: *Got rid of all my blackheads, which was my main skincare concern *Not drying *Lasts a very long time *Very inexpensive Cons: *Did not help my acne breakouts *Has fragrance *Does not moisturize my face effectively, still need a moisturizer
