Wow. This stuff is cheap! ($2.48 US at a discount department store) And to top it off it works quite well. I purchased it in black and the color is a deep and velvety. It goes on like ink. It's absolutely lovely. I'm a beginner when it comes to liquid liners, but this seemed to go on fairly easily. I get a nice thin line when I want it thin and a very pretty cat eye flick when I want to go that way as well.
I love love love love this product! I have a vintage rockabilly style, and have always worn dark lipstick. I get frustrated with having to reapply my lipstick every hour (sometimes less) and the "long wear" brands I have tried just didn't look good at all. I felt like I had a layer of spackle over my lips! Sheer Wash lasts FOREVER. I've had it on for 10 hours today and the color has not faded a bit. It doesn't rub off on my husbands cheek when I kiss him. I don't leave lipstick rings on my coffee mugs. It's great. You can really control the level of color by using a few layers of stain. Anything from a very light hint to a nice dark hue. I love the Sheer Magic shade. I have very pale skin but am of eastern European heritage, and so my skin has yellow and olive undertones. It's usually pretty difficult for me to find shades that work perfectly on their own. I've become the queen of blending. But Sheer Magic is great as is. It does take a little practice to get the application right, but once you figure out what works it goes on like a dream.
