BB Cream -MISSHA - Cho Bo Yang BB Cream
rated 5 of 5
GreenTea02 7/14/2012 7:36:00 PM

This BB cream is THE BEST I have tried! Believe me, I have tried almost every Asian brand under the sun!(Perfect Cover, Skin 97 Diamond, Skinfood Mushroom, Dr Jart++ to name a few). Cho Bo Yang has medium to heavy coverage and can be built up to hide redness, acne scars, and discoloration. The consistency is much thicker than M perfect cover. The smell is medicinal and semi-perfume-y. It reminds me of a Chinese herb & medicine shop. I use a pea size amount for my face and blend with a bare minerals kabuki brush. It appears very white (no gray cast) at first, but within 5 mins blends into your skin color. The oil control is great (compared to perfect cover), but I have dry skin so that may be why I don't have a shine by mid day. I wear it for a full eight hours to work with one touch up on the 5th hour. It gives my skin a glowing look without looking oily. It also appears the most natural looking out of all the BB creams I have tried. A deal breaker for me is if it causes breaks outs. This one DOES NOT ;) I am very happy with this bb cream. I will be buying another bottle.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Aztec - Indian Healing Clay
rated 4 of 5

I really enjoy this product. I use it on my entire face once a week and spot treat on pimples as needed. I use organic apple cider vinegar, 3-5 drops of lavender oil, and 1 tsp of organic manuka honey. I do not use braggs AC vinegar because it is too harsh for my dry skin. It does genuinely feel as if you face is pulsating. If you are sensitive to pain this may hurt, but I actually like it. It lets me know it is working. I sometimes vary the mixture with milk or tea tree oil depending on how dry or broken out my skin is. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because it can not bring under-the-skin acne to the surface. After 3 months of solid use I can confidently say it helps maintain my clear skin. Make sure you moisturize after as it eliminates all oils on the skin. For reference, I have sensitive, dry skin with occasional acne (4-6 pimples) on my jawline. I would buy this again.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Invigorating Apricot Scrub
rated 5 of 5
GreenTea02 11/19/2011 6:07:00 PM

I use this scrub 1x every 3 days. I find it too harsh to be a daily cleanser. It dries out my sensitive skin, leaving arid patches on my nose and cheeks. When I do use I can definitely see a difference. My skin is brighter and make up/moisturizer adheres to my skin better. I like to leave it on for 3 mins to allow the fruit and flower extracts to take affect on the skin. When rinsed it leaves no residue. I am also very fond of the scent. It entices me to eat an apricot ;)

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Shine Pink
rated 4 of 5
GreenTea02 11/19/2011 4:59:00 PM

This perfume smells like sugar cookies with a hint of lavender & vanilla. I like wearing it all year long. I apply by spraying the perfume in the air, then walking through it. When I want a full-bodied scent I spray it directly on the insides of my wrists and rub on my neck and body. The bottle is adorable; a purple star accented by 2 rhinestone hearts in the upper right corner. The perfume bottle is stored upside down allowing the star to remain upright. Its dual use as a perfume & sink decoration ;) Minus 1 star because it sometimes gives me a headache.

Lotions/ Creams -Victoria's Secret - Ultra-Softening Body Butter -- Love Spell
rated 5 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 9:21:00 PM

My Favorite body butter from the Victoria's Secret scent line. I prefer this over the lotion because of it's thick, creamy consistency. It absorbs into my skin quickly and leaves me smelling like "love spell" all day. The scent isn't as noticeable as the body spray. It also leaves my clothes smelling clean. Some may not like that it requires you to dip your hands in the container, but I don't mind. I always apply with clean hands, so sanitation isn't a problem. I will continue to buy this lovely body butter.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Dream Angels Heavenly
rated 2 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 9:06:00 PM

A sickly-sweet scent. The scent is very heavy and dense when first sprayed. Given time, it tones down to a lighter vanilla/powder. I tend to wear this perfume only in the winter. In the summer the heat makes the perfume overbearing and suffocating. I wear it sparingly. I just can't get over the strong, sweet, baby powder smell.

Fragrances -Ralph Lauren - Ralph Rocks

What an amazing floral, fruity, and water-like scent. When I spray this in the air I instantly think of summer. Although it is fall/winter now I still wear it on special occasions. This perfume is lightly scented and soft enough that it can be worn everyday. My favorite way to wear this is to spray it on my scarves and gloves. When I'm extra daring I'll mist it in my hair. Buy this scent, you will not be disappointed.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Gaga
rated 5 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 6:35:00 PM

Gosh, I love this lipstick. It is a beautiful, bubblegum pink that compliments my fair skin. When worn alone it tends to seep into every crack and dry nook of your lips. So, I always do a lip scrub, apply lip balm, then apply the LG lipstick to achieve a more polished look. Sometimes I will apply a clear gloss. I pair this lipstick with black lined eyes (softly lined) and mascara ONLY because this lipstick deserves to stand out. I regret not buying 2. Now, it's no longer available.... ANYONE KNOW OF A DUPE OF THIS LIPSTICK??

Eyeliner -Clinique - Brush-on cream liner in TRUE BLACK
rated 5 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 6:17:00 PM

Wonderful creme eyeliner. This was my first experience with creme eyeliner and I'm glad I chose this brand. The brush that accompanies the creme liner is too small to hold and the bristles aren't stiff enough for me. Instead, I use an E.L.F angled eyeliner brush to apply. The name speaks for itself as it is true black. It is intensely pigmented and requires one application to achieve a rich black line. I use this to line my upper eyelids and create a cat-eye. It glides on smoothly every time. It lasts an entire work day and through nights of dancing. I have been using the same pot for 8 months and it has yet to dry out.

Primer/ Corrector -Bare Escentuals - Bare Vitamins Skin Rever Upper
rated 1 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 5:24:00 PM

Absolutely Useless! First off, I received this with the bare minerals starter kit. I would always put it on under my powder/foundation and tricked myself into thinking it worked. It does nothing for my skin. It does not cause the powder to adhere to my skin, does not last through sweat, does not give a dewy look, NOTHING!!! On top of that it smells gross, like bathroom cleaner. I will never buy this again. Only positive is it did not cause me to break out when worn alone. Side Note: I stopped using BE because their powders/shadows/bronzers/blushes irritate my skin.

Eyes -E.L.F. - 32 shadow palette
rated 3 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 4:42:00 PM

A multi-use palette for me; I own the palette that is in the 2nd picture. I do admit that the colors aren't as vibrant as MAC, Nars, Urban Decay, and Benefit shadows but, the use of a primer helps bring out the colors. My favorite colors are the first row (Contains golds and brows). I use this row to shade in my eyebrows, line my waterline, and create a bronze-gold eye. The bottom row is my least favorite (Black and silver colors). 3 of the colors are exactly alike. The ones that do stand alone are either not pigmented enough or too powdery. The shadows also cause fallouts' and fade with time if you do not prime your lids. I find that the green, blue, and purple shadows are difficult to build color. It takes 5-7 swipes for the color to come through on my medium fair skin. Overall, I can't complain for $5. It's a damn good palette for beginners ;) My complaints -The palette lid broke off in less than a month -Bottom row colors too similar -Bright colors hard to build color -Some colors too powdery

Treatments -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream
rated 4 of 5
GreenTea02 11/18/2011 2:07:00 PM

I use this product once at night (I have the night creme version with no SPF) right after cleansing my skin. I use a pearl size amount to cover my face and neck with a bit leftover for my hands. It absorbs quickly into the skin. Leaves my dry skin hydrated and soft. The retinol keeps my chin and forehead clear, but it does not cause flaking, dry skin to achieve this result. I also use it under my eyes and on my eyelids. I have yet to see the anti-wrinkle properties of the creme. I have fine lines under my left eye and no improvement (with the use of 5 weeks). I will continue to buy because it does a great job maintaining a clear complexion.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Small Angled Brush
rated 4 of 5
GreenTea02 11/17/2011 11:08:00 PM

Great for applying eyeshadows in wet form, but creates a sloppy cat eye. The brush is too thick to create a smooth, thin line for the "wings." That was the reason I purchased this brush.... Great for applying eyeshdadows to the waterline. I can use any eyeshadow and turn it into a liquid liner using rosewater. I have been using this brush for over a year now and it is still in pristine condition. NO shedding or falling apart like other elf brushes.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Foundation brush
rated 3 of 5
GreenTea02 11/17/2011 10:38:00 PM

I use this brush to apply my Missha BB cream on the sides of my nose and under my eyes. I do not use it to apply to my entire face. The bristles are too thick, which leaves streaks of foundation on my face. Also, the brush soaks up too much of the foundation. I prefer applying with clean hands. I would buy again because it does a great job blending in the foundation into the delicate skin under the eye ;)

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Angled Eyeliner brush
rated 4 of 5
GreenTea02 11/17/2011 10:07:00 PM

I want to start off by saying I apply liquid eyeliner POORLY... I have been wearing make up since 2001 and I still can not achieve a flawless cat eye with a steady hand. Well, those days are over!!! With this little gadget I can create beautiful, bold, multi-colored lines using gel, liquid, AND cream eyeliner. The small tip is perfect for creating the cat eye. I also like this brush because it is not too thick. I can wear my gel/cream daily because it crafts a thin line with an initial stroke. The thin line is natural and doesn't make you look like you're about to go clubbing. If one desires a thicker line, simply go over the first line. I use this brush with lancome cream liner in a pot (the actual name escapes me at the moment). The brush is easy to hold and I LOVE that I can see what I'm doing because of the nifty angle. My ONLY gripe is I use this daily and the bristles began to shed in about 5 months...... When I buy a brush I expect it to last forever. But, no big deal. You get what you pay for, right? As a side note, I received this a gift, but you can purchase one @ target for $3 USD.
