Moisturizers -Cerave - Moisturizing Lotion

It's a nice overall moisturizer, it seems to sink in quickly. And a little goes a long way. But I thought the 'acid' in it and how it's supposed to go deep down into your pores would help with preventing the oiliness on my skin from coming back after washing my face. But I still find myself breaking out, and worst of all the oiliness on my face hasn't been improved at all. This product was way too expensive for the amount that you get. I won't be buying this lotion again. I'd rather just use an overall lotion for my body and face, it's cheaper anyway and does the same job.

Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser

I've been using this for about half a month or so. I'm not seeing any improvement in my skin from those wonderful 'acids'. I was really hoping that this cleanser and the moisturizer by the same brand I use immediately afterward would help with my oily skin. It doesn't dry it out at least, as the Phisoderm cleanser I was using does. And I've found that it's not helping at all with my very mild case of acne. It was very expensive, considering the size of the bottle, and even after I had some coupons for them.

Eyes -BeneFit Cosmetics - Big Beautiful Eyes

I'm not a fan of the packaging because the highlighter shade should always be larger than the contouring and lid colour since you use more of it. I love the highlight shade, it's a very soft colour. Overall the palette creates a nice every-day look that's pretty and makes my brown eyes seem just a little bit mysterious. I never ever use the concealer, I find it useless. And even if I did use it, you couldn't because of the way it comes in the package. The eyeshadow fallout goes all over it. I don't see much pigment in the lid shade, I can barely tell I've applied anything when I go over top of the highlight colour (which I use from my brow bone all the way down to my lash line). But even still, I would definitely buy this product again. Though not at the outrageous $30-something that the site charges. I bought it on ebay for about $10 or so dollars, which is a lot better. Oh, and it lasts for a fairly long time. I didn't notice creasing until about 7 or so hours in. And that's without using primer.

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow--Elements

I'm actually reviewing the Rimmel Colour Rush Trio Eyeshadow in shade #750: "Tempting". I like the colours in the package, and I like the packaging it stays nicely shut and I like being able to see the colours through the lid. My problem is with the product itself. When you actually put the colours on, it's not pigmented in the least and you can't build up the colour. The colours you see does not translate onto skin. At least not onto my super pale skin. Even if you were okay with that slight tint of green on your eyes, it barely lasts four hours if that. I definitely will not be buying this line of eyeshadow again.

Conditioner -John Frieda - Brilliant Brunette Light Reflecting Conditioner

I don't know what BlueWings is talking about with not putting the conditioner above your ears, women have short hair too you know! But personally I don't find that it leaves my hair oily, but at the same time I really have to rinse it out. It definitely doesn't wash out easily. I have the same problem with this bottle as I do with the Liquid Shine Shampoo I bought on sale, the caps collect water when they're left in the shower and once you open the cap water pours out. A little annoyance, but I've never had a bottle do that before. I like the smell, but that's about it. I have naturally dark auburn hair and it doesn't enhance my natural shine at all. My hair is a bit softer since using this, but I'm thinking that's more from using a conditioner than this product in particular. I won't be buying this line of products again. I'm very glad I got them on sale so I could finally try them out and realize that it's all hype and does not work for my hair.

I got the shampoo on sale, which made it reasonably priced. But it's over priced for the size of container normally. I also find that the packaging isn't that great because when I leave it in the shower water collects in the cap and when I go to open it a bunch of water falls out. I have naturally thick, dark auburn hair that's decently shiny in its current short cut. This shampoo hasn't done anything to make it more shiny, I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. I guess it depends on your hair type, but I definitely won't be buying this line of products again.

Deodorants -Dove - Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth

I bought this because of the whole hair claim. Well, I'm a dark brunet who's hair grows fast. This doesn't work for that at all. The smell is nice, *at first*. But as it goes into the skin and combines with any smell that's naturally there, it smells almost sour. Not good at all. It helps with wetness, but not odour. And it leaves a very obvious residue on clothing. I've also noticed that it pills up on my underarm, which is gross as it'll flake off on my clothes sometimes too. I definitely won't be buying this again. I still have yet to find a women's deodorant that I like which doesn't have a strong smell, stops wetness and odour and doesn't leave marks on my clothes. I honestly don't think such a thing exists.

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Colour Rush Trio Eye Shadow - Maritime - 700

I actually used #750 - Tempting (which is a green trio). But I obviously experienced the same thing that many reviewers here did with #700. I found there to be no pigmentation. The colours in the trio look very pretty, but they're barely noticeable on my eyelids. I am very pale, colours should really pop on my skin. What little colour there is barely lasts until lunch time. I definitely won't be buying this again, and it makes me leery of trying their other eyeshadows.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Nailgrowth Miracle Nail Polish

I have shade 210 in Nurturing Natural (a pretty natural peachy pink). I ended up having to put 3 coats on, and I've never had to do that before with a nail polish. I didn't care for the brush, I felt like it was too wide and didn't give me a lot of control. At 8.99 for 0.45 oz, I think that's way too much money, especially for just a Sally Hansen product. I don't believe in the 'nailgrowth' claim, since nothing applied to your dead nail bed will make them grow any faster. They just help to protect the nail from daily trauma I think. I definitely won't be buying this again. It was too expensive for what it was. And I should be able to apply one coat and be good, and the second coat is just a little extra. 3 coats is rediuclous in order to get the desired covereage.

Cleansers -Clearasil - StayClear Skin Perfecting Wash

I like the packaging, love the locking pump, but it really should be see through at the side or something so you know how much product you have left. I think all bottles should come like that. I haven't tried it personally, but my husband has been using it for a while. He has normal skin, but he breaks out a lot. He's been using this for a while and has seen no improvement. If anything, he's having more break outs. He had really good results with Pro-Activ, so he might need something with a strong benzoyl peroxide in it, instead of salicylic acid. Personally, that stuff was too harsh for me and made my face red and irritated.

I don't like how it comes out like water. I've also never had such a reaction to a product before or after ProActiv which made my face very red and sensitive. This makes me burn. When the wind is blowing on my face, my skin actually burns. I like how it goes on smoothly and doesn't leave an oily residue, but that's all it has going for it. At $30 a bottle, which is absolutely ridiculous, I won't be buying this again, even if my skin could get use to the ingredients in it.

Scrubs -Biore - Pore Perfect Pore Unclogging Scrub

I've been using this for a few months now and it seems to be working well. I like to use it in the shower and leave it on for a minute or two while my dandruff shampoo is setting in as well. You can start to feel a slight tingle if you leave it on long enough, which is the Sacyrlic Acid working. It's definitely a good daily scrub. I have sensitive, combination skin with mild Rosacea. It's helped to cut down on the number of pimples I have, though I admit I don't normally break out too much. I like to use a toner afterward though because I feel like it doesn't all come off with just water (unless I'm in the shower, than it's easier to take it off completely). I still like to use a slightly more abrasive scrub/exfoliate at least once a week. The smell could be improved, but it's not unpleasant. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but the price isn't too bad considering how long it lasts. You actually don't need too much product as it applies fairly smoothly over the face with just a little amount. I gave it 3 lippies because I haven't noticed any improvement in my pores. I've never had a blackhead, but this doesn't help to minimize my pores or 'unclog' them. It just works as a decent scrub.

Treatments -Biore - Pore Cleansing Strips - Nose

A pretty expensive little product considering it doesn't pull out any of my blackheads. First time I used it, all the glue residue was left on my nose. Same for the second time. Third time I somehow managed to only have a little bit of residue left at the corners of my nose. But still, the strip pulled away completely clean. This product did not work on me and I will definitely not be buying again.

Gels/Soaps -Dove - Moisturizing Body Wash - Sensitive Skin

I picked up the more recent Dove moisturizing body wash for sensitive skin, unscented. It's the complete opposite of 'unscented', but unfortunately it doesn't have a nice smell like fruits or flowers. It's a chemical smell that is not at all pleasant. I haven't noticed my skin being any softer from all the special "Nutrium moisture" technology. I don't like the packaging. I like being able to see how much I have left of a product, and the flip cap seems a bit flimsy. I definitely won't be purchasing this product again. It's only benefit is that it washes away well.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Miracle Nail Thickener

I've never used nail thickener or hardener before. And from the results of this product, I won't be wasting my money on it again. The polish is thick and often bubbles. I dislike the opaque bottle. And the smell is atrocious. Almost as bad as nail polish remover. I applied for the recommended 4 days, removed on the 5th and then tried again for another 4 days. There is absolutely no difference in my nails. I got this product because my nails, once they get to a certain length, start getting frail and prone to fraying and splitting at the ends. This product did not help. It was just a glorified base or top coat.
