Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Heeley Iris de Nuit
rated 3 of 5

Heeley's Iris d' Nuit opens with lovely cool iris that was reminiscent to me of Hermes Hiris. Later the amber comes up on me and the fragrance was much like the current Tresor or other light amber. Iris d' Nuit was an "almost" for me, but too much light amber for my preference.

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Rubenesque
rated 2 of 5
GlamDiva 6/11/2013 10:34:00 PM

I really wanted to like Rubenesque. Such a pretty and rich rose-gold. Looks amazing in the pot and swatches beautifully. But on the lid, there were large particles of shimmer that didn't look smooth enough to me.

Fragrances -Antica Farmacista - Lemon, Verbena & Cedar
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 6/9/2013 8:50:00 PM

This review is for the Lemon, Verbena & Cedar body moisturizer. There are other personal and home fragrance products in this scent line. Light, luminous, and uplifting fragrance. Subtle and classy. If you liked original Chanel Cristalle, you will love Lemon, Verbena & Cedar. I get all of the notes individually and together. Texture of the lotion is rich and luxurious, bordering on slightly waxy when you begin to apply it, but not a problem - far better than the flood of silicon slick light body lotions on the market today that end up being very drying after a few minutes. Pump bottle, reasonably priced for this luxury.

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose
rated 2 of 5
GlamDiva 5/13/2013 10:50:00 PM

La Vie en Rose has a beautiful bottle and box. However I got very little rose. Lovely opening, but alas this fragrance has something like a "hay", "compost", or "animalic musk" note on me as it dries down that didn't work on my chemistry. (Flowerbomb body cream has the same thing.) Also, freesia is an iffy note for me as it tends to go chemical-dusty. Didn't work out.

I have the BB Antigua and the Maui for a pop of color on the cheeks over bronzer. Love them both!

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter - Brown Sugar
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 5/8/2013 11:31:00 PM

Brown Sugar is my personal favorite of the Revlon Lip Butters. On the lips, it looks like a rich peachy-nude with gold shimmer, very pretty and subtle, a MLLB color. It's the peachy-bronzey effect that I can't get enough of. Brown Sugar looks better on me than the popular Pink Truffle. Me: FFF, NC20-25, hazel eyes, "Autumn" type coloring.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Barely Branded Color Tattoo
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 5/7/2013 6:41:00 PM

Barely Branded is a pearly creamy eyeshadow base and general-purpose highlighting shade. Very versatile, with lots of potential! My only complaints about it are that it's kinda dry compared to some of my other new Color Tattoo eyeshadows and very dry compared to Benefit Creaseless Creams. I also see more particles in Barely Branded after application than I'd prefer. Overall for this particular color, I prefer the Benefit.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - inked in Pink Color Tattoo
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 5/7/2013 6:34:00 PM

Every color in the Color Tattoo line seems to have its own texture and smoothness. Some have visible particles when used on the lid that I don't care for (ditto for several MAC paint pots). Inked in Pink however is a delight! It goes on smoothly and beautifully with no visible particles. Gorgeous color, not too light or dark, not too cool or warm. Goes on lighter than it looks in the pot. Perfect as a base for doing a sexy pink-peachy-bronzey eye. I'm very pleased with this purchase and the price is right.

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Spicebomb
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 5/7/2013 6:24:00 PM

Spicebomb opens rather sharply, but settles down to a light spicy gourmand suitable for men or women. I get an impression of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, hint of anise, vanilla, hints of chocolate, pipe tobacco, unobtrusive woods. Airy, not overpowering. Comfortable and easy to wear -- possibly the easiest-to-wear fragrance in my entire large collection. Autumn in a bottle, but you can easily wear this all year around. Cinnamon candy - delicious! Definitely full bottle worthy for me. As of this writing, I've been wearing Spicebomb more than any of my other fragrances and am about to declare it a signature scent. It's making many of my old favorites seem dated now. As Fergie of Black Eyed Peas sings, "I'm on the next shift now."

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless cream shadow - bikini-tini
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 4/21/2013 12:34:00 AM

Bikini-Tini acts like a subtly glossy highlighter and/or a base. Makes other colors used with it look even better. Very versatile. The texture is silky, a pleasure to use. An instant favorite in my collection.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Bottega Veneta eau Legere
rated 5 of 5
GlamDiva 4/21/2013 12:28:00 AM

Bottega Veneta eau Legere gives an impression of a light diffuse chypre with citrus, oakmoss, leather. Beautiful for any occasion, all year around. However it could be a bit headache inducing for some people despite its lightness. Reminds me of a lighter vintage Aramis or Azuree. Very well done. Classy, intelligent.

Fragrances -Hermes - Jour d'Hermes
rated 2 of 5

Jour d'Hermes gave me an impression of various citrus, creamy, but a bit sour with an "off" note about half the time on me. YMMV

Bronzers -Laura Mercier - Baked Blush Bronze - Ritual
rated 3 of 5
GlamDiva 4/21/2013 12:14:00 AM

LM Baked Blush Bronze in the color Ritual is from the Summer 2013 collection. A hybrid blusher-bronzer due to the pink veins in the marblized baked product creating a blush effect, very natural looking if applied with a light hand. A bit dry, gave my dry-mature skin a crepey appearance. Compared to LGeller's Sunswept, the LGeller is FAR less dry and crepey. LGeller and Milani excel in the marblized baked products genre, I've had no problems with them at all.
