Wow I love this! I was not a fan of the original The One, it was too powdery and linear on my skin. I thought that The One (original) could possibly smell good with some tweaks. This fragrance hits the nail on the head with the sweet fruitiness it adds. A touch of caramel (Prada Candy without the benzoin), a little bit of litchi (like Escada's Sunset Heat) and a touch of tuberose (like Juicy Couture original). This combination is significantly softer than all of the above referenced perfumes and very well blended. It has a very soft and sweet drydown and is very feminine. Expensive yes, but I would buy again, I like it that much!
These lipsticks sold out so fast online, I was lucky to get mine from a MAC counter. This lipstick looked awesome on me (neutral blonde hazel green eyes fair-medium tone), and I also think most other skin tones can pull this off beautifully. This lippie really enhances the green in hazel eyes. This is a red toned purple, it has great lasting power, I highly recommend getting one if possible for a normal price. MAC Heroine (Reel Sexy collection) is close but not quite a dupe for this.
Fragrances -Juicy Couture - Viva La Fleur Eau de Toilette Spray
GirlieGirl5 12/22/2012 8:09:00 PM
As others have mentioned, no lasting power. Smells wonderful, lasts 10 minutes on my skin. I prefer the original which is very similar but has much better lasting power and sillage.
Hmm I will dissent from the majority here, I love this fragrance! I can see the Lolita comparisons, but I cannot wear LL and my hubby hates it, too powdery for him. Both he and I love this fragrance. I love the cherry/almond smell, it kind of reminds me of amaretto or something and I want to chew my wrist off (just kidding)! It dries down to a very sexy sultry smell. The lasting power is fabulous on my skin. Wonderful for fall and winter! I can see wearing this with a black dress, or a sweater and boots, also smells wonderful on a leather jacket. Would buy again!
Crème -Unlisted Brand - Wei Ideal Skin Perfect Finish

I too received this as a sample in my Birchbox and bought the full size. I use it in favor of all of my other foundations, including NARS sheer glow, KA SSE, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Laura Mercier tinted moisuturizer, MUFE HD, and others. I prefer it to anything else. Just the right amount of coverage, not cakey, does not settle into skin leaving lines or huge pores. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a sunscreen. A wonderful product!
Meh...I swapped mine away. I don't have anything against the product's formula. It glided on fine, it seemed to last a good while. However, while I purchased it in hopes it would brighten my eyes and make me look more awake, it just made my eyes look funny and somehow more tired, haha. Plus, it is expensive for what you get. An okay product, seems to work for a lot of people, but I was underwhelmed.
Palettes -Shu Uemura - chocolat-donna orange and pistachio palette
GirlieGirl5 10/28/2012 3:12:00 AM
I love this palette! Granted, it is very expensive, and the shadow sizes are small. However, the quality is outstanding. I believe this is a limited edition palette and it consists of 6 shades: a glitter orange, a glitter pistachio colored green, beige with shimmer, a taupe with shimmer, matte chocolate brown, and matte dark brown. The least pigmented shade would probably be the orange color, I recommend a base but once I combined the orange and green for an interesting fire opal look on the eyes. There is some fallout with the glitter; however, it was easy to sweep away unlike some other glittery shadows (I'm looking at you Urban Decay!). The brown colors are FAB! They are smooth, smooth smooth. These colors did not crease, they lasted all day. The case is gorgeous and easy to carry. If you want to splurge I highly recommend this palette!
Shampoo -Wen by Chaz Dean - Fall Ginger Pumpkin (seasonal scent)
GirlieGirl5 10/20/2012 5:13:00 PM
My very favorite Wen product! I have very fine long blonde hair, damaged by blow drying and some lightening. This product makes my hair smooth, shiny, and lightweight. I have tried other Wen products, most recently Six Thirteen which I did like, but none compare to Ginger Pumpkin. The only thing I don't like, is that when the product gets low, the pump does not work. I wish they would produce this one year round! Edit-I had to drop my rating to 3. My hair became immune to this stuff or something...was working fabulously for awhile but after a bit I became oily at the roots and dry on the ends. Sigh! The search continues...
I think this product is great, don't get me wrong. It is a gorgeous color and it has earned the 5 lippies that I have given it. However, I do not think it is worth eBay price. As the previous review pointed out, there is a Barry M lipstick that is almost a dead-on dupe for this one. CYY (Quite Cute) was drying on my lips, the new CYY (By Request) is less so. This is a vibrant blue based pink, as neon as it gets. The main reason I love CYY is that it makes my eyes look very, very green. I do recommend it, if you can get it for a REASONABLE price, but I would not overpay for it, just my opinion.
I am beyond thrilled that I can pull this off! I have blonde hair, hazel green eyes, and a neutral fair to medium skin tone. Generally, I have a problem pulling off colors that are too cool (like MAC pink nouveau) or too warm (I did not like MAC fresh Moroccan on me) and this lipstick is very warm. But I saw it on others online and I figured I'd take a chance anyhow. So glad I did, because miraculously it looks great! One swipe is very sheer, two swipes is a bit more opaque. If I had to describe this color, I would say it is like a kind of a rusty orange, with gold flecks. Makes the green in my hazel eyes stand out a LOT.
I like this palette. It is not my absolute favorite, but I agree with the reviewer below that said this is perfect for an office look. It is a very easy palette to reach for. The glittery shade is not like night clubbing mega glitter, it is actually a very fine shimmer barely noticeable unless one is looking closely. I found the palette has minimal fallout. I have a neutral skin tone and this palette leans cool on me, so wearing these really requires a blush and lip that lean cool as well. They are not extremely cool shades, but I would think a very warm toned person may not like this palette. I would purchase again, the shadows are good quality. They do crease a bit with a long day's wear, but a shadow base does help to mitigate this a bit.
I will buy this product as long as it is produced. I own MANY eyeshadows and palettes from the following brands: UD, MAC, Too Faced, Shu, RBR, Wet and Wild, Revlon, etc. etc. and this one is my absolute favorite #1 go to eyeshadow. If I had to go down to 1 eyeshadow forever, Toasted would be it! Can be worn alone, looks fabulous with Hustle which is also in the Naked 1 palette, and very versatile. I have blonde hair, greenish hazel eyes, and a neutral fair medium skintone. Love it, would never be without it EVER.
I do not love all gourmands, but I love this one. I received a sample in a swap and just had to get a full bottle. It is very expensive, but I love it. It kind of reminds me of Pink Sugar mixed with Escada Magnetism, with a touch of spice thrown in. I love the adorable bottle. It is now sold at Sephora, yay!! I wanted to add, I know a lot of people have complained about lasting power, but this perfume is 9+ hours and going strong on me! My skin sucks the life out of many perfumes, so maybe it depends on chemistry.
I am in love with this lipstick. It is similar to Moxie but slightly redder. The best thing about it is that it wore all day long on me, through eating, drinking, etc. It is a beautiful red with hints of pink. Very bold though, not for the faint of heart. It will get you noticed. Just lovely! If you missed out on this Guerlain girly is a close dupe, though quite pricy.
Lipstick -MAC - Mehr (Mickey Contractor Collection)
GirlieGirl5 10/2/2012 11:59:00 PM
I think this is close to a universally flattering shade, if that is actually possible. I loved it when it was promoted with the Mickey Contractor collection and was sad I did not have backups. Luckily, MAC seems to have added this to their permanent line. If you liked Gem of Roses with the Semi-Precious collection, this one is similar but a bit darker and matte. I love how MAC has reformulated their mattes as well. This one is not at all drying to me, like say for instance Ruby Woo. This actually made my lips look smoother and more moisturized. Lasted all day as well. Highly recommend!
