Misc Beauty Tools -Tweezerman - tweezers
rated 5 of 5

I was always curious about Tweezerman tweezers but was put off by the price tag so I waited. Eventually I had a special drugstore coupon and I said, "what the heck? Let me get them." Best investment I ever made in a pair of tweezers. I can't see myself using any other brand of tweezers. I've tried a few and they just dont compare to tweezerman. These babies are extra sharp and are very precise in removing stray hairs and even those pesky ingrowns. I find that they are worth the money and then some espcially with their lifetime free sharpening. I mean what other company that produces tweezers offer this kind of service? So far only one and that's Tweezerman. To all those beauties out there invest in one of these tweezers they are worth the money trust me you won't regret it, Would I repurchase? You bet and I have. I ended up buying a traveling purple one with a plastic case so it won't get lost and a pink one with ribbons because it was on clearance for 50% off and they donate the money to the breast cancer foundation (pretty awesome). Btw I have the LTD pink ones and that just made me convert to this company. They stand behind their brand and then some.

Blush -Flirt - Peek-a-Blush Sheer Powder Cheek Color in Heartthrob
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 12/3/2009 12:25:00 PM

I read the reviews here about how this blush is an exact dupe for NARS Orgasm. And although I dont own Orgasm I can say that this blush is really nice for the price. Its a nice pinky peach with gold shimmer but more pink than anything else. I love it not only for the color but also because of the pigmentation. It gives my cheeks a nice pinky glow. I would defitnetly recommend checking this out and trying out because this blush is beautiful and can be used all year round. The two things that kinda bother me is one the packaging the sliding and opening can be a bit annoying but I can overlook that because its whats inside that counts and also that you can only find it at Kohls. Anyway, if you happen to stop by a Kohls make sure you stop by the Flirt Cosmectics section you wont regret it. I certaintly didnt =)

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush

This brush is awesome. I love how i can apply a semi-thin line without a problem. Today I used it for my Royal Wink f/l and it applied it beautifully. This is one brush that I would rebuy again since the its decently priced and probably much better than HE brushes. This brand of brushes are really good because they dont shed at all like most brushes out there and the quality is superb. This is one brand that definetly recommend for people starting out experimenting with makeup or e/l. A+++

Blush -MAC - Superdupernatural - Holiday 2009
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 11/15/2009 10:01:00 PM

Superdupernatural is a nice corally color that gives you a natural glow from within. I love it and I'm the type of girl who loves pinks and plum colored blushes. But this blush was an exception when I read the reviews here about how great it was. You know what? It is. What I love about this blush is that it's buildable and doesn't look too much on the first sweep just gives you a nice glow with a hint of shimmer to make your face look more alive. If they were to make this permanent it would be a great addition to the mineralize family. Too bad that this is LE like all the good products that MAC comes out.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 7/29/2009 1:25:00 AM

I've been wanting this MSF for a long time now and I finally got my hands on this when the colour craft collection came out. At first I thought, "how can I get this lovely color to show up on me?" So the first time I wore it I put it on as a blush and then I added Sweetness Beauty Powder on top and it looked amazing. I will defitnetly buy another one because its LE and I want to have a back up. A must try!

Bronzers -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - So Ceylon [DISCONTINUED]

My HG bronzer. It's the best out there and I have so many backups it's not even funny. I love it that much. It gives me that nice healthy glow to my face. People describe this as a rosey bronze and I totally agree. Everytime I put this on I love it more and more. Perfect for summer and all year round. Definitely worth it. Whoever, hasn't tried this go pick this up.

Lipstick -MAC - Violetta Amplified (Pro)

READ ON FOR PIC Hands down a really GREAT color. I love it and best of all my hubby loves it too. It gives great color payoff. At first I thought that I wouldn't be able to pull it off because it's so bright and intimidating in the tube but once I applied it on my lips it was nothing but love. This is such a lovely summer color. I will defitnetly repurchase again and I couldn't recommend this color more especially if you haven't given this a try yet. Photobucket

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear
rated 4 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 6/18/2009 11:00:00 AM

CLICK CONTINUE FOR PIC After reading some of the reviews here and the praises it got in the makeup board I decided to purchase this yesterday. I'm impressed. This foundation is VERY buildable. I like that. You can put it on spots that need the coverage. I apply this with the MAC 187 brush by stippling the foundation unto my face one section at a time then I buff it out with the MUFE Kabuki brush and the result is almost flawless airbrush skin. I deducted a lippie for the price but other than that everything else is fine. The packaging could be better but I took care of that by using the MAC pump and it fits perfectly. I have acne prone skin and I basically break out with anything so I want to be able to find a foundation that is non- acnegenic. Shockingly enough this one states in the package that it's not so that's a plus. Let's just hope that my skin doesn't act up. So far I'm liking it because it gives enough coverage Another thing, I took some pictures to see how well it would photograph and it seems fine. All I have to do is apply a bit of bronzer and apply the right camera setting and it works out really nice. I'll rebuy this foundation but since I know that it'll last me a long time I wont have to but I defitnetly recommend it. For reference I'm NC 40-42 and I got this foundation is 4W1 Shell beige. HTH EDIT 1: Very important for those having trouble taking this off. Try using MAC's Cleanse Off Oil and leave it on for a minute then rinse off. Use your regular cleanser afterwards then witch hazel and it's all gone. I promise you that it won't leave any traces behind. Good luck EDIT 2: I figured out a way that this won't look pale in pics by adding a bit of MAC Studio Sculpt foundation after I applied a layer of DW and it gives a nice luminous glow. Photobucket

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 6/5/2009 8:05:00 AM

Wow why didn't I tried this before? It's such a wonderful mascara. It gives me really nice length and plumps the lashes up. I love the gigantic brush it gets every single lash without clumping up at all. Even if it did clump up there's nothing a lash comb can't fix. I will defitnetly buy again.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen mascara
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 6/5/2009 8:01:00 AM

This mascara gives nice length and volume. It holds up a curl nicely. I love the tube it's so stylish and looks expensive but at a drugstore price, which is not so expensive. I don't know why people are complaining about the price when they spend ALOT more on more expensive brands that don't do what it says. However this one delivers.

Lipstick -Revlon - Revlon Matte-Pink Pout
rated 4 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 3/3/2009 12:27:00 AM

EDIT: I bought it again during BOGOF, tried it with a plum lipliner and applied the lippie lightly and it looks so much better. Next time I add the gloss. I upped it to four because it's long lasting and because now I know how to make it work. Original Review I bought this lippie when it first came out and I was a bit excited because I thought that it would've looked nice one me. I thought that since it was a matte formula that it was going to be awesome just like my MAC lippies. Boy was I wrong this is such a crappy lippie at least on me. It flaked and showed every line on my lips. I tried so hard to make this one work I put lip gloss and although it didn't look bad with the lipgloss it still flaked. Ugh I got so fed up that instead of throwing it out I gave it to my mother-in-law. Hopefully she'll get much better results. No repurchase unless somebody has any ideas on how to make this work better.

Moisturizers -Ponds - Dry Skin Cream
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 3/2/2009 5:13:00 PM

I always wanted to try this product but everytime I would go to the drugstore I'd pass it by. Well I had a case of dry skin and I needed something that would moisturize and hydrate my skin so I finally bought it. I ended up getting the big jar for 10 bucks and there's a lot of product I know that it'll last me a long time. The first night I put it on liberally on my face and I noticed right away how refreshed and moisturized my face felt. Same thing in the morning but the only difference was that I would put only a bit because it tends to feel greasy if you over-do-it. It made my foundation go on smoother and blend much better. I love it. I use it every night after my Alpha Hydrox treatment but I use a little bit since my face is not so dry like before. ( Did I mentioned that this helped with my face being a bit flaky? Well it did) Anyway I usually like moisturizers that come with a built in pump but this is a jar, which I would've taken off a lippie but I took care of that. I grabbed a plastic knife and broke it in half taking the handle and placing it in the middle of the jar and it works. I only take a bit and if I need more I just add a bit more and my face feels nice and smooth. I even had my husband try it and he likes it too. I defitnetly recommend this for very dry skin or skin that gets flaky it really helps with that. Not sure if I'll buy this again since a little goes a long way but I put yes once I run out of this.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 2/28/2009 1:10:00 AM

READ ON FOR PIC Finally I get to write a review on this foundation. Ok so I bought this product a while back and only wore it twice and at first I wasn't sure about it. At one point I thought about returning it because I thought that the price was a bit steep. However, I put it on a few times after that and my opinion has changed. This foundation is pretty good. The gel like texture is thick and you only need a little bit to cover your entire face. I also apply what's left on my finger unto areas that need a bit more coverage. I use my MAC 187 brush and stipple it onto my face working one section at a time and then blend. This blends like a dream and the end results for me is naturally beautiful skin almost flawless. I love it! I have both NC40-NC42 and I like NC-42 better. Whenever i wear NC40 I put a bit of bronzer and then blush that way it won't look light on my skin and it works out nicely. This is a really nice foundation it could end up being my second HG MAC l/f because this is suppose to be water resistant and it evens out my skintone perfectly. I moisturize first that way the foundation goes on very smoothly and evenly. This also lasts ALL day and I only need to reapply powder to matte it out again when it looks dewy and I love it. I would defitnetly recommend this to those are looking for a versatile foundation. Work around with and see what works for you. Hope that this review helps out someone. Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto
rated 1 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 2/23/2009 12:49:00 AM

This mascara was a HUGE disappointment for me it didn't dod anything at all. This is probably best for people with short eyelashes that want decent length. I gave mine to my sister-in-law and she was happy so to each it's own. I like Max Factor Lash perfection better and with that one you get more than what you pay for. I will not repurchase this mascara it was waste of money and was a disappointment. *shakes head in disgusts*

Lip Gloss -NARS - Lip Lacquer in Chelsea Girls
rated 5 of 5
Ginnybaby2007 2/2/2009 11:43:00 PM

I really like this shade of nude gloss and I also noticed how versatile it can be if you don't want to use it alone. There are days where I don't feel like wearing it alone because it can make me look washed out so I put some lipstick of another color (e.g L'oreal Colour Riche l/s in Mulberry) and in an instant I have a diffrent lip gloss and the staying power is even better. Also it doesn't feel as sticky when I do it like this. You can also use different shades of l/s and make it to your liking you can use different hues of nude and also pinks. I wasn't reaching for this for a while but I decided to play around with different l/s to see which one would make a nicer combination with this gloss and the L'oreal is the one that works best for me. Also I apply this with a retraceable lip brush because I don't like sticky fingers. Click continue for pic. EDIT: I tried it out with MAC's Show Orchid (it's a super bright pink l/s from the Pro store) and it looks awesome. It tones it down a bit but otherwise the l/s still looks bright! I love this and I already have a brand new one waiting to be used. Photobucket
