Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sexy Little Things Noir Tease

I was pleasantly surprised when I sampled this scent. It is flirty, sexy, and fun! I normally wear Chanel Chance, but have found it to be more suitable for the fall and winter months. This fragrance is fruity, but not to sweet and the vanilla adds a bit of warmth. I will be making this my Spring/Summer signature scent. The packaging is sexy and something that I could imagine taking a space on the dresser of Dita Von Tease. So cute! It makes me feel sexy just putting it on! F.Y.I. The sales person said that quite a few people have commented that this scent resembles Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Never Fail Lipstick

I was fairly disappointed in this product primarily because of how incredibly drying it was. When you initially put the color coat on, it is quite sticky and very dry, but the sticky is resolved with the clear conditioning product. However, even though the lip color stays, the conditioning layer does not. After 30 minutes, my lips were dry, flaking, and felt terrible. The strange thing is that the conditioning layer made my lips have a very wrinkly appearance which I've never really experienced before. I purchased the #55 Primrose which is a very lovely color. The scent of the product is also very nice and the packaging is innovative despite it being completely plastic. The mirror was a nice touch.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Volume Seduction Lipstick

This is a wonderful product. Initially, I was concerned about the warning located on the side of the product and don't ever remember a lip plumping product with such a label. This is quite a bit more tingly than other lip plumping products that I've used (and believe me, I've tried quite a few). It did actually make my entire forearm that I used for the swatch (see above) extremely red and tingly as well, but went away after 20 minutes. The colors are gorgeous and it definitely delivers in the lip plumping department. The staying power is minimal as is the coverage, but the shimmer is nice. I purchased the (From Left to Right on the swatch above); 140- Petal Attraction : would designate this as a nude color 320- Passionate Plum : My favorite color. Absolutely gorgeous. It looks scary dark in the tube, but offers a beautiful shimmery plum color. 520- Crimson Crush : Okay, but almost like a lighter plum color, not so much crimson/red. 640- Tantalizing Toffee : Beautiful color that resembles a dusty rose type shade. I purchased these on clearance at Walgreens for $2.19 so I really got a steal on a really great product.. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a more inexpensive, but nice lip plumping product. Like the warning says though, be careful. It seems like more people are sensitive to this product that others.

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - WetSlicks Amazemint

When I initially saw this product, I wasn't in the least bit impressed. The collaboration between a cosmetic and a toothpaste company seemed a bit comical. However, I really like the fresh tingly feeling that it gives to the lips, granted it only lasts for 20 minutes. The product marketing boasts that this lipgloss provides a "smile treatment" in addition to a "high-shine". I'm not entirely sure that it delivers significantly in the fresh breath arena, but it definitely makes you feel that it does. It does give a nice shimmer, but I wouldn't have categorized it as a "high-shine". It isn't sticky at all which is certainly a bonus, but doesn't have any lasting power really. I have very naturally pigmented lips resulting in the sheerest of color with this product. I purchased the 600 - Pink Positive, 615 Plum Crazy, 630- Red Riot, and 660 - Happy Hour (See above swatches). Pink Positive and Happy Hour both show clear on my lips. The Plum Crazy offers the most color pay-off and the Red Riot surprisingly gave minimal color. Additionally, I seriously doubt that any of these colors make the consumer's teeth look whiter. Overall, for the price I think that this is a fabulous little staple product to keep in your purse for day-time use because it does give fresh feeling and a nice shimmer.

Foundations -Revlon - Custom Creations Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

The idea of a customizeable foundation is intriguing. I originally purchased this product because I like to use slightly different colors of foundation for contouring on my face. I purchased the 010 fair/light product. I am between the 1 and 2 color so I found it fun to be able to customize the color to my specifications. Initially, when only put on my hand, I didn't see a noticeable difference between the colors. However, when doing my swatches, there was indeed a difference. Unfortunately, you have to waste a pump in order to switch to the next color to clear the dispenser (which was done for the swatch photo - see above) The formula is thinner than I would like and not at all good for contouring due to this fact. In order to achieve full coverage, you must apply it with a quality foundation brush. When applied with only my fingers, I found it to be uneven and give minimal coverage. Also, this isn't a product that can be applied without the use of a primer and finishing powder. Otherwise, it looks dull and doesn't last. The packaging is more functional rather than luxurious and screams "drug-store" unlike some of Revlon's other products. I wouldn't hesitate to use this for my day makeup since I've already purchased it, but would select something else for special occasions.
