Love this stuff. Now that I'm a woman of "a certain age" (and it's not as wonderful as Suzanne Somers says, sorry) I'm looking for anything with moisture. Kind of like some scaly hibernating animal crawling out of its hole...oh never mind. I was attracted to this for one reason: I'm lazy and really tired at the end of the day. I'd previously had an elaborate routine, but wow. Put on dry hands? Washes off everything and your face feels soft? It's true. Where was this stuff when I was a party girl and slept in my makeup? It just amazes me when something is true, which is a little sad... But for the laziness factor alone I'll keep buying this. It's a little expensive, but then so is my makeup. It only makes sense that I'd have to pay a little more to have the pricey stuff swirl down the drain at night, heh heh. Bottom line: Wonderful invention, nice smell, works great, kind of cup your hand around the pump thing or you'll squirt it all over your robe.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara
rated 5 of 5

Been a long time since I've used CG products, but eyelash clumping has been an issue for me lately. I have approximately two eyelashes per eye, so every morning it's like trying to build a picket fence with two popsicle sticks. Anyway, this does what it says even though I'm a mascara abuser and tend to over-apply. I had one "I am so stupid" moment when I took the wand out and it was curved. I'm used to straight brushes. OMG was I going to have to read the instructions on mascara??? Even if I put it on backwards (and I may have) it still looks good. Living my life clump-free!

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Magic Lumi - Light Infusing Primer
rated 4 of 5

This is my first day wearing this under make-up and I'm pretty impressed. I've been feeling like my face looks dull now that winter's here but I'm afraid of "clown sparkle" primers, especially now that I'm over 55. I had a weird thing happen when I got it home and tried to open it; the entire top came off and white stuff flew everywhere. Maybe I was too eager to get to the Fountain of Youth and I yanked too hard? Anyway, I re-assembled and am very pleased with the dewy effects. No Ringling Brothers face, and I'm going to experiment with it as a highlighter. I was one phone call away from getting Botox, but this stuff may make me feel better for a while anyway. A tad expensive at $12 in the grocery store; paid $10 with a $2 coupon so will use sparingly.

Eyeliner -Milani - Infinite Liquid Eye Liner
rated 3 of 5
Gayle1600 11/10/2012 6:23:00 PM

I really liked the Milani eye liner pencil but am more used to a liquid product with a brush. I got this with great hopes, attracted to the "Infinite" part. Eyeliner disappears on me during the day---where does it go? So I need something that lasts. The first thing I noticed was that the product was rather thick and gloppy. To add to this problem, the brush is too big and not tapered. But I was willing to work with it. It DOES stay on, oh boy does it stay on. But I couldn't get a fine line. So I tried a smaller brush from another liquid eyeliner but the problem persisted. The product is just too thick. Bottom line (no pun!): Milani folks, please thin out this eyeliner, pair it with a delicate, tapered brush, and I'll be willing to try again.
