Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Now-100% Vegetable Glycerine

I am 58. I have had chronic dry skin my entire life. I have used pure glycerine on my face for many years. I am never without it! On rare occasions when I do run out, I can tell an immediate difference in my skin. I have substituted other pure oils before, but the lasting power is over within the hour leaving my skin feeling taught, and wrinkles more noticeable due to dryness. This stuff is also great to mix with mineral makeup if you need a creamy consistancy that last. I have been to make up salons selling mineral makeup. They always try to pack their moisturizers and primers on my face swearing that their brand, if applied properly, will make my skin look smoothe and supple. It has become a joke to me. I don't even try to explain to them anymore. I just let them cake their products on. I then go straight home, wash my face---mix my mineral powder and glycerine in the palm of my hand-- apply--and VOILA! THE PERFECT MINERAL FOUNDATION! No lotions, no primers, and no horrible dry looking makeup. It just looks natural and perfect . As for packaging quality......who cares......I would squeeze this stuff from a cow utter if it came in that! Forgive my crudeness, but this stuff is the bomb!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I give this product a 5 for volume and length but a 0 for holding curl.Does anyone have any tips to help hold curl with this mascara?

THIS HAIRCOLOR IS GREAT EXCEPT IT WASHES OUT TO FAST. I AM USING A 20 DEVELOPER. IT ONLY LAST ABOUT 4 SHAMPOOS. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Best eyelash curler on the market--and inexpensive-heat with hairdryer then curl--fantastic! Experiment with heat application and length of time you squeeze the curler. Once you get the hang of it, you'll love the results!

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stylist Mascara ] [DISCONTINUED]

I need a little more practice using the comb. Overall I was surprised . The waterproof formula quickly added a lot of volume and holds a curl. If volume and curl is what you need, this is your mascara. Place comb at the base of lashes press in and up. You will be suprised at how quickly volume builds. I curl my lashes before I apply, and this mascara will not straighten them. Since waterproof voluminous by loreal changed their formula a few years ago and ruined their perfect mascara, I have searched diligently for a comparable replacement. This is the closest I have come to finding it. Loreal, your previous perfect mascara irons my eyelashes flat. I recommend removing maybelline lash stylist waterproof by applying lumene eye makeup remover to eyelashes and gently message.. Do this a couple of times and wipe with a warm wet wash cloth. I finish off with a little baby soap ( no stinging and gentle) wash gently with fingertips and its gone. And last, girls----- who cares a rip about any packaging as long as its affordable and does the job. Who would really waste money on a pretty package and a sorry product!

I WOULD GIVE IT AN A FOR GREAT VOLUME BUILDING-AN A FOR WATERPROOF-AN F BECAUSE IT STRAIGHTENS MY LASHES. FIVE OR SO YEARS AGO THE OLD FORMULA WAS SUPERB IN ALL AREAS. ANY TIPS ON WHAT I MIGHT USE TO HELP IT HOLD CURL? I JUST PURCHASED SHISEIDO MASCARA BASE. I WILL TRY APPLYING THIS AND THEN LOREAL. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK, I WILL NOT BUY LOREAL VOLUME BUILDING MASCARA AGAIN--AS CURL IS MANDATORY FOR MY EYES.
