Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Clear
rated 5 of 5

Okay, this stuff is AMAZING for sleepaway camp. I go away for 8 weeks to a sleepaway camp pretty far away from home. I always feel a little bit better with at least a little bit of makeup on, and I don't like to feel totally bare-faced. For sleepaway camp, this just helps me feel a bit prettier and more put together, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing mascara-my lashes just look more defined, long, the perfect amount darker, and curled, naturally, and my eyes just look absolutely beautiful! It's perfect, because I don't WANT to look like I'm wearing makeup (after all, it's sleepaway camp), but I do want the effects of it, and this gives it to me. What's even better is that I don't have to worry about getting black smudges under my eyes after jumping in the lake or the pool, and I don't have to worry about removing it before my shower (which is legit, limited to, like, 5-10 minutes!), because it doesn't leave those black smudges if I don't remove it before a shower! And since it's basically a gel, it comes off very easily (but, it doesn't melt off in the heat!). Seriously, the only makeup items I brought to sleepaway camp last year was about 5 tubes of this stuff, and Covergirl's Aqua Smoothers Concealer Stick, just in case! Lifesaver, HG worthy, will DEFINITELY repurchase!!!!!

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Bare Study
rated 5 of 5
Funtabulosity329 6/5/2010 7:25:00 PM

I HONESTLY CANNOT EVEN FATHOM HOW MUCH I LOVE BARE STUDY PAINT POT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I WILL NEVER WEAR ANOTHER LID COLOR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, I have found my perfect lid color. Lemme share my story: For the longest time, I was looking for the perfect lid color- light so it could enhance my eyes and open them up and make me appear bright-eyed and wide-awake, but not too dark that it created a shadow that made me appear the exact opposite of what I wanted. For reference, All That Glitters was too dark. Yeah. I'm serious. Also, I need my lid color to not be warm-toned, like have any pink, red, orange, peach, or coral tones or undertones. Those tones/undertones make me look like I a) have been crying all day and/or b) am having an allergic reaction. Not pretty. But, my lid color can't be too cool toned either, like have any taupe or gray undertones. THOSE colors just show up gray on my eyes, making me look sallow and not bright-eyed and wide awake like I want. Legit yellow colors just look downright strange. So, I need neutrals with gold shimmer, metallic-ness, undertones, tones, and/or iridescence. So here comes along the marvelous miracle that is Bare Study Paint Pot. And Bare Study delivers! It's EXACTLY what I want (I'm not listing ALL that I want again- I listed it all above LOL)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you're like me and your wants are just like mine, spend your money on Bare Study and I PROMISE you won't regret it!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous. And if you're on the fence about Bare Study, with the mindset "Oh, it's a cream shadow, it'll crease on me," IT WON'T!!!!!! And trust me on this, I would know! I seriously have the oiliest lids EVER- even POWDER eyeshadows crease on me unless I have a good primer on like L'Oreal Decrease. So I thought this would crease on me without a primer. But no! No creases ALL day-even in 90 DEGREE weather- without a primer! Gosh! Bare Study just couldn't get any better! And you might also be on the fence because "I could so easily find a drugstore dupe," but honestly, you can't!!! I COMBED the drugstore beauty aisle, and nothing!!!!!! I bought Covergirl Eye Enhancers in Champagne thinking it would be a dupe for Bare Study, but it is in NO WAY a dupe-Covergirl is white with shimmer, totally despite what it looks like in the pan. *rolls eyes in sheer disgust* Bare Study is an absolutely GORGEOUS light champagne color with gold shimmer and undertones. Sounds dupable, but it's totally unique in its own Bare Study way :) Since my color description doesn't do it justice (heck, what am I talking about- NO color description does it justice!), I would definitely suggest checking out Bare Study at MAC. And then buying it :) Looks great on its own, or with Tempting in the crease to define the crease. Might possibly be the best makeup purchase I've ever made. I will repurchase this until I die, and I have seriously taken an oath to never wear another neutral lid color again. If they ever discontinue Bare Study I will personally strangle MAC and then shoot them all with an AK-47 :) :) :)

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Mariah Carey - 'M'

While I loved the bottle, THE PERFUME INSIDE IT WAS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smelled WAY too powdery. Ick-I'm getting memories. *shudder* I HATE powdery scents-they're just, blech. And I didn't even detect a single other note that I liked. Just this sickening powder smell. Wanted to puke when I wore it!!!!!!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
rated 1 of 5
Funtabulosity329 5/10/2010 12:01:00 AM

Blech!!! I really didn't like this. It did give me volume, but it gave me that kind of feathery volume, where, unless you're right up close to my face, you can't see my lashes. I literally had to pile on 10 coats before each lash was visible, but by then, my lashes had clumped together horribly (five lashes-ugh!!!) While it gave me the appearance of tons of lashes, it went to waste because you couldn't even see the lashes. It flaked SO horribly- within an hour or two I had tiny flecks of black mascara all over my cheeks, my undereyes, my nose, around my mouth, everywhere. And sometimes it would get IN my eyes- can you say "OW!!!!!!!!" And this stuff had a TERRIBLE scent- some kinda weird rose scent that smells more like old rose-scented potpourri than the roses in my garden. I thought they used that to try and make the product more appealing and girlier, but IMO it just cheapened the product and made it seem fake and over-hyped. It almost made the mascara seem, conceited, if you will-it had a big head and was totally full of itself-get real, Colossal!!!!! It was a pain to apply without wanting to plug my nose, and it took SO long to apply to make my lashes visible, which I never even achieved without the horrid clumping. Hate it. Wouldn't repurchase. Save your money.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
rated 1 of 5
Funtabulosity329 5/8/2010 2:23:00 PM

Meh. Left quite a bit to be desired. Had virtually no coverage. I'm only 13, so i don't need a full coverage, but i do have some dark spots on my forehead from previous bouts with acne that I'd like to cover. This didn't deliver. Even when I first put it on, the coverage was more of a translucent loose powder than a pressed powder with actual color! And it didn't last throughout the day. I put it on and it feels really nice and smooth on my oilfield forehead, but after less than an hour- forget about it. My forehead is back to feeling horribly congested with oil, as it always feels, making me wanna desperately wipe my forehead clean with an oil-blotting sheet. The thing I love about this powder though is the formula. It's very smooth, almost creamy. Very finely milled. Applies well, doesn't get cakey on my dry or on my oily parts. But it just doesn't last. I mean, I don't expect it to last on my mega-dry cheeks, cause nothing powder ever lasts there, even blush. But, I kinda expected it to just stay on those oily areas all day, masking the oil production and keeping it at bay (as in non-existent). But it didn't. So disappointed. I never had a problem with actual shine on my face, just oiliness. So, I don't know how great it is at controlling shine, but since it didn't last more than half an hour, and it left me feeling oily and being oily after awhile, I'm gonna just take a gander here and say that it would fail epically at controlling shine, if I had any. And the great light-coverage-without-heavy-liquids search continues. *sigh* would not repurchase. I'll use it up, but just cause I don't want my money to go to waste. Even though it already has.....

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion
rated 5 of 5
Funtabulosity329 4/25/2010 4:59:00 PM

I LUV LASBLAST FUSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i loved the original lashblast, and thought nothing could be better. sure, it didnt give that gorgeous flirty-lash length i love, but hey, it didnt promise it. so when lashblast fusion came along, i was like, "yes! that same great volume with the added flirty length! victory is my lashes'!!!" and it really does deliver! LBF gives that same awesome volume as lashblast- like i have a million lashes! it still separates like a dream, no clumps whatsoever, which is what makes it so awesome at giving volume. and then there's the added length bonus- theres hundreds of tiny fibers in the mascara that grab onto your lashes, kinda like eyelash extensions! i also think the fibers added more width to my lashes, giving me even more volume than the original. but back to the length- i thought it gave me the perfect amount of length- not too long, but just long enough to look super flirty and amazingly pretty (the perfect lashes to bat at my crush!!!)! another reviewer mentioned this, and i noticed it too- this mascara gives great definition as well! each lash is visible and amazingly defined, which really makes the volume and length more apparent, and also vamps up the pretty/flirtyness! this mascara also curls (again, not too much, but just enough to look pretty and flirty!), and the curl that it gives actually stays! no worries about your lashes getting droopy (the anti-flirt!!!) with this big boy!!! something that i appreciate in lashblast fusion that i couldnt get in the original lashblast was the initial texture of the mascara. in original lashblast, for about a month, the formula is SO wet and hard to use, and i only really like it after about a month, when it's had time to dry out a bit. but in lashblast fusion, its texture is perfct from the start! not too wet, not too dry, but just right! i luv lashblast fusion, and i dont think i'll ever buy a different mascara again! NOTHING can beat lashblast fusion! go get it if u havnt got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit
rated 5 of 5
Funtabulosity329 4/11/2010 5:36:00 PM

I LUV THIS LIP BALM SSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the summer fruit one smells like those dried apricots (which is a good thing!!!), and it smells sooo good! the packaging is adorable, like a lip balm pod!!! its a really innovative application, a little ball of lip balm. this balm isnt waxy like burts bee, and stays on FOREVER- although i cant help but constantly reapply it for the great scent, adorable packaging and interestingly fun application! moisturizes so unbelievably well, and doesnt leave a disgusting film on my lips. would definitely repurchase this adorable little gem- my HG lip balm, even better than chapstick for the same reasons that i constantly reapply it!!! nothing this great should be so cheap, and yet, it is! and i can buy it at my local drugstore! i rly wanna try the stick lip balm, and the lotion when it comes out!!!!! go buy it if u dont hav it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Dazzleglass in Funtabulous
rated 5 of 5
Funtabulosity329 1/23/2010 5:38:00 PM

I LUV funtabulous dazzleglass!!!!!!!!!! its what i named my username after!!! Although the price is ridiculous ($18.00 for only 2.4 grams of product), its totally worth it. funtabulous is a gorgeous purple with fuschia, silver, gold, and mainly blue glitters in it. o, and its chock full of glitter!!! i love this for summer, such a nice bright color. this also works great for making your teeth look whiter, as blue makes things look whiter. a lot of people complain about how dazzleglasses are too thick and sticky, but i personally like that consistency in my lipglosses; the stickyness makes it last on your lips longer, and it does last for a good 2 hours without eating or drinking (its so nice to not be constantly applying lip gloss throughout my school day; im afraid the teachers would yell at me if i were applying it twice every period!!!). i also love the brush applicator; its so much more precise than the crappy doe foots they put on the lipglass aplicators. also, unlike the doe foots, the brushes dont soak up excess product that is dispersed on your lips as unwanted, too much gloss; you can wipe off any product on the brush that you dont want, and be confident that you wont be surprised by extra gloss. overall, great product, very impressed, would definitely repurchase along with other dazzleglasses.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara
rated 1 of 5
Funtabulosity329 1/18/2010 5:31:00 PM

UGH!!!!!!! this shit is the biggest waste of money ever!!!!!!! the widely spaced out bristles clumped my lashes together making it look like i had 5 huge lashes. the wet formula took forever to dry, thus i couldnt use an eyelash comb on my lashes in my attempts to de-clump my lashes; it just took all the mascara back off!!!!!! the wet buildup also probably had some type of resulting factor in the clumpiness of this mascara. didnt give any volume, lengthening, or curling. literally just coated my lashes with, what's the word, MUD!!!!!!!!! hated it. will not repurchase. i am personally appalled at maybelline; 'nuff said. wasnt worth my money at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Moisturizing Lotion
rated 5 of 5
Funtabulosity329 1/18/2010 5:18:00 PM

i dont understand y there r so many negative comments on this- i LUV it!!! at first i just used it 2 moisturize my hands when they got painfully and cracking dry in the winter. however, this past winter i hav noticed my cheeks getting exceptionally dry and flaky (i hav combo skin, so they usually get dryer in the winter, but its never been this bad b4), so i tried applying it b4 i went 2 bed 1 night to see how it worked: it said for all skin types, so i figured i would be ok. i wake up, and oh my sweet marshmallows my cheeks felt like a freaking baby's ass!!! my cheeks were touchably satiny soft- i couldnt stop rubbing them!!! and when i was applying it, the moisturizer wasnt greasy or sticky/tacky, sunk into my skin immediately, and didnt leave behind any gross oily or sticky residue. Use it every night and no more flakes, plus perfectly balanced moisture!!!!!!!!! best part_ IT DOESNT BREAK ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! i luv how the bottle is equipped with a pump- so much more sanitary than going back in again and again into a tub with my hands. Best moisturizer i've ever used, will repurchase until i die!!! go get it if u havnt got it already!

Blush -MAC - Satin Blush - Well Dressed
rated 4 of 5
Funtabulosity329 1/18/2010 4:36:00 PM

i LUV well dressed! definitely my HG blush. such a nice soft baby pink with bluish, purpleish undertones. Adds a beautiful rosy flush to my cheeks that looks totally natural; like i just got in from a brisk jog! texture is amazing, so smooth. quality is great, i've dropped it FACE DOWN on the marble floor probably ten times already and its still looks flawless in the pan! Adds some beautiful life and color to my otherwise powder-white cheeks- im EXTREMELY FAIR!!!!! applies like a dream, and a probably have the quality and texture to thank for that. it apllies evenly and smoothly (?), and never patchy. One thing i have a problem with is that the staying power on its own is not great; i have a 6 and a half hour school day, and on its own, the blush is gone by 12 noon and im back to my ghostly white, alabaster self. however, since i dont use foundation, if i apply Cetaphil's Moisturizing Lotion (for all skin types) or good ol' Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Cosmetic Primer before i apply well dressed, the blush lasts throughout and beyond my school day! But, since the blush can't stay on long on its own, i had to take off a lippie. Overall, great product, would definitely repurchase. GO BUY IT IF YOU HAVNT GOT IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!
