Eye Shadow -MAC - Stars N Rockets
Frogin479 4/11/2006 8:04:00 AM
Stars N Rockets is a great substitute for those of you who are after the d/c Pink Pearl pigment. Beautiful beautiful shade, but I took one lippie off because I need a primer in order to get it to show up on me (light olive C3). I wish it applied true to pan without the aid of a primer; it has been sitting unused in my palette since its release until just recently when I scored the UD Primer Potion. I'm glad to have it as a back-up for when all of my beloved Pink Pearl is used up, though.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sketch eye shadow
Frogin479 2/18/2006 11:11:00 AM
I LOVE Sketch! This is a deep, dark plum burgundy with slight reddish sparkle. Great pigmentation and lasts all day without creasing. Looks fabulous as a crease color with Milani's Heavenly Pink. My favorite way to use it, though, is as an eyeliner; makes my brown eyes *pop* when I use it to line both top and bottom lashlines. =)

Eye Shadow -Milani - Heavenly Pink
Frogin479 2/18/2006 10:57:00 AM
Very light matte soft pink. The texture is wonderful, and for being such a light color this has great pigmentation. It lasts all day with no creasing. Can be worn alone as a wash or paired with other colors. Looks really pretty blended with and used as a highlighter with purple shadows. Worth much more than its $3 price tag!

Lip Liners -Clinique - Quickliner for Lips in Lipblush

MLBB neutral pinky brown. Creamy texture, I use this to line and fill, sometimes adding gloss on top. No problem with dry lips. Definitely a keeper! =)

Lip Liners -Almay - Almay Amazing lasting lipliner- NUDES
Frogin479 2/18/2006 10:40:00 AM
HG! This is an automatic pencil, so no sharpening required. It's the lipcolor I use most, since I usually line and fill, using Carmex underneath and sometimes add a clear sparkly gloss on top. Love, love, love this shade! No problem with dry lips, either. =)

Great pigmentation, easy to blend, and a wide range of unique colors. These don't crease at all on me and last for hours. What's not to love???

Eye Shadow -MAC - All-Girl Pigment

Pretty! A beautiful girly silvery lavendar tinged pink, similar to Swish (another one of my favorite pinks). Soft and blendable, easy to work with, and terrific color payoff. Too bad it's discontinued. =(

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cream Color Base - in general
Frogin479 2/17/2006 7:33:00 PM
I have this in Pearl. The MA sold me on this when she did a demo on her hand using the CCB as a base with Humid and Soba. It made the eyeshadows intense, exactly as they look in the pan. What she did not tell me is on the eyes, CCB creases - horribly. The only use I've found for it is to use it lightly as a browbone highlighter. This is suppose to be a very versatile product, I just haven't figured out or really tried to learn other ways to use it. I just know I will never again use it as an eyeshadow base, and I will not be purchasing any more.

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Autumn Moss
Frogin479 1/22/2006 1:38:00 PM
I love this shadow! A medium/light mossy brown with grayish tones and slight gold shimmer, it goes on smoothly and lasts for hours. I'm a sucker for green shadows, and while it's not the most beautiful green that I own, it is probably the most flattering on me (very light olive complexion, dark brown hair & eyes). I've used this over Clinique's cream shadow/base (the shimmery white one) and paired it with Sugar Sugar - the combo makes my eyes *pop*, calling attention to them without screaming, "LOOK AT MY EYESHADOW!" Not exactly what I would call 'fun' (as I usually reserve that for my brighter colors), but it is definitely an elegant shade. Will repurchase when I hit pan!

Pressed Powders -Paula Dorf - Bronze Pressed Powder
Frogin479 12/27/2004 4:39:00 AM
I'm loving this pressed powder, and I love the MA who suggested it to me! It gives me a perfect healthy glow...not too brown/orange like some other bronzers. I thought I had found my HG blush/bronzer in BE's Warmth (sheered out and sparklized with a little True Gold), but after discovering this beauty I haven't reached for my Warmth once. I definitely will be repurchasing this one! =)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sushi Flower eyeshadow
Frogin479 12/4/2004 9:43:00 PM
Bright coraly-pink, looks a little intimidating in the pan but actually goes on quite nicely. I was surprised by how much I liked it on! Applied with a sponge applicator all over the lid (made the color intense), used Pearl cream base (on brow bone only as a highlighter), lightly layered BE True Gold over both, lined with black liquid liner, then layered Saucepot glitter liner over the black. Probably not for the timid, but a very pretty look IMO. Also had incredible staying power, as I worked a 9 hour shift (in the heat with grease flying about-fast food), rubbed my eyes a few times, and came home and fell asleep with my makeup on. Woke up 8 hours later with my eye makeup perfectly in tact after sleeping on my face...quite impressive. =)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Swimming
Frogin479 12/4/2004 9:17:00 PM
When at the MAC counter, tested Swimming and Sprout on my hand, and they were very similar. Went with Swimming because I loved the silvery sparkle. When applied with a brush, it goes on quite sheerly. If you use a sponge applicator, you'll get that gorgeous vibrant sparkly green that you see in the pan. I applied this with the sponge applicator all over the lid, used Pearl cream base (as a highlighter on the brow only), lined with black liquid liner, then layered Saucepot glitter liner over the black. Easy combo, no blending required, but not for the timid. Have fun with this one, ladies. =)

Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara
Frogin479 11/6/2004 2:32:00 PM
Love this mascara! Thickens and lengthens my lashes without clumping or making them stick together. Nothing else I've tried has given me such great results, and you definitely can't beat the price! Have been using it for years, and will continue to repurchase.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eye Express Eyeliner
Frogin479 11/6/2004 2:25:00 PM
Love, love, LOVE this eyeliner! It's incredibly easy to apply, whether you want a thin or thick line. It dries quickly, but is easy to remove should you need to make a correction. Great staying power, never smudges, fades, or runs (and I work at least 9 hours a day in a fast food restaurant, in the heat surrounded by grease). Been using it for years, not even interested in trying another brand of eyeliner. Would be heartbroken if this product is discontinued!

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer- True Gold
Frogin479 9/11/2004 6:29:00 PM
Gorgeous! A perfect gold shimmer, it's beautiful all by itself or layered over other colors. I love to use this layered over soft focus Glamour in the crease, and mixed with Warmth to use as a blush.
