Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
FrogPrincess1987 2/24/2013 10:26:00 PM
I use this as a primer. It works. I wouldn't say as well as Lancome's La Base Pro, but it works well enough. It makes my foundation last longer than if I have used nothing at all. This also helps my foundation blend well. I dislike Smashbox's primer because it really does nothing for me. The Monistat chaffing gel works to where it helps keep my foundation on for about 4-5 hours compared to 6-8 hours that La Base Pro does or the lousy one hour that going without anything does for me. Its good in a pinch and does not break me out at all. I keep this handy in my makeup bag for the in-between times.
I used this as an exfoliant and I found it was way too harsh for my baby-like sensitive skin. It exfoliated but also iritated. My skin was red and it burned. I will keep using this for other household uses and I will be trying this with peroxide for teeth whitening. I will update then.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup
FrogPrincess1987 2/20/2013 8:24:00 PM
I didn't really like this foundation too much. I liked that it was a light coverage that was buildable. I did not like the dryness. It accentuated the dryness on my nose. Also, one day out with my boyfriend, he made the comment that I had been reading Twilight too much... Its super glittery. Not a satiny or dewy finish but a glitter finish. I did not like this at all! I do prefer a pump but this one leaves a lot of product at the bottom that you can't get to. I ended up having to break the pump off to get the large amount of product left in the bottle. Not the foundation for me.
I've finally found a drug store foundation that works well. It matches my skin tone (I forget what the name of the shade is but the number is 150 in the dry to normal), it blends well, and best of all it covers up redness. It is medium coverage and I don't have to use much. You do have to pour it and you can accidently pour too much. It doesn't last the 24 hours the bottle says that it does (of course). I use a primer (La Base Pro by Lancome) and set it with a powder (Coty Airspun translucent powder) and it lasts a good 6 hours which is good for me. Usually it looks as if I have no makeup on an hour after application if I don't use primer and set it. I've never tried this without primer and powder and wouldn't want to. Over all this is great for a smooth, flawless base and coverage is excellent. I personally prefer a thicker, less liquidy formula but I put that aside because of all the good qualities in the foundation. I have found my regular foundation. It cost $10 at WalMart and is definately affordable especially for its great qualities.
This actually made my foundation last! I've used Smash Box primer in the past and it did nothing to make my foundation last. La Base made blending easy and my foundation last an entire Christmas party. I swore off primer because of Smash Box's but tried La Base Pro when I received a sample. I am happy that I did because I have found something that keeps my foundation on.
I used to love this in high school. It was my favorite, now its overwhelming and cheap smelling to me. It may have been a fad back in the day because now it just smells childish and too sweet.
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
FrogPrincess1987 5/10/2012 10:31:00 PM
Wow, this is excellent! So far I like all Jordana products but I am extremely picky about mascara. This did not clump, flake, and it held a curl. It definately defined as well. This is comparable to some high end brands that I have used. It was $2.99 at Walgreens and its THE BEST drugstore buy and a great beauty secret given the results compared to price. EXCELLENT product!
The best mascara I have ever used. Doesn't clump, lengthens, and doesn't flake! I love it. 4 lippies because I'ma po' girl and can't afford it all the time at $26 dollars. Worth every penny though.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Silk Elements Megasilk Heat Protection Spray

Too oily for my hair. I already use an oil. I'm mostly let down because the SA at Sally's was horrible. I asked if this was oily she gave me attitude and and said no. I use it for the first time on a section of hair and sure enough it was too oily. I've never been to a Sally's where their SA's were knowledgable about their products. I was looking for a heat protector and would have bought one from Sally's that day she didn't have to pretend she knew about the product and lie to me. Ok venting is done. Too oily for my fine hair, if I didn't already use an oil that I am happy with I may consider this product for me.. Until then this is not the product for my hair.
I have used this product off and on for a year and still have over half a bottle. I have read the lable countless times and followed directions to a t, but I still have no idea what the heck this stuff does. I never notice any difference at all to my hair. I try to see a difference or notice anything new but nothing. It feels like I'm putting nothing on my hair. Idk for anyone else but again I have failed to see anything that this product is supposed to do. Over priced and worthless.
Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum
FrogPrincess1987 4/21/2012 1:17:00 AM
When I used this product (for over a year) I considered it te best. It smoothed my frizzy hair, wasn't greasy, didn't build up and smells fantastic. Since then I have found something better, One 'N Only Argan Oil treatment. My hair has never looked so healthy and beautiful before (no upsell here, the stuff is truly awesome). But, before I found that, this worked best for my hair and was sold. A little goes a long way and the bottle lasts a long time. I used it on my dap hair and on dry, after styling to smooth out my ends. It never looked greasy. I won't buy this again because I found something better.
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Mr. Pumice - Pumi Bar
FrogPrincess1987 4/17/2012 2:01:00 PM
The best that I have ever used to get rid of my dry, flakey, desert feet. I got results instantly with minimal scrubbing. I use this every day and my feet have never looked better (even with regular pedicures). I used that stupid "as seen on tv" Ped Egg and that worked for a short while before it became so dull an unesuable. It gave me painful, ugly deep cracks on my heals. I will continue to use Mr. Pumice and so will my boyfriend who also loves this not just for his feet but his calloused hands as well. Love!
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only - Moisture Repair Conditioner
FrogPrincess1987 4/17/2012 1:39:00 PM
I use Hair One cleansing conditioner for a shampoo and conditioner. I have swore off regular shampoos and conditioners but I have found that I like using conditioner with it. Its not a neccesary step at all because with Hair One alone my hair looks fantastic and is uber healthy, but I have found that using a conditioner only makes it that much bette. With this conditioner especially. It makes my hair smooth and silky and it smells great. I love argan oil and this has no sulfates so it doesn't hurt my bleach blond hair. The reason why I gave only 4 lippies is because I wish that the fragrance lingered after rinsing. The smell is excellent!
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One n' Only - Argan Oil Treatment
FrogPrincess1987 4/17/2012 1:24:00 PM
I love this product. I use it on my damp hair because on dry hair it doesn't go on as evenly. It gives my hair a healthy shine without it being an oily shine. I have a job where I see hundreds of the same people on a daily basis and after I started using this oil treatment on my hair I get many compliments on how "beautiful" my hair is. I used to get a couple of "cute hair" compliments but never beautiful! I love the smell, its funny that it reminds me of October for some reason... I used to use Luster's Sheen Pink Spray for years I tossed a nearly full can after using this. Its good stuff. I only use a drop and I have hair about 4. And a 1/2 inches past my shoulders, a little goes a long way. I have the smallest bottle and I can see that lasting me for months. I love this product and will continue to buy this. Excellent stuff.
Made my lashes clump and flakes pretty bad. The brush was horrible and the bristles stuck together. This also dried out and became unuseable very fast. Did not like at all!
