Pros: -Great buildable coverage. -Blends nicely. -Comes in very light colors for us pale chicks. -Lasts a fair amount of time. (8-10 hours) Cons: -Although I'm pale, (as in most foundations in the lightest color are too dark for me) this one in the lightest was a bit too light even for my winter months. -Doesn't last in the sun at all. ( even with powder) -It's a bit oily so you'll need a loose powder. -It's not oil free and with a few days it made me break out. -No pump and the bottle isn't good for klutzes like me. :P --------------------- -Overall I'd say this is a pretty nice foundation as long as you're not prone to acne. It's really great if your very pale and looking for a foundation that's not too dark. -I'd probably buy this foundation again for my winter months just because of the amazing and sheer coverage it gives. =)

Tinted Moisturizer -Jane - Be Pure Aguaceuticals

To start with, yes they still make this product. I saw a few other reviews saying they didn't and thought I should clear that up. So I bought this product for purely what it is; a toner. For about 7 or 8 dollars it was pretty cheap. Anyway, I bought it in very fair, and pink undertones. I naturally have yellow undertones (although I'm quite pale) but I figured I'd give it a try. 1) This product was VERY yellow. There is no way it's for a person with pink undertones. 2) This product was extremely dark. Through the winter I tend to get pretty pale, however I wouldn't consider myself EXTREMELY pale. Anyway, this was about 10 shades darker then my skin tone. 3) Smells like a sunscreen. Not sure if that is a pro or a con. (but I think it's gross) 4) It's more like a foundation then a tinted moisturizer. I know a lot of people here have stated that it has little coverage, but for a tinted moisturizer it's not supposed to have much. I found it was more like a very creamy medium coverage foundation. 5) Now I read quite a few reviews about this product burning on some people's skin. I didn't really pay much attention to it since I'm not really allergic to many products. However, a couple minutes after I put this on it started burning in a couple places. I decided to ignore it and put my foundation on. Within a couple more minutes it was really starting to irritate my skin, so I washed it off. 2 hours later (and 3 washes) and my skin is still on fire. It's not really red (although I'm sure it will be), but boy does it sting! I really should have listened to the reviews on here! Like I said, I'm not allergic to much (this would be my first bad reaction to a product) so I didn't think I'd experience anything from this. I just hope my skin is alright in the morning. Right now I'm moisturizing it with a strong Aveeno lotion to ease the stinging. =/ So overall, I think this is a pretty crappy product. Maybe if you have dark skin, very yellow undertones and very tough skin this will work out for you, otherwise spend your money elsewhere.

I bought this at a Sephora while in New York. I must say, I love this stuff! Most perfumes hate my natural skin scent, but this one smells so amazing with it. It was only about 20 dollars, and seems to last forever. I definitely would buy again. =)

I love the color, but it chipped very easily and clumped up in the bottle. I guess you get what you pay for. It was only about 2 dollars, so it wasn't too bad for the money.

I'm not sure if they still sell this stuff, but it really is a great product. I got it way too light for my skin tone, however it blends in really well. covers up blemishes and under eye circles like a charm. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't last long. (on my face) I've had the same bottle for over a year now though. :p

Not that great. Clumped up a lot and didn't last long. Wouldn't buy again.

I love this product! I have wavy, thick, somewhat frizzy hair and this stuff works great. I get compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looks all the time. I really love how it smells and that it actually makes my hair wavier then it normally is. :P Definitely try this out!

Powder -Cover Girl - TruBlend Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

So this powder is alright. I've been using it for a while now, but I do have a few complaints. For one, I get down to the plate within a month, so it doesn't last very long. When I put it on it always look very pale, however throughout the day I've noticed that it gets much, much darker. Also, it needs to be touched up a lot. HOWEVER, it has amazing coverage for a powder! I swear by this stuff, it can cover just about anything. Really that's the only reason I buy it. So if your looking for coverage I recommend this, otherwise try elsewhere.

Loose Powders -Cover Girl - TruBlend Minerals
rated 2 of 5
Fluffycat2700 4/18/2010 3:03:00 AM

So I've been using Cover Girl TRUBlend minerals pressed powder for about a year now. I'm not fond of liquid foundation, so I mainly stick with powders. Anyway, I decided to try one of the loose powders the other day. I bought number 2 (same shade as my pressed powder), but when I tried it out it was wayyy too dark. I took it back and then traded it in for the lightest one. I'm not fair skinned, but once again this was too dark. I decided to give it a try anyway. So immediately I noticed the TERRIBLE coverage. If you want any kind of coverage at all you have to put a lot on, which will then turn your skin orange. Secondly, I noticed that it doesn't last long at all. Within an hour all that remained was an orange tint. =/ Cover Girl really made a mistake when they made this product. Even the little brush pad thing it came with is crap. The packaging can't get much worse either, the powder mainly flies all over my sink. The only plus about this product is that it evens out your skin tone to an extent. Also, I noticed there's a bunch of glitter in it...which is just strange. I don't know about you, but I don't want my face full of glitter! Do not by this product, it's not worth the money!
